Directions to the Parador clearly marked on road signs though it was out of town. Good breakfast spread. Check in clerk spoke no English. Fortunately, a fellow guest could translate what we asked. Also the air-conditioning was not working. Had to open the window to cool room down or else too hot to sleep. Hotel looks a little rundown and tired as well
Its location Rseteraunt menu
the restaurant - really good guality gourmet kitchen with good price. All products were of high quality. breakfast had everything - really good selection! the bathroom very well equipped. many details that even 4* hotels do not have (this hotel had 3*) like for example chocolate -gift of 'good night' in the room. the personal accompanies you to the room taking your luggage at arrival.. Free and large parking area (with roof). Fantastic views over the village and the castle. I really do not understand why this hotel only has 3* - it should have 5* :)
Beautiful hotel in wonderful surroundings.Nice outdoor area with swimmingpool.Castle nearby in walking distance.Easy to find by car, close to main road.
Great room. Dinner did not start until 9:00 pm. Would have appreciated accommodating for people who are not from Spain.
A good Parador with typical historic decor situated on a hill looking across to the castle. The castle was a pleasant suprise and a must to visit, with a keep to climb, a good museum and a church to explore all for free! The hotel is isolated so has a 'captive' audience if you donot want to drive to a bar and restaurant. Room prices were fair for a Parador but the bar and restaurant was expensive.
Comfortable room, excellent service, pleasant surrounsings, and the hotel has character, unlike many modern hotels. Prices for food and wine were high, by spanish standards, although that was expected.
