Pros: The breakfast was great, with fresh fruits and pastries along with hard boiled eggs. Plenty to choose from, and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Also, one lady who was working in the evening took the time to hand deliver a sandwich to my husband, who was hungry after the dining room had closed. And of course he enjoyed it immensely.
Cons: We were told we had a private bathroom, but there was some else who was clearly sharing the bathroom with us. We were a bit surprised.
Pros: It was a historic castle with great staff. It was the best place we stayed in Denmark
Cons: Ducks quacking
Pros: Sleeping in the castle felt like quite a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The interior was amazing and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: Sleeping in the historic room was truly an experience to remember; however the good amount of old textiles made the air quite thick even if we kept the windows open the whole night.
Pros: Beautiful castle with an excellent restaurant
Pros: The location is wonderful. The lounges for coffee in the afternoon are huge, and spectacular with old historic furnitures
Cons: System error by booking.com meant, we got rated downwards. Very small room, no wifi, and not in the castle. Disappointed… and only a bit cheaper - 1 day in advance notice :(
Pros: Staying at Broholm Castle was a lovely experience. The castle and grounds are beautiful. We had a delicious dinner and fine breakfast. The room was pretty and comfortable. There was tea in the manor house in the afternoon and an amazing little museum.
Pros: What an experience for our grandsons! We enjoyed exploring the castle and sleeping in rooms which had the feeling of very long-time family furnishings. The castle seems to have been left for the enjoyment of hotel guest by an active, interesting, trusting, prolonged family history. A great experience!
Pros: Breakfast was great. Setting of the castle was wonderful. Experience the small museum at the rear of the castle.
Cons: Ongoing challenge with smells from the septic system.
Pros: Gorgeous castle in a splendid location with excellent service and wonderful meals!
Pros: Beautiful setting with a lot of history. Our room was beautifully furnished. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and overall a lovely time. We will be back another time!
