Pros: The hotel is very quaint and the town is quiet and cute.
Cons: There are some nice walks or gentle hikes but we ran out of things to do... might be better with tiny kids or for romantic get away but for active young people this is the wrong destination
Pros: Buildings interesting and historical. Setting is quaint and lovely with many antique touches. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Complimentary champagne at dinner for special occasion was appreciated. Good breakfast, soup, and bread.
Cons: Strong mildew smell in bathroom. Only one dinner option, soup, main, and dessert. Husband's main was okay but mine was overcooked. We felt that the food was overpriced for the quality of it. Other diners were given more options, such as salad, which was confusing. Few guests at this time of year but were given room overlooking construction on the patio in the main inn above the restaurant, away from the river. We were the only guests in that building.
Pros: Sogndalstrand is the perfect place for a quiet, pieceful stay with easy access to the sea and river Sokna “Sokndalselva”. Location is more or less between Stavanger and Kristianssand. The room was really cosy with great sea and river view so close that ascending salmon were visible. Staff were friendly and professional serving excellent breakfast and dinner in the Cultural Hotel. Enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood on small hiking trails. Noticed that there were plenty of hiking and biking options. Moreover, there are workshops for artists and sales of their products.
Cons: Everything was very good.
Pros: Good service, food and bed.
Cons: Would be nice with a lounge/bar, rooms in the same building as the restaurant.
Pros: The room was large and comfortable and had a nice view. The location in Sogndalstrand was great and had some good hiking nearby.
Cons: Noise transfer between rooms and from the hallway.

Pros: The service was Great. Staff were very help full with Everything. I hope to come back...soon..
Cons: the only thing that I could complain about was....I only was there for 2 Days...... a Longer stay next time...
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Parking lot was too small for all the cars belongs to the hotel guests
Pros: Great location to explore the Magma Geopark Very rich breakfast Nice big shower
Cons: The bed mattress was extremely soft (it is a matter of preference)
Pros: Big room and comfortable bed. Lovely place consisting of old, renovated buildings.
Pros: Room ok, except that the possibilities to get fresh air was limited in that room, because of security. Bathroom ok, except that there were no holder for the toilet paper. Breakfast quite ok.
Cons: Space in the breakfast is limited when people walk around to take their food.
Pros: Renovated rooms with nice bathroom, great breakfast and very friendly employees
Pros: Great breakfast included
Cons: We booked a family room. The bunks very very noisy and squeaky when the kids turned over in bed and uncomfortable. No jug or tea and coffee in the room or small bar fridge.
Pros: Good restaurant, big bathroom, nice shower
Cons: Little confused of hotel rooms floor n reception.
Pros: fabulous conversion of five old buildings into superb hotel. Staff superb, bathroom amazing, Restaurant innovative, breakfast great choices
Pros: Modern dining room and hotel rooms. Quiet but handy location. Parking just around the corner at NK500. Superb dinner.
Cons: Entrance and reception old and dark - needs updating.
With a stay at Grand Hotell Flekkefjord in Flekkefjord, you'll be steps from Flekkefjord Museum and a 4-minute drive from Gronnes Sjobad. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was perfect, parking included, very elegant, and the food was superb, among the best we had in Norway.
Pros: The breakfast buffet was very good, including fried eggs. The staff was very friendly and the small seaside village was quaint. The bed was comfortable and the room adequate for an overnight stay.
Cons: Our standard room was very small, with the bed pushed against two walls and barely enough room to walk around the remaining sides. For the additional $20, I would recommend upgrading to the family room which is 30 sq. meters and includes a sofa bed.
Pros: Good sized room. Pleasant staff.
Pros: Charming facilities and location was grear
Cons: The Breakfast was poor and much was empty when we came. Tok a long time to refill and Even Things like cuttlery and coffee was missing
Pros: The hotel is very nice and beautiful outside. Just in the middle of this amazing small city. So you can easily take a stroll around from the hotel. Breakfast is good as well.
Cons: Very expensive.
Pros: The interior design of the room/hotel was beautiful. That attributed greatly to my wellbeing. Not all the rooms are like that yet but I I think they are planning to do this.
Cons: A bedside tabel would have come in handy.
Pros: The dinner was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine. The dining room and lounge and breakfast area were nicely decorated. Upscale but cozy. The location was perfect for walking in town.
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfy beds and towels. Very clean. Hotel with character and a small family run business. Great location. Parking from 5pm-9am is free for cars in designated areas in town and close to hotel.
Cons: We stayed on the 2nd floor in a corner family room. It was a bit cramped for 4 people. Only 4 or 5 TV channels. The flat opposite the hotel hard extremely loud heavy metal kind of music from around 8-10pm blaring, it was really very bad, like a beating disco inside your hotel room and I couldn’t fall asleep. I had big earphones to try and block it out but not of much help. This was a Thursday evening. Apparently this is a regular occurrence where some students go crazy getting ready for a night out. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault at all, but definitely took away some joy of staying there. Request a room in a different part of the hotel would be my suggestion.
