Comfortable and quiet with excellent breakfast. Staff was knowledgeable and very helpful.
A remarkably motherly staff member made me especially comfortable with tea and care for my cold. Directions for operating parking were complicated.
Quaint hotel in the middle of the city. none
Cleanliness like always in Germany. Internet should be included in this class of a hotel. Breakfast pretty expensive.
Centrally located. Nothing but not a lot of english spoken on reception desk.
loved the room and service our family were made very welcome
location and quality of the hotel
the breakfast was amazing very good only i wish my e-mails were looked at
Great location, class act
Hotel location. Breakfast is too expensive (14 Euro), small parking.
Staff are kind and polite. Good restaurant with nice view. Easy access to castle. Room.
Staying right next to the Castle... we felt like we were Castle guests of one of the Counts of Wartburg in the 12th Century. Absolutely wonderful! Our room was fabulous with a great view and every amenity possible. We wished we could have stayed much longer. Leaving.
Views, Food, Castle Tour
Everything!!! Having to leave
Relaxed atmosphere and a unique location to explore the Wartburg. Outstanding restaurant added to the pleasure of the stay.
I enjoyed the perfect combination of history, beautiful location and very attentive service.
Location!!! And Views! And ambience!!! Lack of elevator would make it hard for older folk to make it up the stairs
The staff, the food, the setting the room everything really. No
Wonderfully located 100 meters from the Bach Haus. Was able to find free parking on a residential street 300 m from the hotel. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast room was quite historic looking and the breakfast was very good. Would stay here again based on proximity to the key downtown sites in Eisenach The free lot across the street doesn't hold many cars so I elected to search for free parking on a residential street 1 block away. That got me onto a very interesting street that I would have missed otherwise.
They failed on the wake up call
The staff was very helpful, the room large and bath very nice. nothing
Friendliness of personnel
Staff very helpful. Good breakfast. Location in Eisenach exellent. Garage parking. Not easy to find. We enjoyed our stay.
good breakfast choice and ambience. Room was large and clean and free parking in a lot across the street. Nice hotel made connection with the internet upon arrival but was unable to connect later in evening or in morning. I did not ask the hotel's assistance so they may have been able to assist?
Very freindly staff ,and very helpful which made our stay very pleasant ,Hotel was very close to town centre None !!
Parking garage available, friendly staff The curtain of my room was damaged (R 307)
Everything was great!
Very clean hotel-pleasant staff who could speak good english-excellent food served at night with wide variety of breakfast menu Car parking
Courteous, friendly and kind staff. Most helpful. A rather good library to while away time on a rainy day! There was absolutely nothing to find fault with.
Went to the medival festival
Very spacious and clean.
Large room Very clean None
Impressive restaurant. Good size room. Pleasant setting.
Excellent, friendly service, quiet location (yet close enough to Eisenach), very well kept and clean.
We had a great place to stay! We loved the resteraunt. We wished we could have stayed longer!!
everything the stairs to the third floor..nearly did us in ...should have a porter..
We stayed in an apartment that looked like it had been newly renovated. It was cozy and more than adequate. I felt like I could move in and just stay. The facilities were clean; fresh linens and very comfy beds. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities to be used to live in - except a dishwasher. It is a ways out of town; Eisenach and the return drive at night was very confusing. Guests should be sure to get clear directions before embarking on any car trips.
Apartment was not in category of a 4 star hotel, it was a holiday flat for family staying. We did not see the hotel part, maybe the hotel part would better fit to 4 ****. Otherwise fine.
location - outside town and needs a car
Room was very clean and quite -- large bathroom Location was out of town and in industrial area
convenience of location price of breakfast and the fact we had to order the buffet and not just tea and toast or something simple
Your staff was excellent The WiFi price was quite steep and our bathroom floor was dirty.
Staff was very helpful and very respondant to my requests for changes I required. Water pressure in the shower could of been better. I didn't care for the Rain Forest style shower head.
