We loved the architecture, furnishings and ambience. Especially the small details,Lots of sitting room and an opertational fireplace. It was nice to see art on the walls and especially local artists whose work was for sale..The owner was especially helpful with the internet. We needed to contact our business and couldn't make connections with our laptop so they lent us theirs. A brief but enjoyable stay One petty thing. A luggage rack would have been beneficial, especially for a one night stay.
Friendliness of staff and pleasant facilities nothing
The surroundings were fantastic, staff were very freindly, would highly recommend
nice hotel and very kind
The hotel was great: perfect room and nice staff. the village is very quiet
The personal attention from the owner Paula. Her help with sightseeing and restaurants to eat at. Especially good was her advice re the Saffron festival in the next town which we visited to our delight. We saw the ladies picking the stamens from the Crocus flowers then followed a lady at the Musuem to afield where we saw them picking the flowers
Absolutely wonderful! The house has been lovingly restored to a small hotel. Reservations will be essential in busier times. Food was excellent, staff very attentive. WIFI doesn't work but reception supplied a cable which worked fine,RJ45 in the room. Each room has a name, the house is furnished with turn of the century antiques, about a block to the center of town park for a stroll before... More signage to find it would be helpful-we asked the Guardia Civil and they gave us a police escort right to the door, very helpful, friendly guys.
The hotel facilities generally and in particular rooms that provided an "extra touch" to make the stay very comfortable and relaxing. Staff were always courteous and ready to assist with any needs. No
The restaurant evening meal The corridoors were shaby with stained carpets
Nice atmosphere some of the staff do not speak english
Location, not too far from downtown. Small rooms.
Excellent reception staff; comfortable reception areas and layout. Bathroom cleanliness not good. Bath had not been cleaned from previous client/s; old towel had been left in the bathroom and only one bath towel evident.
centrally located to town centre. quiet location. comfortable and warm rooms.
Nice sized room Hotel was out of the city center of Alcazar de San Juan and difficult to by walking. Streets are tough to navigate via car, and construction closed multiple roads.
Fascinating building, converted former convent. rooms plain but adequate. Public areas interesting with antiques & period detail Restaurant had stopped serving when we arrived late lunchtime on Sunday( but not particularly late for Spain) & it was closed in the evening- had to walk round town to find a restaurant
It was in a nice location. It was noisy in the evening because it looked at a street. The staff was nice but could not help. It was very hard to find the hotel because the map in the internet was not accurate and gps could not find it. We were helped by locals that took us there.
Employees were helpful. Quiet even though the hotel was on a main road. Nice park across the street. I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel I wished they had a vending machine. That´s it.
Clean and functional. Bedrooms very good Directions on web site. Would have been useful to have a couple of rooms with interconnection doors.
A clean, modern hotel suitable for overnight stay on your way to somewhere else. Lovely park opposite and easy walk to centre.
good location to explore the region, free parking available, friendly staff no
the swimming pool
everything! very good hotel and the staff is very hospitable! the breakfest is perfect! no
We're fully satisfied with the very clean, comfortable and large room with a reasonable price !
Nice indoors pool and jacuzzi. Friendly staff at the reception. Rooms were nice, though some furniture appeared to be scratched (normal wear and tear, though). Good value for money.
The food was excellent and the design and layout of the hotel was brilliant. The hotel was situated well and there was a beautiful park outside. The front of the hotel was quite plain
Luckily we were upgraded to a very comfortable suite of rooms of excellent quality. The extra large bed was most enjoyable with 'decent' pillows. Both the restaurant and room service menus surely needed to be in English like most hotels?
Friendly staff. Nice room.
The rooms are large, comfortable and clean with nice bathroom We arrived late at night and the receptionist kept our ID cards over night but failed to return them in the morning when we checked out. Unfortunately we realized that more than 100 miles away from the hotel...
It was not easy to find a hotel from where we could visit the Don Quixote windmills, but we found this quaint hotel. They gave us what may have been their best room with a balcony which held three flags - made us feel regal. Parking was secure in their garage. An excellent Spanish restaurant within walking distance and close by was a superb Chinese restaurant which the locals didn't seem to have discovered.
the hotel was good. The room was large and comfortable. I reserved secure parking and the hotel provided this. I would use this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone travelling to this area
Very nice staff The hotel allows smoking in the public areas which was very unpleasant
Location to old town. On site parking.
Excellent little hotel. The staff was helpful even if they spoke very little English. Very respectful staff. Recommend it highly. Parking was a plus. Very close to the center of town. Five minute walk to the center square. A true find.
we particularly enjoyed the staff, and the facilities. no,
the stuff tried hard wifi was not functioning
A comfortable hotel, clean and nice, good value for the price.
Nothing. . Noise from next door celbrations kept us awake until dawn.
Easy access on edge of town. Good view of sunset behind the windmills from our room. We did not have breakfast. It would have been helpful if we had been advised at time of booking that the restaurant would be closed even for residents. It was a Sunday but we had no difficulty on the other Sundays.
easy to find, ideal whilst touring on motorcycles. restaurant was closed, so ate in bar - ok, but limited. The town was unwelcoming and not for the tourist - ripe for re-development!
It was clean, comfortable and fair prices. It's outside of the city and not easy to find. But with GPS it's not a problem.
