Pros: The place is lovely. Very fresh, new, clean. Friendly people.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Pros: Spotless! Tastefully decorated and maintained! Great hosts, they us omelet at 11pm! Good sleep and breakfast
Cons: Breakfast was all there, but it was barely enough. Felt relictant to ask for more.
Pros: The staff was so kind The diner cooked by the man was excellent The big bathroom
Cons: The dangerous stair (no fence)
Pros: Breakfast was great, lots of variety and plenty of it. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Would have no hesitation recommending this property.
Pros: Nice room
Cons: Poor breakfast
Pros: Over all an very nice stay and good food
Pros: Totally renewed and nice owners. We booked room with 2 queen bed and we got a lot of space for 2 people. We recommend the place highly. Nice located by the road and only 25 minutes to nearest town.
Pros: A very nice bedroom and a big bathroom! A great dining room for the breakfast. La chambre est bien insonorisée, très agréable.
Pros: Lovely place, and the owners were very friendly. Room was large and comfy. Food was great, as was the view.
Cons: Would have been great to have somewhere to put a bag to open it.
Pros: Staff was super friendly!
Pros: Staff were very friendly and location is great just off the main road but far enough not to be troubled by any traffic. Swimming pool was very good, gym adequate. Room (we had 106, which is a dog friendly room) is very good size and very near to side exit, which is good for dog walks. The bathroom is on the small side but space was used well and great shower. It was great that we were able to use the free tea/coffee facilities in the loony and enjoy it with our dog being allowed in the public areas. Dinner was a buffet (NOK 300/each), which has a great selection of cold meets and fish and some salads. Warm dishes were, as hotel was quiet, just two. Lasagne and fish and chips. Both tasty. Breakfast buffet was very good with some local items.
Pros: The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was decent.
Cons: No refrigerator in the room.
Pros: Great Buffet spread
Pros: Location Pool Service
Pros: The food was delicious!
Cons: The shower had a little leak and water got on the floor of the bathroom
Pros: Maybe not the most scenic hotel in Norway, but a good location along the E134. Very pleasent room with a nice and spaceous bathroom. Comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast! Also an amazing dinner could be added for (at the time) 300 NOK - which was very well worth it!
Cons: I visited with motorbike and the driveway up to the hotel was covered in a bit of gravel and the parking space the signs referred me to was a gravel lot - which felt a bit conserning and a bit unsafe for motorbikers.
When you stay at Nutheim Gjestgiveri in Seljord, you'll be in the mountains and 13 minutes by car from Seljord Church. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great atmosphere, great food, great scenery!
Cons: A little noise from passing traffic, but this will change once the new tunnel opens later this year.
Pros: Breakfast was exceptional and the location just perfect. We stayed 1 night at the chalet and liked the time we spent there, thought we found it more "rustic" than it looked when doing the reservation.
Cons: Everything was great and there is nothing we did not like. Note, however, that the chalets are actual Norwegian storehouses re-furnished to be used as apartments; as I said, we liked our stay, but found the chalet more "rustic" than it looked from the pictures, which was anyway fine for us. I would probably recommend a regular room in the main building for those who prefer a more classic hotel stay.
Pros: Historic place. Beautiful view. Lovely meal.
Cons: Poor ventilation in the restaurant and room. No hooks to fix the windows in open position.
Pros: Friendly staff.Good but expensive dinner
Cons: Mattress a bit worn Room a bit worn
Pros: The location is amazing, offering a great view of the valley right from the room window. Stuff is super friendly and the building is as well very artsy, even having it's own art gallery in the basement. Serving it's very own home-brew beer was also a big plus. So great place overall!
Pros: We enjoyed our stay. We also ate dinner here which was excellent. However, there was no choice of main course so be aware of this if you do not eat everything
Cons: Maybe giving some dinner choices
Pros: Very romantic, clean, beautiful
Pros: Nice stay, great breakfast, lovely staff
Pros: Lovely hosts and great dinner. One of us had a fall and hosts were extremely helpful with finding medical services.

Pros: It was very nice and clean room. The area is very nice.Room had small kitchen. It was perfect for our trip.
Pros: Location and the size of appartement for 2-3 persons
Cons: More noice from afterski than exepected.
Pros: Lovely place in a beautiful location.