Location ( very quiet ) Dinner at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was fine.
Good hotel, nice staff, all of them speak proper English and so is the menu. Good food, good rooms. Elevator is bloody slow.
We arrived there very late and left early in the morning. The rooms were pretty nice, comfortable and modern.
Good Room, nice staff. Breakfast and Dinner high quality. Location excellent for automotive factory nearby. Nothing to dislike.
The hotel was modern and efficient. The view over the valley was exceptional. We only stayed one night, but our experience was very pleasant. We will stay again.
We did not expect much from this city hotel but were pleasantly surprised to find it to be a nice, clean, well-run hotel.
The comfort at the room and the excellent service.
Convenient and well priced
The hotel is very central in Eisenach and since it is a small city one can walk to almost everywhere. If one is adventurous and likes hikes one can even walk to the Wartburg. Though there are no signs to follow, just keep the famous Castle in sight and walk up mountain through a lovely wood. The hotel itself offers spacious rooms for European standard, spa, body treatment and a rich breakfast buffet with hot and cold meals. The design of the lobby is very cheerful and modern but cozy. I liked it. I would have liked to see a smiling and welcoming receptionist. The one we met appeared rather indecisive. If one tries hard one could have discovered a smile behind her preoccupation with having the check-in forms in order. However, she was helpful recommending restaurants and the bar maid later was more than cheerful. I didn't like the house maid knocking on our door 9.30 in the morning to see when we are leaving the room. As we were checking-out anyway it is clear that the room is free from 11am latest. Instead she could check with the reception whether the guest are checked -out instead of getting me out of the shower. (I was expecting our accompanying friends otherwise would not have left my morning indulgence)
We liked the location very nice views over the country side and the food was excellent. No menu's in English
Wonderful location with a stunning view to the Wartburg Castle. Nice restaurant with good outlook from the area used for breakfast. Good food. Well appointed room.
Beautiful surroundings, - calm and quietness.
Great facilities, great view towards the forest and the nearby castle. The restaurant is great. The road to the hotel was a bit steep and bumpy - the city could repair it. The staff did not speak too much English and it was hard to communicate. I forgot a sweater at the hotel room, and when I came back few hours later it was hard to explain to the staff what happened, simply because they didn't understand any other language but German. Hence, my sweater was not found.
Good position relative to the town and it was really quiet.
Most things, especially quiet location on edge of town Steep walk up and down from annexe for breakfast
4 bed room was in fact a small suite with two bedrooms with bath and a seperate lounge. Tapas bar in the hotel was very good the annex is about 300m away from the main hotel up a steep and narrow (one car width) road
Good spanish restaurant, friendly staff, wireless internet in rooms, indoor parking for cars, reasonable prices.
We had an exceptional time - the room was wonderfully laid out, and eating opportunities were very authentic!
False advertising...the hotel website advertised something called 'Luther Experience Days', though, these do not exist.
The room was small but very clean, with an excellent bathroom and shower. The food and service was great in the "Tapas Bar", the buffet breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The bed was rather small for two persons (possibly due to room size)and too soft for my personal liking.
nice spaceous rooms, nice restaurants. the booked appartment was 400m away, and not heated. We were offered two double rooms instead. The mentioned spa is in another place as well... All not exactly as advertised.
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Be sure that if you are traveling by train you phone upon arrival and they will pick you up from the station. The hotel is charming though the rooms are quite small and ours was noisy at night as it faced the back and was just above where the employees gathered on their breaks. The breakfast buffet was very good and the sun room in which we ate was lovely. Don't miss the local car museum and the hike up to the famous castle.
great atmosphere, wonderful breakfast and helpful staff; wireless connection greatly appreciated; pilows too soft (and to few) and the split doona idea is not a good one - a blanket would have been appreeciated on a cool September night. We had heavy bags so would have liked a lift, but we recognise that in an older building that's not always possible.
