Good location, spacious room (they upgraded us to a suite), nice onset restaurant. The breakfast was good (for Tunisia standards) however there wasn't enough staff so it meant that there were often no plates or knifes and forks, and some of the baskets were not refilled.
Service tres attentionne/tres belle vue des chambres /piscine tres agreable
The only thing I liked about this hotel was it's location bu I could live without it The hotel was dirty, old, unfriendly with non-existing service, requires general makeover
Right on Hammamet beach. That's it. The reception staff were unhelpful and tried to extort money from us at every opportunity. The The reception staff were unhelpful and tried to extort money from us at every opportunity. The hotel is essentially a 5 star international resort in ruins. It ios perfectly located but has been neglected horribly. From the semen stained sheets (not joking) to the poor quality of staff, poorly maintained facilities, "masseuse" who didnt have a clue (I think he was the pool boy the week before). Do yourself a favour and dont stay here.
The location was fantastic - right on the beach.Bedroom with sea view had a great view. Stroll along beach to medina, just five - ten minutes walk; Pool area is also very good - everythign outside the hotel is fine! Unfortunatley the rooms are very Drab and let the hotel down badly. With such a great location, the hotel should match the rooms. Would be good it they did. The pillows were terrible - chopped up foam! Slept without one. . No bathroom amenities ar all - a wall hanging soap dispenser was empty. Staff speak little English. Staff not very helpful. Had to wait 45 mins after checking in to get into room.
What I liked most was the location of the hotel because it is situated right on the beach and I also liked the staff who were very helpfull and friendly no
the place off the hotel very close to beach and to the towen centre the cleanliness off the hotel very poor for the 3star hotel
The big comfortable number Its no Wi-Fi Internet in the hotel. And we needed a little bit more ware for cookoing.
150M away from beach and tourist area Reception never answer the phone. We tried to call them for 3 days before our stay. No telephones in rooms, you have to pay extra for tv. Kitchen is disgusting, didn't bother to try restaurant food.
Clean, spacious room, friendly staff, good location near the centre of Hammamet. Rooftop pool area which would be outstanding, given some care and attention. The whole hotel feels slightly shabby, though everything works. It's in need of a coat of paint, the courtyard garden needs tending, saggy sunbeds and umbrellas need replacing. If we had wanted to use the self-catering facilities we would need to have asked for the missing utensils to be supplied, as there was only a colander and saucepan lid in our kitchenette. We timed our visit to take advantage of the shoulder-season rate, however we would have been disappointed if we were paying the full high-season rate.
I was thrilled to see and try out the new spa! I hope that they are able to maintain it's quality and appearance. This was my third stay at La Residence Hammamet and the personnel are always courteous, helpful and polite. The location is ideal, the kitchenette is a nice convenience, and the rooms are a good size. The prices are great, even though there is an obvious need for some renovations, it's an overall good deal. I think the hotel is worth its price, but the overall appearance of the buildings has gotten worse since I began staying there a year ago - mold, chipping paint, falling chunks of concrete from the overhang on the rooftop promenade, etc. It wouldn't keep me from returning as the rooms have always been adequate, but I fear that continued degeneration of its overall appearance could mean eventual closing as it does not meet 3 star standings as it has noted on the front of the hotel.
There was wi-fi in the room and it was a big and nice room.
