It is a small Hotel owned and run by two brothers - 2010 is teir 25th year in business. My colleague speaks a little French, but I only know a few words, and as the Menu was written in French, the owner took the time to explain the whole menu to us in English, and also made sure that we were understood by the other staff. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the food was excellent, I would definiutely stay here again.
easy and friendly athmosphere yet professional
Very clean hotel. Excellent staff, very helpfull, vey good breakfast. I would have liked a kettle to make a drink in our room.
They did not have a room availabel for 2 plus a small child so they put us in a suite. They were very accomodating. A very tight garage.
very comfortable, in the middle of the city. I stayed in the hotel because of a special price by booking over internet. Normally it is too expensive.
Location and staff Friendly staff
Nice spacious room, good comfortable bed, good breakfast
Location OK Room very hot. Laundry took 4 days to come back!!
I really enjoyed the Jacuzzi, It could have been a little hotter though.
It was a wonderful location, with easy parking across the street. It was a short walk to the Grand Place and the center of Mons. The room was attractive and cheerful.
Excellent location for access to Mons centre.Spacious modern spotlessly clean bedroom, and all other areas of the hotel likewise.Good buffet breakfast in comfortable modern room. Nothing to complain about, this is our 3rd visit. The hotel provides a no frills, but extremely comfortable stay in Mons.
It was a very good room, friendly owners and wonderful, tasty breakfast
Room only two years old; very clean; excellent breakfast of homemade farm items in their home; centrally located and owners very helpful to get you to where you want to go; free wireless internet worked great and loved the deck where you could sit in the sun and watch the animals It is a farm so you will have farm noises - roosters crowing early and sometimes the cats get in fights in the middle of the night
we only stay one day, and sleep ther
Ideally located in the heart of Mons; friendly, helpful and polite staff
very close to city centre and the staff were very polite and extremely helpful
great service and easy access room was a little too small...
Proximity to the centre of city. Limited breakfast choice.
Good functional room on a quiet area, very close to the Mons Grand Place Price was relatively expensive (for 3 star), since it did not even include breakfast.
Just simple, regular hotel. Breakfast very light (small choices)
location of hotel, friendliness and helpfulness of reception staff
very smart and stylish room with safe car parking. polite and helpful staff
good bed - good breakfast room and breakfast it would have been better to have fitted shower door rather than curtain
Close to city centre with parking Quite noisy from traffic as on the ring road
Staff is very nice & friendly, speaking english. Big bath, good heating. Thin walls, very noisy. My room was close to the entrance, but I guess in all rooms could be same noisy, as walls and door is very thin. Single bed is small, however it was ok for 1 night.
Room was nice, comfortable, in convenient location
Very noisy fan in bathroom! And no tea/coffee making facilities!
Very helpful staff. Lovely green outlook from our room.
location. friendly staff
near to grand place
Clean, big room. Polite and professional staff. Internet is not available in all rooms
Restaurant good. nice to have papers to read in both French and English
Very basic for the price - and miles from the Town Centre. Staff very helpful and friendly, but I will not stay there again - there are better quality hotels in Mons in a better location for more or less the same price.
Excellent location. Typical rooms. Very friendly staff.
The hotel was close to all local amenities and the breakfast was good value.
Good Parking Area, Good for access to Mons Centre and motorways
The most important for me was location in Mons. Ibis Mons Centre Gare have perfect location. Room was nice. Overbooking happen-but they should be more flexible. They offered room in other Hotel - but location was bad, so I agree to look at not cleaned room(I told that if the room will be ok I can change sheets, and towels by myself and it will be not a problem for me)- but they didn't want to agree for this. After 1h standing in front of reception desk, and when about 5 other guest talked with receptionist he went to the room clean it and I receive room at 1 A.M. So nice :/ it was possible from beginning - why I had to wait for this 1h in the middle of the night? For a finale price I had wait till morning. First discount it was 6 Euro ?!!! Even club partner paying less. It finished on 10 Euro - it's not much for room sold twice during one night.
The man at the reception desk was very helpful and spoke very good English. He changed our room immediately when we said that someone had been smoking in it, for which we were grateful. The bedroom was very comfortable as was the bed in particular. The garaging was very secure. The breakfasts were very expensive. It would have been nice to have had a choice of a 'full breakfast' or just a simple coffee and croisant. We had our breakfast in a local Cafe at a much reduced price to that which was offered by the Hotel.
we only booked at the last minute and the staff were very helpful. very comfortable room, with a lovely shower ensuite. we didnt bother with breakfast. not really. breakfast is usually included in the price but we didnt have time for it anyway.
It was very close to the train station and just down the hill from the main square of Mons. There was on site parking for five Euro a night which was well lit. The breakfast bar is typical continental and was above average. Like a majority of European hotels, no Air Conditioning and the occasional noise from motorcyle speeding in front of the hotel came into the room. A room facing towards the back parking lot would solve this problem.
Excellent food. ( dinner, not breakfast) Poor accommodation: dusty surfaces, grubby bedspread, fridge not plugged in. No staff at hotel overnight so had problems checking out before 10am. This is a restaurant with rooms attached.
The decor of the hotel was very nice and comfortable downstrairs in the restaurant. Was a shortage of staff at the time which made some things difficult to get sorted.
good parking with for large vehicles and a good restaurant bar - a very nice outside eating area Dirty rooms i.e. nail clippings on the carpet, door handle coming off in my hand, tile and panel coming off of bath, rough/worn towels, no soap or shampoo in rooms, no check out facility until 8am. I mention the above faults to be told we would have one night free but as there was no one on check out my crdeit card was charged for the full room price for my stay as the automated system stated that I didn't show up!
Great location, close to train station and at the bus station. Walking distance to the major sites. Many restaurants near by. The room was surprisingly clean and modern, not what you would expect from the outside or lobby. No elevator. It can be a difficult climb if you have luggage and are on an upper floor.
