The hotel offers a comfortable stay in a lovely setting. The breakfast is varied and frequently replenished, bar prices are not unreasonable and the rooms come well-equipped. The staff, despite having a very large number of guests to see to, were always friendly and happy to help. Overall a very pleasant stay - we will definitely return to this hotel! A minor point: there was nowhere to leave our luggage on the last day of our stay after we had checked out and before we were able to board our bus home. We were instructed to leave it in a disabled toilet, which seemed odd. Nothing was stolen and we were able to retrieve our cases just fine, but it's the first time I've stayed in a hotel that doesn't have a dedicated luggage store and I was a little worried about our bags during the time that we were away from them.
Equipment, comfortm service and employees. Renovated in 2006 Location is a little far from station - 600 m. But manageable
hotel was clean, lovely bedrooms and very quiet, good breakfast
Wellness centre Reception staff
good amenities, clean rooms, good wellness centre zero english spoken by anybody in the hotel, german spoken by everybody however? rude bar staff, reception unable to provide me with any information as they did have even a basic understanding of english
The pool and sauna Bar staff were a bit rude
The swimpool and the beautiful surroundings in Harrachov The room was a bit small for 3 persons
The location was excellent.
Loved the room design, very clean, friendly and helpful stuff. Can't but recommend. Would and will certainly stay there again.
A very nice design hotel surrounded by rural czech landscapes in a little town in the north. Good quality for an Ikea based room decoration. Only negative point: the booked Luxury-room was not any more available at our arrival and we really had to be very persuasive to get a double room instead of the triple room the guy at the reception board proposed. In the future, how can we do to be absolutely sure to get the booked room on Booking.com?
this is a new hotel the location is very far from the city center and no lift
Nice and new. Good restaurant. Modern rooms. Guys in the restaurant very helpful and with good English. Breakfast is a good value for money Very soft beds, girl at the reception desk with poor English
It is very quiet there, the hotel is brandnew. Staff are friendly, breakfast is excellent compared to other Czech hotels. Very short connection to the highway. bathrooms are small, at least a place for the toilet-bag would help.
Very nice crew Only Thai and Japanese dishes
Good place to visit the area. Clean rooms. The rooms are very small. No chair in the room. Noisy hotel. The hotel is not ready. There's no terrace, no children´s play area and no garden with benches. There's no stylish restaurant yet. We don't recommend the hotel. Maby next year when it's finished?
I had a great deal of difficulty in securing a replacement for a missing HSBC credit card and the staff was helpful in getting the HSBC office to send along a relpacement. Unfortunately, although they claimed the card was mailed to me at the Plytoun Hotel, it never arrived, despite the staff's efforts. it was a bit far from the center of Liberec.
modern and comfort nothing
Cleaness of rooms and modernity. Kind staff English speaking. Tottaly recomended. Only cable Internet -no wifi. Sauna was extra. Not easy to find it as there are no streeet names (just for the first time).
The place is great, cherful smiles and excellent accomodation. Although english is poorley spoken and german is the main second language in Harrachov, yet the english was well spoken by the Reception. The hotel is well placed in the forrest, a little difficult to acess, but all what is advertised is tehre (sometimes is rare in Czech R). Excellent place for quiet break in summer or active ski break in winter. Price is extremely reasonable. I recommend crossing the border to Polland as the first town on the road is very interesting. The city people in Harrachov did not know the place of the hotel and was a bit difficult to reach for the first time.
Everything was new & clean. Small but good swimming pool. No dish washer. There are 2 sizes of maisonettes, we had the smaller one. This one had a living room but just a small window.
The hotel is quite new and cozy. It has underground parking. Technical staff and staff at the reception who speak good English were very good. Some people from the staff did not speak English. Beside this those people were not friendly and willing to help, and they made a difference between Czech people and foreigners. For family with small children elevator would be good. We really miss some elevator.
extremely polite staff, excessive number of facilities (whirlpool, sauna, playroom, salt cave, underground parking, computer room, meeting room). Rooms are robustly equipped with kitchen apparel as well as Sat TV, LCDs, LAN Internet. Everything is new. Location is 15 minutes walk from the ski lift, 10 minutes walk to the centre. But this is quite OK. Breakfast is very simple.
We liked nature around hotel and new and modern equipment and facilities, primarily kids playground and waterpool. Also there is a shop with all necesary stuff nearby. The reception is very kind and cheerfull. For the small repairs in the room (screwhook in the bathroom) we had to wait more than 3 days, we had to repeatedly press on quality of cleanup (the towels was not changed, the carpet was not cleaned, ...) even it is for additional charge and we wanted to pay it. Also lifts missing in the hotel but they are working on it.
The location was fantastic. The appartment's room was very comfortable and clean, friendly hotel staff
I was really nicely surprised by this place .The studio had modern design and was wonderfully equipped with all needed things. We spend a very good time there. There was a very nice girl at the reception office. I liked everything except the workers buzzing almost every day from the morning just behind the window
The common areas of the building are really an art nouveau treasure and historically important, the location is perfect and some of the rooms have great views but the rooms are really basic (good value for the price but redone cheaply in the 90's) but very clean and very friendly staff.
More modern TV-set nothing
Magnificent view from the window. Great localisation. Fine and safe parking. Poor breakfast.
the location of the hotel is very good, the parking is convinient, some of the staff is excellent and very helpfull terrible, and once again, terrible food! Is it that difficult to understand that people want healthy breakfast? In this hotel, you can only dream of fresh fruit and good tee for breakfast, the hotel is OK, if you eat somewhere else
the hotel staff was very helpfull and had excellent knowledge about the town the breakfast menu ( the fruit looked rather tired and sad)
It was central, so easy to get everywhere. Staff helpful.
