breakfast was great and the dinner even better. The staff and the owner were very helpful and always there when you need anything. The view from my room was amazing and the house itself was very special and impressive.I think this is a great location and a very nice accommodation for exploring the surrounding when you like it more calm without other tourists.
The main tourist spots are quite far. The waterfalls and the Hortons place as well as Ellas Rock and a Cappuccino or nice Restaurants.
The view , decor, food, host and the huge comfortable bed not to mention the great location.
Lovely rooms, great location, fantastic views, wonderful hospitality (esp happy hour), brilliant food (and make sure to do plenty of walking as you're best bringing a heatry appetite)
Everything!... The hosts, the staff, the food (breakfast and the optional dinner), the terrace, the room, the decor, the antiques, the dog, the view and the ginger biscuits! The host Wilfried made us feel right at home in his amazing property. He was very helpful with much advice what to do and see in the local area. Don’t miss the ‘happy hour’ where you can have a nice relaxing drink and share stories with this man who has really seen the world! The food prepared by his wife Princey and the staff was also incredible. We tried many new authentic recipes and flavours that we hadn’t experienced so far on our trip. Honestly, this place is so unique has so much character, it really is a must for anyone visiting Haputale.
Everything was perfect
