Pros: The parking was a bit inconvenient. Great location. We were driving using GPS and it was difficult to find. We called the hotel and they stepped out to find us, very helpful.
Pros: Beauty full building, incredible views, very serene location.
Pros: The staff, the location, the accommodation were all 5 star. The room was decorated beautifully. Very comfortable bed, huge bathroom. The food was the standard of a 5 star hotel.
Cons: There is a little harbour just along for the hotel, more could be made of this feature
Pros: Recently renovated, clean, comfortable seaside rooms. Couldn't ask for better! A few minutes from ferry.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Beautiful location!
Cons: Maybe a bit understaffed.

Cons: No kettle in the room but staff sorted out a cup of tea to take to bed.
Pros: Location, great views Quaintl buildings
Cons: Musty & outdated rooms Poor restaurant, only 2 dinner options & they ran out of food. Live band played until 2 am, very loud, could be heard anywhere in the hotel
Pros: I stayed here 15 years ago before crossing Sognfjord and travelling further north. I returned with good memories and was not disappointed. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The ...

Situated by the ocean, Brekkestranda Fjordhotel is a great choice for a stay in Gulen. You can relax with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like premium bedding and down comforters.
Pros: Comfy, central and practical. Nicely done up suite with a view, and doors out to a terrace and natural surroundings. Fantastic restaurant!
Cons: Information on the availability of restaurant facilities were not updated. As opposed to the rooms, the hallways and outside hasn't been refurbished, and looks really shoddy.
Pros: Very open and friendly owners, uncomplicated arrival, great location and view, expedient kitchenette, quiet atmosphere, comfortable lounge
Pros: Friendliness of hotel owner, could call whenever for all questions we might have. Felt very welcome!! The bed was also super comfortable. Area has very interestinf things to offer: e.g. tour with ...

Pros: Great location, amazing views. Cabins are very simple but clean and well arranged.
Cons: Very small bedrooms. Basic kitchen equipment available only (no microwave and no electric kettle)

Cons: Did not receive the bed linen we paid for, may have been our fault for not collecting? Thin walls but it is a cabin...
