Pros: Beautiful 17th century building, my room was stunning, I wasn’t expecting the huge suite that I was assigned! Claire was very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was eaten in the charming dining room. The countryside views were delightful and my stay was very peaceful. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave it! Claire kindly let me leave my car in the car park while I attended a family funeral, which was lovely of her. I would definitely stay again if I’m in area. Wonderful.

Cons: unfortunately the couple in next room were having a loud discussion which due to the door between the rooms ( reducing soundproofing ) was audible, and as it was still going on after midnight was not very considerate of them. Maybe a notice or two reminding people to keep the noise down would help.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone were friendly and helpful the room was excellent, very clean and everything you needed
Cons: Liked all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything except the below.
Cons: The air con unit was at the top of the room. As heat rises, the room was quite cold. That was even when I had it on at 30C
9.5 Excellent
Pros: the air conditioning was great especially on one of the hottest of days. plenty of icy cold water available, the staff are always friendly and this is particularly good when you are a woman travelling alone.
Cons: the menu seems a little tired, too many pizzas and burgers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: loved everything thanks - would appreciate a fridge in the room though please; after all it is a big enough room to fit one in :¬)
Cons: We absolutely hate the "watering can" shower heads attached to the ceilings in your 'ordinary rooms', which is one of the reasons why we like to book the accessible room as, not only does it give us the extra space in the room, and the safety features of handlebars to the loo and sink, but it also has the showers which one can detach and use to be more directed with the flow of water. For females especially the "watering can" type shower head attached permanently to the ceiling, does not allow women to wash the 'bits underneath'! Please use these types of detachable hose showers in all of your rooms.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location, Comfortable Bed. Lovely Bathroom
Cons: Deluxe Room? - don't think so. No Hairdryer, No room for Microwave which lived in the Wardrobe, Toaster lives on the top of said wardrobe. Breakfast? 2 x packs of cereal/yogurts/milk? Not what I expected from the info given. No reception to check in or out of. Helped by the restaurant staff to find out which room we were staying in and to get our key. No communication from the owner, should I have received a text message? No water, for everyone on the Sunday Morning!!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast provided in the room was ok. We would have liked to have a cooked breakfast in the restaurant below but it was closed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was large, comfortable, very clean and other than a bit of noise from people in the room above moving about it was completely silent. The bathroom was spotless and everything was well equipped. Breakfast was left for us, a bottle of water, carton of orange juice, 2 pints of milk and two yogurts in the fridge. 2 bananas and 2 mini boxes of cereal on the shelf. There was a kettle, toaster and microwave for use to. Nice garden area too which we would have used if the weather was a tad warmer in the evening.
Cons: There was no one to great us, no check in or anything, apparently we should have received an email to tell us which room was ours so we're could just let ourselves in, but we didn't. The restaurant isn't linked to the rooms and the guy there was a bit rude but did phone the hotel owner to find out which room we were in.
7.5 Good
Pros: We were supplied with cereals, milk, fruit juice and yoghurt which was all that we needed. The restaurant downstairs offered full English if we had wanted it.
Cons: Because of the motel like set-up the only thing we didn't like was the inability to open any windows. The only way to ventilate the room was by leaving the patio entrance doors unlocked - not ideal. Would probably have been quite stuffy in the room on a hot summers night although when we visited there in late June it wasn't TOO bad.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Scenery - room large enough and bathroom good.
Cons: The rooms are too hot - no windows to open - there is a fan which is of some use - only slightly. Because the doors are patio type doors this is the only air you can get. This is not good or safe to have open to sleep or have fresh air. The breakfast is a cereal box/ yoghurt - not too bad but not a continental breakfast. The shower is powerful - which is good but very fragile handles! I did not meet the owners or any staff - key left inside and I had to ring to see which room I was in.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was stunning.
Cons: The room was nice but could have done with some TLC (The oven was filthy. Fridge door was nearly hanging off. Outside area was dirty). We went to the restaurant for lunch and it was excellent. We then decided to go there for dinner and were not impressed. The food was nothing like the lunch we experienced. The food was cold and the staff (Brothers i think) nearly engaged in a fight in the kitchen! I asked the waiter if everything was ok and he responded "Yeah, just brothers fighting as usual). We decided to pay the bill and leave after this.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fresh milk in the fridge, yoghurts and cereals available. Attached Italian restaurant very good.
Cons: You could hear the occupants of the room above.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cute. Restaurant it’s attached to’s food is yum yum yum!
Cons: No water when we got up as electrics had fused. By time we heard back from proprietor we had had to leave ( Unshowered) He did apologise but no offer of discount for a further stay to compensate.
7.0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness of room and ensuite.
Cons: 1) An opened carton of orange juice and a variety pack box left in room for breakfast. 2) Option of full English in restaurant at extra charge, though at 9:55am the restaurant was still locked up. 3) Security light adjacent to Room 5 left on all night, so room never truly dark. 4) NO SATISFACTIRY VENTILATION.ROOM STIFLINGLY HOT HAD TO LEAVE EXTERNAL DOOR OPEN ALL NIGHT. SECURITY IMPLICATIONS WITH THIS.