The breakfast was excellant. It would be helpful if the hotel would advertise single beds in their double rooms.
Good location(near Main Station and down town)
both dinners which serve in hotel are very nice and valuable best location I feel uncomfortable because the mirror is opposite side of the bed,
Extraordinary value. Pleasant staff. High standards of comfort. Excellent Internet connection (free). Excellent buffet breakfast. Convenient parking. Convenient location. I am fussy about hotels; but I liked this one very much. Nothing I would criticise.
the staff were very friendly it was hard to get about with the babys pram as they only have 1 small lift problems getting up and down stairs.the breakfast was very poor value
Friendly Staff Bedroom had been used by a smoker
Modern building, convenient for town centre Choice of items for breakfast limited for a 4**** hotel.
the staff were very helpful when we locked our car keys in the car! free use of a computer was most welcome - all hotels should do it.
Very good breakfast and staff very helpful.
It was easy to walk to the train station and it was convenient to the downtown The lighting in the hallways was poor.
Room and bathroom were cold
the rooms were clean, staff helpfull and friendly, comfy beds
lovely friendly helpfull staff not to pleased about being served a hot apple juce for a baby???
Very good , safe and free car parking. Free unlimited WLAN. Adjacent to "undiscovered" memorial site of synagogue destroyed around Kristallnacht. Local to "Netto"; simple walk to town. Minutes drive to Wartburg Castle , close to Bad Sooden Allendorf Grenzmuseum (West/East Germany border site) and Erfurt,Gotha, Weimar, Buchenwald etc. Enjoyed "DDR" vista of this part of Eisenacht but some people may not like view of railway ( no noise). Hardly a romantic location but a good, comfortable base.
Central location to sites we visited
24 hour reception, good breakfast, nice bar, clean rooms. A good choice. Food was only ok in evening and service was a little slow.
Rooms clean; staff professional and courteous; breakfast great N/A
personalised service, small but very well located hotel, great breakfast (more choice than in any of the 4 hotels we had been to before around Europe on our Europe trip despite staying in 3-5 stars, including a top hotel in Berlin), very accommodating (made breakfast an hour earlier as we needed to leave early and charming receptionist gift-wrapped all purchases from hotel shop individually for me)- Good restaurant for dinner- Next to Lutherhouse, great location, central, yet calm- Management that cares about their hotel and their guests was evident, which is rare these days!!! Decor in the rooms could be updated, but bed was comfortable and all that was offered was really very carefully thought out-
the resturant was very good they did not read my e-mail regarding extra bed and cotthey did not inform us of the extra chargeswork out to be a very expensive staywill not use agai i prefere the Steigenberger Hotel Thüringer Hof the best stay so far and will be back there next month
the centre town location, beautiful town with lots of history, safe parking, very good hotel restaurant can be noisy at weekends due to cars on cobble road
The accommodation is excellent- breakfast gets better each day! As there is no dining room, it would be good to have facility for tea/coffee
the wonderful position of the hotel, right on the edge of the lake and in the centre of town. Ample parking available. Even though the room did not have a view of the lake the view of the old houses was nice.
Exhibition time, so prices were very high all around. Staff were very friendly and afterall the hotel fullfilled my needs properly. All Ok, except the price, ´cause of timing.
Our room overlooked the lake. The scenery was lovely. We enjoyed walking around the area and into the village square.
Easy to park (private parking available). Quiet and calm. Very nice breakfast, extremely good value for money No remark, for a 3 star hotel it definitely exceeded my expectations.
Room comfort, breakfast TV too small
Located in a beautiful small town, near the lake! Not far from Wartburg castle (UNESCO World Heritage). Lovely atmosphere of neighboring residential quarter. The breakfast was better than in 3 other more expensive hotels during my trip in Germany. Toiletry kit is not complete.
I booked for 35 euro (breakfast included), they asked for 45 euro (35 + 10 euro for breakfast)
We stayed in a triple and it was very spacious. Additionally, the room is lakeside and the views are beautiful.
