Pros: This is a beautiful hotel in an elegant old building that was completely redone to creat the hotel. Courteous and helpful staff. Concierge services were excellent. Rooms are large and well furnished. Ten minute walk to the Jaffa Gate of the old city. Breakfast was included and was excellent.
Cons: I-PAD provided in the room for hotel services never worked, even with repeated calls and IT requests.

very expensive for what you got - small rooms with a big glass walled bathroom. one small bottle of water in a room for 2 and no access to minibar - did not make sense. when I complained, the front desk told me that the design was intentional.
Pros: beautiful looking. great location in Jerusalem. breakfast buffet was very nice with a lot of different foods.
Cons: not at all user friendly. poor lighting in room. bathroom is all glass so no privacy unless you know how to frost the walls! internet free but not so good. cleaning staff did not speak English and just walked into the room whenever they wanted!

Guests will have free perks like breakfast, WiFi, and wired Internet. Rooms feature bonuses like kitchens and sofa beds, along with jetted tubs and living rooms.
Pros: Comfortable room, excellent location. Nice breakfast. Immaculate. I would highly recommend it if you are planning to visit the old city. Not great if you have small kids in tow - no run around space.
Cons: There was some construction in the lower lobby and it was chaotic and hard to find the front desk. But once you stumbled around the dust and shambles of the first floor and figured out you had to go upstairs -- and located the hidden elevator -- it was fine.

They do a great job of coaching you to not use sites like priceline or booking.com and basically beg you to give them a high rating and I see why. This hotel should be a three star. As an american traveling all the time this place fell flat on its face. I also never take the time to write reviews but after seeing this place rated so highly by a trustworthy site like priceline I just cant help myself.
Pros: The History of the hotel was the most interesting part of the experience at the KD.
Cons: The service staff at the front desk and in the restaurant where we ate breakfast couldn't have been anymore atrocious. They were rude and completely unhelpful. I should've stayed at the Mamilla or the American Colony. I was very underwhelmed.
King David Jerusalem puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Mamilla Mall and First Station. You can indulge in massages or body treatments, and La Regence, one of 2 restaurants, serves international cuisine and is open for dinner. 2 bars/lounges and a poolside bar are other highlights at this luxurious hotel, and rooms offer 24-hour room service and LCD TVs.
Pros: We love the Leonardo because of the great service, the homey yet luxurious feel, and the magnificent views of Jerusalem. The breakfast is unmatched and the location is great too.
Cons: The only downside is that you have to park your own car. Overall it's a great hotel with great prices.
Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem is across the road from Independence Park, where guests can visit the Lion’s Cave, believed to house ancient relics from the world's major faiths. It's a 15-minute walk to the city's holiest sites – the Western Wall, Temple Mount, and the majestic Dome of the Rock.
Pros: An excellent staff made our stay particularly nice. We made a couple unusual requests and the professional staff at the American Colony stepped up without hesitation to provide for our needs. We hesitated before booking in this location but found it to be very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast provided was also fantastic and diverse even by Israeli big breakfast standards. Our only less than stellar comment is that the selection of books and literature in the gift/book shop is very one sided and partisan. This shouldn't have been totally surprising but given the excellence and absence of political statements everywhere else it became noticeable. A great hotel.
Pros: Location is prime (near old city), good picturesque restaurant (Arabesque) and summer bar, nice pool, good choice of TV channels. Good staff albeit sometimes appearing a bit inexperienced.
Cons: Tapware difficult to moderate (hot/cold, quantity/flow of water), towels not so plush, amenities in the bathroom subpar (smell [like disinfectant], wrapping soulless), business center not open 24/7 as indicated without explicitely having to ask, pool opening hours (only until 18.00).
Pros: The rooms and architecture. Felt like old Jerusalem vs. modern hotels.

Pros: However there was no concierge at the Dan in Jerusalem
And there was one available at the Dan in TA. That was helpful as the staff in Jerusalem did not seem to be knowledgeable
on info re: dinning out.
Pros: very good breakfasts
Cons: hotel needs an internet room, where visiters can use the hotejs computer, keyboard etc
Pros: Front desk staff very kindly allowed us to check out late the day of our plane -- 8 pm. Thanks!
Breakfast was very good.
Lobby lounge is very nice.
Cons: Most of the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. Our rooms were barely made up (wet towels left on floor). Air conditioner took a long time to get room cool. Rooms are very small. No concierge.
Cons: The staff, for the most part, wasn't helpful. For example, it was a cold night, and when I called downstairs and told them the heater was broken--even the lowest setting made the room unlivable--the staff's response was to open my window. It was raining heavily with strong winds that night, so I pushed the staff person further, who finally sent up a portable radiator. The sheets on the bed were torn. The bed wasn't made adequately, so that I couldn't fit my body into the bed. The shower glass wasn't sealed, so that water leaked all over the bathroom. Several staff at the front desk were unfriendly.
Pros: Good location - 5 - 10 minute walk from King David hotel and Mamilla square which leads right to Jaffa Gate. Extensive breakfast buffet.
Cons: Rooms a bit dated. Terrible wifi but much of Jerusalem not much better. No grocery/convenience store nearby.

Cons: the room furnishings were basic; bath needs update.
The rooms are basic but clean. The water smelled a little funny. We were on the 2nd floor and in the evening we could faintly hear the choir practicing. The building is very beautiful. Other pros about the hotel: breakfast, free wifi in rooms and staff at reception.
Pros: The location is in walking distance to the Old City. There are also many places to eat and a 24 - hour grocery store nearby. We easily walked to sights of interest.
I wouldn't suggest this hotel to my worst enemy! It was terrible!
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: The sheet on our bed had blood on it; the carpet was stained; the bathtub was dirty. The public areas were drab and very tired looking.