Pros: Everything greate place
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the beautiful place. I highly recommend it!

Pros: A very nice hotel with stunning views. Comfy beds, excellent evening buffet and nice breakfast. Really friendly and helpful staff. Recommend this hotel.
Pros: It was clean, had a great bed and a lot of amenities
Cons: We visited in May - which is the shoulder season. Nothing outside the hotel was open.
Pros: View from the window. Nice room. Good hiking opportunities. Swimming pool, sauna on the lake.
Pros: The location couldn't be better, beautiful view from our room. Great selection of food in the buffet for both breakfast and dinner.
Cons: No kettle in the room, food from the buffet was removed while we were still eating, check out too early
Pros: Location, view from room to Gaustatoppen (on request), interior, design, staff, access to hiking in neigbourhood. Staff is very welcoming and responsive. All prior requests from booking were met. The resort area is in general undergoing major urban developments, and may run a risk of being more crowded in years to hope. Hope it will maintain its authenticity as a mountain resort.
Cons: No free seating for breakfast was a bit odd. We were placed in far end of the main room that had not been cleaned from dinner the evening before.
Pros: Stunning location, comfortable and clean room. Excellent food, prompt and pleasant staff. Well maintained hotel, the evening pianist was a delight as was the display of photos on the walls in the bar area.
Cons: Minor complaint- the shower pressure is poor.
Pros: Good food, fresh made bread and very nice priced wine.
Cons: early end of dinner, nine. We arrived 21.05
Pros: In a fantastic location. Views from room exceptional. Superb rooms. All great.
Cons: Hotel only had Buffet dinner available. OK for one night may be, but an a la carte menu should have been available as well. NOK 465.00 (£ 46?) per person for an evening meal (the buffet) was felt to be a bit over the top. Ended up with an evening meal for two costing NOK 1300 (£130?)
Pros: We have been here several times. Twice we've brought family members along. Everyone enjoys this place, young and old. A very comfortable lodge with spectacular views and a friendly, service-minded staff and excellent food. With an indoor pool and both alpine skiing facilities and cross-country skiing available right outside the door. Gaustatoppen is beautiful at every time of year, and is challenging enough for those who like to hike and climb. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. There is always plenty of fresh mountain air here as well, since it lies 1000 meters over sea level. This is a family-friendly place with plenty to do for children of all ages. Three generations of our family were gathered there on our last visit, from 17 months old to 70 years old, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: Great breakfast. I made the booking last minute, late in the night and had completely no problem to check in. Gaustatoppen view.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. I highly recommend it!
Cons: No complaints on this trip.
Pros: The location of our room facing Gaustatoppen was stunning. Our room was clean and had lots of storage space. It was very quiet and peaceful on our deck and we had a great time
Cons: During the time that we were at the hostel, late May, things were only just starting to open up for the season. There wasn't much choice in places to eat nearby so we ended up having to drive to the town of Rjukan 20 or so minutes away.
Pros: The views from the cabin were amazing, the location was fantastic, so green and beautiful, surrounded by nature and very peaceful. The place was very clean. There was a shared kitchen that was well equipped and had an amazing view of Gaustatoppen. Excellent value for money!
Pros: similar to a mountain hut but with all comforts. great common kitchen with all you need to cook. usefull drying room for boots
Cons: the only showers are those in common with sauna facility
Pros: Amazing location, large and clean room
Pros: The property is located by a lake in between the most beautiful mountains. The place is clean and cozy with affordable breakfast and dinner options. The staff is very accommodating and nice. There is a full equipped and cozy shared kitchen if you want to cook your own food.
Cons: We had to let the chef know before 11 am if we were dining in the evening and before 7 pm if we were eating breakfast. Early checkout (10 am) and late checkin (4 pm). Other than that, I can highly recommend the place.
Pros: The view
Cons: Rather basic for the price. No choice for the evening meal.
Pros: Great breakfast, possibility for late arrival.

Pros: They where very flexible with check out and restaurant timings. Both day and night staffs where very very good.
Pros: The atmospher and emploi was excellent.
Cons: There was no aircondition in the bathing room.
Pros: Seljord Hotel is situated in an old and cozy building. The straff was friendly and the room was renovated and very nice. The bathroom was not renovated lately, but OK. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choices. I really enjoyed it! Dinner on the terrace was a pleasure.
