Very attentive personal. Quietly place. Good bed and pleasant breakfast. Very convitient that they have a tonnel to a spa.
The wonderful friendly atmosphare and attention I received from staff as well as the owner himself! The flair of being put back in time! The views into the park. The favourable location! The access to the Roman baths. Just everything! Just a little noisy at times, as every sound re-bounces on the tiled floor. The music, specially at night time when coming home, was too loud, it really should be more soft in my opinion. But the choice of music was very good!
Hotel facilities very far from those required for a 4 star hotel. No refrigerator in the room, no air conditioning, no luggage ramp. Used carpet an furniture, poor breakfast, difficult internet connection, useless staff. Much too expensive. Definitely not stay here again.
Big , shiny room, very elegant breakfast, accompanied by soft music. The hotel is connected to a spa and we received towels and shower robes from the reception. Behind the hotel, there are beautiful path through the woods, for those interested in biking
For Baden, the location is excellent: extremely quiet location with beautiful gardens all around yet minutes to everything. A perfect oasis. The building itself is grand: the pictures are exactly as it is. The attentiveness of the staff to our questions was superb. For English-speaking travellers, this is a bonus. We highly recommend Villa Gutenbrunn, especially to mature travellers wanting a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of European cities or those who like to combine hiking with sightseeing. A wide range of walks, short and long, can be accessed directly from the hotel. This is truly a unique hotel in a beautiful place. Our room in particular (room 221) was extremely gracious. As Australians, we would have liked tea and coffee making facitlies in the room.
overall relaxed ambience and sense of space and local history, very pleasant breakfast, and ready access to the spa facilities next door ( however see comments in next section) noting that the hotel is physically connected to the spa next door, and the cost of the hotel, suggest that 'complimentary' access ( say, once per day per person) to the spa facilties be included in the tariff
Hotel staff were great. Breakfast was good. Pride of owner in making sure everyone was well cared for, went out his way for us. none
The staff were amazing - friendly, efficient, helpful. The spa services (while expensive) were so luxurious that we still felt value for money, And the food was fantastic!
the location room was very small and not like the photp displayed
Services The smell of the pillows and bed lingeries is terrible. Change the pillows.
The location of the hotel is perfect - there is a huge park with a rosarium just in front of it, the interior of the hotel and the rooms is excellent, the staff is extremely helpful and the spa is wonderful and empty! The bathrooms could be bigger (in the superior room it is rather small), bit this is not something the hotel can actually change; the breakfast could include fresh juices
very polite and helpful staff at the hotel, excellent spa area, substantial breakfast No,
Great pampering hotel, most facilities free, beautiful location including gardens, amazing breakfast. Large room with bath and shower and french doors opening onto balcony with chairs.Close to town with good local restaurants. Mineral baths in town good and open late. Restaurant menu in the evening was unappetising to us so we went into town. We noticed the restaurant was almost empty and it was expensive.
The spa! It was a new facility and just lovely. The staff were great. The grounds were pretty and adjacent to a fabulous rose garden. The rooms were not as clean as I want. The bath had a shower but was not really designed for one and water sprayed everywhere. The rooms looked as though they had been well used since they were renovated. Most guests and staff smoked a lot so it was hard to get away from cigarette smoke, although our room thankfully was a non-smoking room.
Very nice Chateaux, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice clean rooms The possitive comments are far more important than this downsides, but maybe they can wrk at these remarks. To little parking place. During our stay there was a storm and many shutters were slaming whole night long. Something the staff could check in the future.
The wonderful park insidwe position. Absence of diet and child's menu. The restaurannt is in general inadequatly expensive.