Hotel Praha is a beautiful hotel with amazing Art Nouveau design and decor. It is located immediately next to the Town Hall on the main square. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating.
Staff Excellent, Room Good. Art Noveau aspects superb The breakfast is limited.
Very good location in the town center. Good and reasonable price restaurants in the neigborhood. Friendly and helpful personnel mainly with very good English skills. The apartment with separate bedroom was spacious and peaceful. Nice easy access mountain hiking paths in the area, even for families with children. During our visit the weather was extremely hot and the air conditioning would have been necessary.
For the purpose of our visit (theater) the location was perfect. Staff helpfull, room spacious. Party going on outside of our windows: that, of course, cannot be changed by the hotel management.
Great location in the centre of the city. Clean, comfortable, quiet place. The breakfast.
We were given a corner suite...enormous. Very comfortable. Excellent location in the lovely town centre and yet only a short tram ride from the station.
Well appointed room - clean and good size. Friendly receptionist. Had a meal in restaurant and this was quiet with excellent food. Breakfast good. Coffee machine difficult to understand at breakfast.
Very well located, comfortable room
Charming and helpful staff; excellent service; good food and very good Moravian wines!
Location was very good, internet speed was quiet good. During my stay, until 2:00 at night, there was terrible noise in the bar, lst floor. So I couldn't sleep well. I called 3 times to reception but no one pick up and last call one staff picked up finally, I complained to hotel staff about the terrible noise from the bar, but she said that she can not do anything for me & hang up the phone. terrible staff...
The building, and style of main reception area It was the only hotel in the Czech Republic where I've stayed recently that made a charge (and a high one) for wi-fi
the friendliness of the staff the breakfasts could be better, the diluted orange juice was undrinkable
Staff are very friendly.Double room was cleaned and large. Also breakfast was very good! The staff granted the order from us. I have no dissatisfaction.
Excellent room service. No towels, towels recieved after request. Noisy view on backside of the hotel.
Elegant hotel,Comfortable rooms, parking available, nice restaurant
Free wired internet, fairly priced restaurant. Very comfortable rooms. I stayed in the renewed area of the hotel so I'm not sure if the rooms are all like the one I stayed in. Slow service at the restaurant even if it was empty.
Very frendly staff and helfull+++++++++
This hotel is very nice located. The food was very good (lot of choise during breakfast). Staff was helpfull. The price is reasonable to quality. This hotel should be 3 stars not 4. Swiming pool was not always available. The wireless internet is too slow in rooms (it is very fast in lobby and in bar).
Location was good, after I found the hotel, it was a bit challenging. In general it was bad, spa&welness hotel I wait to get sauna but I cannot. Beforehand reservation was needed, unfortunately it was not mentioned in the information. Partly it was difficult to manage with English.
Our bathroom needed refurbishment, however other rooms seemed fine.
The staff - waiter and waitress - in the restaurant was very nice. (Unfortunately leaving this week) It does not offer 4 star level of service, Difficult to find the hotel.
the weather 1. they promissed free WI FI . there was not wi fi available in the room. if I knew that I would not come to this hotel.2. The asked me, at the check out , to pay for room service that was orderred by another room but they forgot to give the other room the bill so they changed the room nomber and forgerred signature. when asked they appologized, but if did not look good on the bill I could pay for it. 3. one of the rooms given for full price was unheated ( its february in high mountains-sky holiday) and under roof so the free space was very small ( for midgets). did not receive any compensation for those irregularities.
location was ok the impossible shower and toilet in rooms 401/402 in which you could not stay straight
very big room, compteble beds, good kitchen, clean no elevator
We felt right at home in a room full of IKEA-furniture. :-) The room was great - big, clean, no aircondition but still good/cool air in the room. Free internet is a big plus! Great, nice staff, who gave excellent restaurant tips in town (Ambiente - great food!). No english menu in the hotel restaurant, no english speaking waiters/waitresses - only one spoke a little german. And the hotel breakfast has for emprovement.
The room was not available, wanted to give room twice the price ! When I refused they gived me the room forthe reserved priced, the bed was very bad and to big for the room further facilities are not there, you need to go to the restaurant beside the hotel.
only distance from city centre, it should of said how far out it was
Hotel was easy to find. First room was a little bit smelly, so we asked for another. No prob and one minute later we had a new room. Good hotel for a one night stopover.
Great hotel and staff, Liberec is nice city, we enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back soon
Apartment for 4 is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and windows can be opened fully so it's quite airy. The restaurant downstairs is cheap and highly recommended for evening meals, although the breakfasts weren't to our taste. Convenient for access to sports facilities at the Arena and for the Nisa shopping centre. The room wasn't overly clean when we arrived although this was rectified during our stay. Be aware that the hotel isn't in the centre of Liberec and a car is necessary from this location. Parking can be tight, particularly in the evening when the restaurant is busy. No lift, which is inconvenient if you have a lot of heavy luggage and a room on the third floor!
Friendliness of staff - price - comfort
Small but very nice and cleans rooms. Best price quality deal from a two week tour through Czechia. Do ask for a room at the back side as the hotel is at the exit of the highway. The beds are very low, for me this was not a problem, but I don't advise this to people with difficulties on low beds. However the whole hotel was oriented to young guests. The room was small like a luxery caravan. You have to "close" the table if you want to walk comfortably, and you had to put the chair first or you couldn't pass anymore. If you can live with this attentionpoints, definitely best choice.