Pros: Comfortable clean rooms good breakfast first nights stay was very good
Cons: There was a party second night the restaurant was closed couldn’t eat in the bar because adults were f and jeffing we had football kicked at our window and music blaring until gone 11 very very poor. The if an event is being held at the hotel it should not affect the residence of the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast choices. There were even gluten free options, which positively impressed me. The coffee machine at breakfast was amazing and coffee was very delicious. Dinner food was delicious too. Garden was big and nice. Been here for the wedding and had truly great time and great wedding.
Cons: Little fridge could be in the room to keep drinks cool.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is good. Frequent visitor to the hotel. Excellent breakfast lots of choice and eat as much as you like.
Cons: The show/hair wash in the bath was empty. Luckily I had brought my own, however this was in my bag, hence had to get out of the shower to get it from the bedroom!!

Pros: Room was clean and quiet towels etc provided
Cons: Nothing not to like a pleasant place to stay
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and chatty, the location of the hotel was ideal for our itinerary, everything with in walking distance Bed was comfortable to sleep on
Cons: The room wasn't anything like as advertised, very dated. The breakfast supposed to be a continental breakfast, but in truth was toast and cereal. As woken up after midnight with some lads kicking a football up and down the hallway. Bit expensive without a cook breakfast. Pillows need renewing some were badly stained
5.8 Okay
Cons: Shared bathroom, tv didn’t work,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: For the price the hotel was excellent value. We had a twin room with a shared WC/Shower. Check-in was really good and staff were very friendly and efficient. The location was handy for north-south travel routes and not too far off the main roads. Food in the evening in the pub/restaurant was good quality and value. Coffee at breakfast was a pod machine and tasted good. Car park was nice and open with CCTV so we felt safe leaving our motorcycles at the front door.
Cons: Beds were a bit hard for our liking. This is just a personal preference. They might suit others. The shared showers had no gel or shampoo and there was no way to change the soiled/wet shower floor mats. The room was good value but a little bit tired/tight. Willing to accept this for the price. Mugs in the room instead of small cups would have been welcomed. Breakfast was basic (bread, croissants, cereal), but for the price, was ok. I can’t eat wheat so didn’t suit me. Corby as a town is a little bit run down. We didn’t feel that safe walking about around the Hotel. The Hotel can’t do anything about this and it’s not related to their service but I thought it was worth a mention.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Pictures don’t reflect the actual place. Rooms had no bathrooms or toilets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent. We had two rooms one of which was excellent. The second with a shared bathroom was noisy and we could hear the people snoring in the next room.
Cons: The shared toilet facilities and the double room were not what we expected, however the deluxe room was excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant little hotel clean comfy and friendly staff and the view of a bowl was highly amusing
Cons: The complimentary breakfast was a bit basic for me
10.0 Excellent
