Hotel Hof van Twente is situated in a village near Almelo, Hengelo and Enschede, It has a good bar/restaurant part. The beds are soft, cushions good. Staff is friendly and acts pro-active: I checked in very late, the receptionist asked me if I wanted something to eat, he did not want his customers to go to bed hungry. No.
good reception, nice in & out environment, excellent and clean room with all comfort - real great value for money nothing wrong
Rooms are OK, breakfast was fine
Only had the one night stay at the hotel, but found the restaurant, with dinner and breakfast to be very good. The bedroom was quiet to relax in and the bathroom was very clean with excelllent facilities. Good service from all of the staff.
silence, cleanliness, nice atmosphere. no.
The hotel was great value in this area.Ideal for a longer stay boasting 10 pin bowling, pool table, darts and a swimming pool with spa facilities. If I had realised I would have added an extra night for some R&R!
Excellent value for money. Evening meals available in Restaurant or Bar. 3 local restaurants as an alternative. Inclusive hot buffet breakfast. Room appointments basic. Small wall-mounted TV but 20+ channels.
Very good food in the restaurant. Rooms seem to have very thin walls, combined with that the hotel is used by groups, who enjoy the golf during the day and drinking till late in the evening (early in the morning) and who don't manage to be very quite on their way back to their rooms.
Free parking and internet. Breakfast was not too bad. Rather poorly equiped rooms.
Have French television channel
the possibility to have great outdoor fun, but in case of a day of rain you could enjoy a sauna bath.
good location very nice countryside some of the older staff were not overly friendly
Very good hotel based in quiet place. Good restaurant. Free parking and free internet. Good place to saty on the wau to Amsterdam
staff very friendly and welcoming, food was good and the room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious. No language difficulties as most staff spoke English.
the swimming pool. Easy access room on ground floor. Friendly staff. Near to quaint little town of Delden. Mosquitos in the room disturbed the little sleep we had. We had to close the window on a very hot night which was uncomfortable. You will find 'splats' of blood on the ceiling & walls where we tried to eradicate them! A staff member brought us a sliced lemon to rub on our skin to try & protect againt the bites!
the friendly and respectful attention of the staff pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant keen eye for originality of the decoration
I bought bunches of flowers and asked for vases which they immediately provided, whatever we asked, we always got a good answer and help. I liked the friendliness of the people (very important) but also the punctuality, very nice place to stay. The breakfast was included and was very nice and varied. We didn't have a meal there so cannot say anything about that. I found I could hear the conversations going on in the other room, which is not so nice. That is the only thing I found a pity. We have no complaints.
Hotel staff was very friendly. I got something to eat also out of the catering time (kitchen was regulary closed)
the location the noise coming from the road
The people were very kind and very helpful. The windows do not open properly.
Everything 100 % ok Only one small detail: watching tv not always confortable as the device could not be turned to the right or the left.
Beautifully renovated old farm house. Typical family run business, with very friendly family members The dinner was simple and typical for the region, yet the quality of the food was very average. The large dining room is very comfortable with centraly located fire place, though no fire despite chilly evening.
Good value for money, friendly welcome, clean and very relaxing environment
Very kind sraff, clean room, nice dinner and breakfast.
Staff were freindly and could speak acceptable or good english. The rooms were of a high standard. The hotel was in country surroundings.
We liked the country setting, the vast network of cycling paths and the ambience of the hotel - modern but comfortable. Since we were travelling with our teenage son, we booked a triple room, which turned out to be very large, much larger than comparable rooms in 4 star hotels which we have used in the past, so we were delighted at the degree of privacy this room afforded each of us. We chose to have our evening meals at the hotel, a no-choice set menu which was always attractively presented and well cooked. Judging by the numbers of guests, this was a popular hotel offering good quality accommodation at reasonable prices. When we return to the Netherlands, we hope to stay at Erve Bruggert again.
Extremely comfortable bed, good breakfast, warm welcome, beautiful surroundings
The hotel was lovely - our room was spacious and absolutely spotless.
Very comfortable and quiet. Lovely location. Very friendly and helpful staff
The hotel is in a nice setting, the rooms are excellent for families, the staff are very friendly.
comfort and a lot of space, very kind personnel a bit chilly in this time of year (April) but ok...
The staff is very polite and helpfull. There was no airco available. Opening the window does not help much during summertime.
Genuine old-fashioned Dutch hotel and hospitality. Set in a lovely location.
free internet old rooms - a bit noisy in the morning
pleasant surroundings, good location, friendly service OK for price but is not a 3 star hotel-no reception for late arrival, just bar
The hotel staff were hard working and provided the best service I have seen as yet in any hotel. Room price was a bit steep but then most things are expensive in Holland
helpfull friendly and smily service
very nice location aside the oldest watermill of the netherlands.
nice atmosphere, excellent choice of food, peaceful surroundings
Friendly staff, good food. Rooms were too hot.
Food was very good, quiet location
Staff/owners were very friendly, they were very helpful in providing bike storage space. They had also obtained information about a local event in which we were participating Room was very warm and while the breakfast selection was good there was no cereal
Absolutely first class, excellent service, very freindly staff. Comfortable rooms and good food. No cereal for breeakfast, but then thats a culteral thing.
Staff was very helpful in helping me find a camera store. The location is quiet and beautiful, just outside a small town. The dinner was excellent as was the service. Good, basic breakfast buffet. Dinner was a bit expensive but it came with many side dishes.
We like that the Hotel is at the country and we therefore prefer to stay ther with our dogs
