I love the how it is close to everything. Friendly staff, ample parking, quiet. I stepped back in time. The shower curtain looked like my sheets my mom out on my bed back in 1981. A tube television? To get a flat screen I have to pay $10.70 more?? Wasn't offered an upgrade, or anything else. If you aren't with Montana Rail Link, you get the crappiest rooms. Used to be a nice hotel, now it is turning into slum.
It had all the amenities I needed, outlets, frig, microwave. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. It appeared clean. Close to interstate, several restaurants, and where I needed to be. Will likely stay there again. Walls are a little thin. On a busy thoroughfair, so you hear traffic noise. Neighbors upstairs could be heard and I could smell the dope they were smoking.
It was drab! It was clean, but needed updating. The restaurant was drab, as was the food.
Customer service was the finest I have experimced. We arrived about midnight and called for a shuttle from the airport. The shuttle wasn't available so they sent a taxi for us at no cost. Could use a better lobby.
Friendly helpful staff. Funky restaurant for the onsite breakfast, but way better than your typical chain hotel buffet since they cook your food to order. Walking distance to the capitol and about a 30 minute walk downtown. Online booking sites show you rates for their 'older style' rooms, but list the descriptions of the renovated rooms. So at check in they give you the option to upgrade for $10/night. It could seem like the hotel is trying to pull one over on you, but we asked them about it and they said they have repeatedly tried to get the online sites to show the correct rate/descriptions. So don't take it out on the fronts desk folks : )
My stay included a full breakfast and all the employees seems to be very nice. I will not be staying there in future and will not recommend the hotel due to filthiness of my room. I must say then when I mentioned it no one really seemed to care
Friendly staff Free shuttle around town and to beer festival Comfy beds slept like an angel Room smelled of pot, like the neighbors were smoking they offered to switch rooms but we were already settled and about to go out so we didn't and just covered the smell with perfume, it died down Tiny towels
I liked the breakfast and the renovated bathrooms. I didn't like the shabby bedspreads because they made the room look dingy.