The staff was really nice. Even though Christina messed up our booking, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and gave us un upgrade (a suite instead ob a superior room). Breakfast was great. The hotel location is very good - close to the center of Baden, but still far away enough to be able to escape. The rosarium and Doblhoffpark are very pretty. The person who confirmed our reservation. She confirmed that we would have a room in the old building with a balcony. Upon arrival, we were told that Christina should have known better... there was no such room available due to a wedding. After we told the nice receptioninst that this was our wedding anniversary weekend and we specifically booked the 'old' room, she made a couple of calls and gave us a suite - in the new building. The plus is that the new building is air conditioned and was very quiet.
everythink, especially the staff
Excellent hotel. The location is great (near Wien , near SCS - Shopping Center Sud, Seegrotte ..etc) .The personal is also at the highest level.
the hotel has nice rooms and is situated in a quiet aerea
Nice hotel although clearly a small village hotel. Extremely nice staff. In general a nice friendly small village hotel with good facilities and the skill to make you immediately feel welcome. Main less positive points to mention was the small problems by the reception not being able to communicate fully in English (but together we managed without problems). Other thing is the absence of air conditioning. Also, being as small, village there is not much to do or to discover. At the same time train station with direct short connection to Vienna (and free parking at the back of station in new parking garage) is nearby in Mödling.
I was in the hotel for only one night. I came late, 8PM and left tomorrow morning 9AM. Although I was in the hotel for a very short time I was impressed with the warm hospitality, excellent service and very nice accommodation. After my very exhausting trip on that day, arriving in a hotel Beethoven was exactly what I needed. Hotel is located in a quiet area with residential private houses, there are practically not at all traffic and therefore it was very nice choice for me to rest and prepare for the next day. Friendly personal, fluently speaking English, big room, clean, nice furniture, clean and big bathroom, nice breakfast. I will for sure come again and next time I’ll plan to stay few nights more.
The Hotel is situated in a pretty village close to Vienna. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was clean and modern with free and reliable internet access.
God breakfast buffé and beautiful suroundings. Very good for a relaxing weekend Maybe they should have earplugs in the bathroom because it was party at the Casino next door every evening...you did hear the music but it was ok
The location across the wonderful Kurpark and only blocks from the City Centre. Very pleasant staff and good selections at the breakfast buffet. some technical problems..small...need service.
Very good location for visits to Vienna. Beautiful village within the vintage area.
It's very relaxing and away from the busy city centre as well as next to lots of wine yards, which is a major plus! The hotel staff is very polite and friendly as well. I will come back here again! None whatsoever.
Staff was extremely helpful. Ac was a blessing in a 2,000 year old town. Breakfast was beautiful every morning. Rooms were spacious and clean as were the bathrooms. Everything an American would want in a hotel. Location could not be beat anywhere ine the Vienna Woods area of Lower Austria. Twenty minutes to Vienna. Would go back again and again. Thank you Hotel Turmhof.
Very welcoming, very helpful and efficiently run.
Great location - close to Vienna - and in a lovely town with vineyards. Very helpful staff.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, who took wonderful care of us and our dog. Excellent breakfast. Great location right next to the vineyards and a (national) park, with marked walking trails. Several cosy restaurants nearby serving homemade meals.
The service was excellent. The staff was absolutly lovely.
The personal was very nice and the facilities are OK The acces to the facilities was not easy ( you must notice the personal to acces the facilities ) and it was a little bit cold in the room .
The staff speaks good English, is warm & hospitable. The rooms are nice, the parking was free and no problem at all. The location is not too far from the airport and not too far from the city, so works well for both directions. The sauna is OK, the jacuzzi is good (more than OK). The breakfast is rather limited, while all the produce was high quality I found it lacking in choice I'm accustomed to. The Turkish bath next to sauna doesn't get hot enough & therefore is useless. The gym where you can go is about 10 minutes driving from the hotel, for me that was too much -- if you plan to stay, plan ahead on the distance.
I slept really well . great bed in a quiet room just a stroll from Perchtoldsdorf center Parking a bit difficult to find not a real problem
The staff was great and the rooms where comfortable. Very close to Vienna and Vineyards. No air conditioning. Probably not and issue except in August.
Nice little hotel in a little village nearby vienna. Pretty landscape, good breakfast. Perfect for citytrips when you don´t want to stay in the middle.
location, not very clean
The surroundings were spectacular.