Pros: The kitchen. Food was very good. Excellent chef.
Cons: Overprized shabby hotel. No service. Staff seemed like they had no interest in having guests.
Located in Tinn, Skinnarbu Nasjonalparkhotell is just steps from Hardangervidda National Park Centre and 4 minutes by foot from Skinnarbu Lake Park. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The open fire in the lounge was very welcome as it was a cold, wet and miserable day when we arrived. All the staff were very helpful and friendly although they were clearly very busy.
Cons: Our bedroom was cold when we arrived and took a good time to warm up. I was surprised that our double room was actually a twin with the beds pushed together - especially when they also moved apart during the night! I was disappointed that there was only a set 3 course meal available for dinner as there were quite a few guests, however all the food was very good. There seemed to be very few staff on duty at one time - one of the restaurant staff (waiters) checked us in and the 2 restaurant waiters were extremely busy serving all the guests. I presume our visit was during what you would call the shoulder season between the winter and summer high seasons - and it showed!
Pros: Beautiful Location, Very friendly and helpful staff
Located in Rjukan, Park Hotel Rjukan is a 2-minute drive from Rjukanbadet and 8 minutes from Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Limited parking is available onsite.

Pros: Good Good
Cons: Very high price - low standard Terrible beds - should have been replaced years ago No parking
Cons: Broken shower in both rooms booked. Broken window blinds in both rooms booked.
Pros: Clean and comfortable beds, good location and breakfast.
Cons: We had two rooms. Room 1 had broken shower head, big gap between wall and bath. Broken blinds, missing sections on them. Kettle didn’t work! Room 2. TV and kettle didn’t work. Broken blinds missing sections. No sealant around bath causing water to find its way to the floor and soak cloths.
Pros: Nothing stands out to like apart from the position of the hotel.
Cons: Tiles missing from Bathroom floor which is a health hazard. Very small towels. Bed smelt Room smelt No suitcase stand
Pros: Good place to stay in this little town.
Cons: Dirty rooms, poor service, mediocre breakfast, a lot of noise from the hillbillies outside by the Kebab shop
Pros: Nice location in the middle of the town. Friendly staff, however one waiter in the restaurant hardly spoke any English and I don't speak Norwegian. Window was wide open when I got to the room.
Cons: Could have been cleaner, shower small and slippery, toilet was making funny noises all night.
Located in Rjukan, Rjukan Gjestehus is a 2-minute drive from Rjukanbadet and 9 minutes from Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Liked the fridge in the room. In bufee Breakfast there was lot to choose from.
Cons: There was sock smell in the room that was very overpowering.
Cons: The check in is in another building, making it quite tricky for the first time visitor. For the weary visitor who has just done Gaustoppen, it can be slightly frustrating to do the short walk to get to the check in counter.
Pros: Historical interesting City.
Cons: The staff was not overwhelming interested in you. We had booked 1 extra night but they forgot it and we couldn't get innside. The big garbage place was filled up but wasn't cleaned. Dirty smell.
Pros: Good location and little kitchen inside the room which I wasn’t expecting. Comfortable bed and clean shower and toilets.
Cons: A bit too expensive for what it was.
Pros: Big room , shame because the town lovely and the sister hotel the Parkwhere we had evening meal was excellent food and brilliant staff.
Cons: Grotty building, the smell in corridors horrible ,very basic and well over priced .
Pros: Breakfast was served at Park Hotel, from there, in the rain, it was just a few steps to the bus stop. Accommodation was quiet and clean.
Cons: Perhaps I hadn't read the small print well enough but I was unaware, before I arrived, that key pick-up and return and breakfast were all at a different hotel (about 300 yards from the accommodation - in the rain that's a lot of walking)
Pros: The place and service
Cons: The mirrar in the bath room must be monted in the wall. Not just placed on the zink. Hard beds, one bed higher than the other..
Pros: The breakfast in the Park Hotel was good. The room in Rjukan Gjesthouse was clean.
Cons: The accommodation was very simple. No elevator and little facilities. Small beds.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: It was fine for what we needed. The main hotel would have been nicer, but we were happy with the cost of where we were.
Pros: pretty big room
Cons: the smell at the hall was stink... the check in is not where the residence, but across the street in another building.. it wasnt clear and there was no sign. the breakfast was ok