Pros: Good to provide hair dryer.
Cons: Carpark too small and tedious for parking.
Pros: This is a fantastic hotel, right in the heart of the small town of Flekkefjord. We selected this location for our overnight stay on our way to Lysebotn as the last town before the small country roads and because it advertised a parking garage. The small garage was great for us, and interesting how to reach it via a pedestrian area - but it was great. The rooms were fantastic and we loved the atmosphere of the place - so much so, we all want to come back. Thanks for your hospitality, and friendly staff.
Located in Flekkefjord, Egenes Camping is by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Flekkefjord Museum and Gronnes Sjobad. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly people, nice and clean cabin
Cons: Pretty uninteresting caravan park
Pros: It was clean and had good space. The facilities were in good condition and worked as expected.
Cons: As a cyclist, it was hard to get to this location.
Pros: The place was excellent value for money. The staff were great - Friendly and personable. Is it central? No... but you get to stay in a nice quiet location, with beautiful scenery. And its only about a 15 minute cycle to central Flekkefjord. (20 minutes coming back due to the climb).
Cons: Its probably not really a big deal, but we didn't see that the check-in was only available from 16:00 on booking.com (perhaps we missed that detail), but given the location, I'm not complaining about sitting around enjoying the view for 30 minutes while we waited.
Cons: Expensive for what it offers and you even have to pay for bed sheet separately (check the small prints!). At the end the price is more expensive than a 4 star hotel directly on the beach...
Pros: Great breakfast.
Pros: Little shop for necessities and a food selection on the camping ground. Beautiful view.
Cons: Old facilities and furnishing.
With a stay at Maritim Fjordhotell in Flekkefjord, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Flekkefjord Museum and a 4-minute drive from Gronnes Sjobad. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, an elevator (lift), and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We had a not renovated room but it was big and clean with river view. Comfortable beds and bathroom. Nice bar and restaurant with big terrace on the river.
Cons: A bit pricey for the value.
Pros: the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever experienced in all the hotels I stayed at. this can not be better. the receptionist, the waitress in the restaurant: perfect! very clean and nice room - a little bit outdated. good location. free parking.
Pros: View and parking, friendly staff and lovely little town.
Cons: Filter coffee and no hot chocolate. Bath/shower with fixed glass screen was very difficult to get in and out of. The doors would not lock once inside (balcony and main). Curtains were not block-out.
Pros: A really nice place to stay, very good location, free parking! Good food joints near by and good places to hike close by
Cons: Nothing much!

Cons: Old cabin, ratter expensive (Almost the same as Hotel)
Pros: The cabins are clean, you have a lot of room
Cons: Bad mattresses, a bit far from any shops or restaurants
Pros: Efficient arrival and departure procedure, very helpful owners. :-) Quite campground, despite being quite close to the road. Small cabin that is large enough for two people, equipped with heating and small cooking possibilities and a fridge. Warm bedlinen could be booked separately.
Pros: The cabin we took was nice, with an equipped small cooking area. It was clean and definitely a good value for money. The shower house was close, and the shower/toiled rooms were good size and clean. Totally recommend a stay there!
Cons: It would have been great to have a sink in the cabin... but I suppose that's a lot of infrastructure work.
Cons: The staff was not friendly. The cabin was dirty. Sticky floor, the pots weren’t cleaned properly, dirty kitchen etc. Also many flies in the kitchen. We did not want to stay there with small children so instead decided to drive on. We did not get our money back when we explained the staff why we wanted to cancel our stay.
Pros: The location is very scenic with a river nearby. The amenities were good.
Cons: The nearest place for a meal and a drink is 3km away.
Pros: The site did exactly what it advertised. It is a Camp site for Motor homes and 'huts' for travellers. No need to go for 'disco/ bar' that is not why people go. Long may you prosper
Cons: It was just cold water when we’re taking a bath
Pros: Kind Staff, well-located but still peaceful , good internet speed
Cons: No dishwasher. No cleaning broom
Pros: The location and the cabins.
Cons: The personnel.
The cosy Moi Hotell offers stunning views over nearby Lake Lundevannet and the surrounding mountains in the idyllic village of Moi, located between Stavanger and Kristiansand. Stay close to excellent transport links, with both the E39 highway and the Sørlandsbanen railway running through the area. From Kristiansand there is a fast ferry connection to Denmark and Stavanger airport is just a 1.5 hour drive away. All the comfortable rooms are en-suite and have TVs and phones. They accommodate 1-4 guests. The café is open during the afternoon and serves a light café menu with daily specials. The á la carte restaurant Moistuå is open for dinner and the terrace is an excellent place to enjoy both the menus and the stunning views.
Pros: Friendly helpful staff and the food was very good
Cons: The rooms were a little tired and could be done with some renovation, but they were warm, clean
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The total concept did not fill my expectations for a hotel at that price locatet so far from the big cicties. The interieur in the room was old an worn out for many years ago. No internet acces in the room.
Pros: Nice staff, everything ok.