Austria Trend Hotel Bock was for us a very pleasant surprise. Much more then we expected. This is not just a simple hotel to go and sleep, this is a real touristic resort with an excellent location. Everything was perfect:accomodation, meals. The staff was very very polite and correct. I have travelled a lot, I was the guest of many hotels worldwide and I can say this hotel has something special. There is nothing to be subject for a complaint. Austria Trend Hotel Bock is excellent.
Close to railway station. I found the staff to be very firendly and generally liked being there - it felt safe as someone on your own. They charged me for breakfast I did not have - and I was not sure about this until my return. There was no good explanation of what the facilities were on my arrival, for example I had to have a torch to find my key hole to open my room until I found a corridor light later in my stay that made things much easier (you needed this even in the daylight).
At least it was fairly inexpensive! Definitely not a 4-star hotel. The staff is not helpful in recommending anything in town or giving directions for major attractions, the beds were uncomfortable, the hotel was pretty far away from town, the roads surrounding it kept confusing my gps so much that getting to the shopping center parking lot was nearly impossible and signs were equally confusing. The restaurant was closed, and there was nothing to tell us it would be closed. Only one good employee in the whole hotel. If not for him, we would have nothing to eat as getting back into the city so late was not an option.
The location and services. Peoples were a bit rude according to american standard.
Good value for the accomodations.
hotel staff Everythink is ok. My suggestion: make menu and other infos in English. I saw that your guests are very international.
The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast, although expensive, was good, a lot of choices, freshly baked rolls and bread even on Saturday and Sunday. We wanted to use the sauna but it was out of order. The receptionist suggested that we go to another hotel (free of charge). Not all staff was friendly.it was too far from downtown Vienna.
Good Location and interesting price. Close to the most important business area in the south-west of Vienna. The restaurant was not open in the evening. It was reserved for the event members only!! A pity for a hungry person having travelled all day, having to find another restaurant.
clean, confort, good for the money
Good location, reasonable price, nice people, good breakfast (but more hot food is welcomed). fixed time of check-in in Sunday was not convenient.
poor breakfast, no AC, it was hot, windows were open and moskitos were flying in
Clean, calm and quiet. I reccomend it especially to the driving travellers who need an overnight stop "at the gates" of Wien. There's no restaurant in the hotel (there is one 1 km away)
Position [close to SCS about 7 km]. Services, room comfort. Good value for money
It was in Baden where they have a nice swimming-pool/spa centre 10 min.s by car from hotel. But that had nothing to do with my hotel... The room smelled old and not clean. All furniture was from at least 30 years ago and kept i brown and brown. There was no staff at reception - and no reception at all. Had to call to advise I could not find anybody. Door was open, so you could go in. But no staff! I had advised to be arriving around 20. I came at 19.30 and would have expected an e-mail saying that there is no reception.
our staying on Amdeus pension was just perfect...just like visiting your family...what you want you will get for sure
very kind and friendly. quiet atomosphere. smells a bit in bathroom
Nice and pleasant hosts, nice garden, tasty breakfast.
I was only there for a night on my way to fly home but it is an outstanding facility, an excellent location, large room, really friendly helpful staff, wonderful breakfast, I would love to have spent more time.
The kindness of the personnel!
The staff was most efficient and friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and make their guests comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the selection and presentation were very well done.
The owner of the pension is very friendly and helpful. During the third night there was no heating at all, so the temperature in the room was not really comfortable.
The place was really nice, and Joanna was very friendly. I had a great time in Amadeus - it's located in a very pleasant district with lots of neat houses. You can walk around and gaze at them. Amadeus is very close to ruines, I liked walking in the forest - it's so relaxing! But you need to spend around 20-30 minutes to get to winter termal baths and town center.
Wonderful warm welcome. First time we were offered tea on arrival on this trip. Immaculate facilities. Also very large suite. Variety and quality of breakfast was first rate. None