Free parking inside hotel, location on lake shore, fairly large room, good breakfast, great value no proper curtains so not enough darkness, narrow beds
We had a cottage separate from the main house. It was charming with a cozy interior and a small patio. Neighborhood of many old mansions.
Very nice breakfast, big bathroom. Room was in the basement, it would have been nice to have a view. If you have not very recently updated your navigation system, it is best to call for route instructions because Eisenach has a new motorway.
We where allocated the “garden house”. When you can cope with cluttered eccentricity, then, this is for you, manoeuvre your way through the over-the-top furnishing and you will love this “Unique Inn” centred in fascinating Eisenach. Both charming Hr: Bomberg & Frau Renate Bartholome warmly welcome their guests. Ask for a recommendation to dime out in one of the local eateries. An great breakfast. The garden house is cluttered.
the houselord is very friendly and helpful, the house is in a nice environment and ver yquiet
The stuff was exclusively polite. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the city.
The hotel was situated perfect for our visit - Bach and Wartburg. We could regrettably not dine at the hotel - too many guests for dinner.
Family run and a very clean and modern facility. It was very quiet. They spoke English. We felt safe and secure. The breakfast was excellent. Bar and dining room offered everything we desired. There was an elevator if needed. And they had secure parking behind the hotel. Didn't have WiFi.
helpful and flexible staff, good but simple rooms, very typically German - quality and solid value for money would have been nice to have some shampoo / shower gel
The hotel was ideally located for our purposes -- which were to visit the Bach House Museum and other Bach-related places in the city. The hotel is walkable from the Bahnhof, but one does have to walk up a rather large hill to get to the hotel. If you have a lot of baggage that could be a problem. Staff and food were very good.
We liked that it was run by a family and the breakfast was good and included. We also could eat at the resturant below if we desired. It was quaint and had what we needed.
Great central location to the town. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were clean and very large. It is located right across the street from Bach's House.
Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was really good - local sausages, fresh fruit, wonderful breads - I could go on! There was a heat wave and high humidity during our trip. The rooms had no air conditioned and the open windows didn't catch any breeze.
The friendly staff, central location , good breakfast, with pently of room to park across the street. Wit would be nice to have air conditioned, even with 2 windows opened was hot.
Friendly staff, clean and quiet room, excellent bed, good breakfast
Hotel Bachhaus is a small hotel conveniently situated in the centre of Eisenach and provides a typically german experience. The car parking is limited.
Easy to locate and very convenient next to the railway station (and bus station). Short walk to town centre. Friendly welcome at reception desk and at breakfast. Rather basic bedroom, no shampoo, no hairdryer.
the hotel was clean and comfortable near to the station but our room at the back was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. We loved Eisenach it is abeautiful place with easy access to the surrounding countryside. The hotel looks a bit run down from outside but the amenities have everything you need.
Its excellent position and good value
The hotel was situated close to the town centre, within walking distance as well as close to the train station. Several pamphlets were available as well as a map to help us with sightseeing. The room was basic but evidently recently redone. It was clean.
Proximity to railway station.
This hotel is located very close to the station of Eisenach. It´s an easy walk to the old town. You can walk to the main attractions including the Automobile museum. The rooms are celan and the breakfast is very good.
It was very clean and nicely decorated, comfortable beds and quiet since we were not on the street side and on the fourth floor. Breakfast included and good. Parking place reserved by hotel was a little hard to find. Smoking area in the foyer disturbing when one first enters the hotel.
There was no air conditioning as I was lead to believe by your company discription of the hotel.
Friendly, helpful staff, convenient to the train station. Good breakfast buffet. I would have liked to have had access to a wi-fi connection.
It was directly near the train station, and minutes away from the city center and shopping area. You get what you pay for. Nothing exciting, a bed, a room, tv, and a shower. Did not have WLAN internet as the internet said.
