Pros: One of the best hotels we were at. Loved the design of room and whole hotel. Room was amazing and big. We enjoyed the pool as well. Hotel is located in small village, with many authentic places to eat in. Also close to the hotel is entrance to National Park, which was one of the reasons we wanted to stay. We spent there lovely day at bikes.
Cons: The coffee in the room was the only thing not up to the othwise excellent standards.
Pros: we did not have breakfast in the hotel
Cons: check out was quite early
Pros: Great restaurant. Approaching Michelin 2 stars in quality!
Pros: Fabulous design - that wonderful (and rare) blend of stylish yet comfortable. Staff superb, warm, helpful and relaxed. Truly superb restaurant - easily comparable with 1 star Michelin restaurants I have eaten at.
Pros: It feels more special then a normal hotel, which justifies the price.
Cons: Heard outside airco units all the time
Pros: Perfect location on the outskirts of Otterlo, bordering the Hoge Veluwe national park. Beautifully renovated, clean, modern. Excellent restaurant.
Pros: Location , hotel design ,comfort , staff

Pros: The best thing is the breakfast
Pros: Friendly host, modern spacious room, excellent breakfast
Pros: This B+B is a real treasure! It has comfortable beds, amazing breakfasts, and close-by woodland walks and an overall quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Henk, the host, was most helpful and attentive and we felt very welcome. Within walking distance to the Hoge Veluwe park entrance.
Pros: Clean, spacius and well arranged room, at the edge of a deer forest. Helpful welcoming host. Great breakfats.
Pros: Quiet, roomy, very clean - good adequate breakfast brought to door. Close to the park.
Cons: Hosts recommended a restaurant - go early!! They were all closed by 8 pm mid week.
Pros: Great place very attentive owners. Clean quite and close to the village. Easy walking distance to the National Park. Breakfast is supplied by the owner each morning and is far better than any hotel. I would highly recommend this property.
Cons: Not applicable
Pros: Henk is a very nice host who gives useful info about the surroundings and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is excellent, of top quality The room is good enough for 2 persons, all facilties are appropriate and the room is very clean.
Cons: I didn't like this question, it takes me 5 minutes but still find nothing I could write here.
Pros: We had a most friendly welcome, and the owner had gone to the trouble of providing a powerful fan. The room was well equipped already, with a pleasant shady place to look forward to shade for breakfast, which Henk said he would bring to us. After his suggestion for a pleasant dinner nearby, we slept with no problem from the heat thanks to the fan.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike - it would not be fair to blame Henk for weather at 38 C!
Pros: The location was perfect, the staff friendly, very clean. The room was new and shinny. The parking no problem.
Pros: Relatively new spacious and comfortable room occupying half of a small house. Great facilities and an excellent breakfast basket with warn croissants. Friendly host with a great sense of humour.

Pros: The breakfast en dinner in the restaurant is amazing!
Pros: We came pretty late and were very nicely welcomed. The staff waited for us with dinner, which was excellent. Breakfast also great. Very good location next to De Hoge park, a perfect choice for families. Room was very clean and comfortable, with separate rooms for us and the children.
Pros: Hotel De Boer'nkinkel is a great place to relax. Nice big room, excellent breakfast a great restaurant and very friendly staff. Ideal to start your hike or bike. We would love to go back.
Pros: We enjoyed excellent dinner and the terrace was located in the sun. It was a small and cozy place with personal attention, as we like
Cons: Our room was above the kitchen and we could hear everything that was going on there untill 22.30 and it started again early in the morning
Pros: A small family hotel. One has thought about every detail , the employees very handsome and helpful , the dinner very well , breakfast super. More of those hotels and I will not come home anymore ( joke ). I travel 220 days a year , and it is rare to find such a good place. Thank you Boer'nkinkel !
Pros: Very nice/soft bed and everything was very tidy and clean
Cons: The restaurant was quite expensive and they had to sell "no" a few times.
Pros: The room was large and the breakfast was nice with homemade and local jams, honey etc. The village was quiet and really convenient for Hoge Veluwe National Park.
Pros: Evening meal at the restaurant was excellent.. Staff friendly and spoke english. Beds comfortable.
Cons: Steep stairs.
Pros: Close to entrance of Kroller-Muller park. Quiet comfortable room secluded in back of main building. Staff very friendly
Pros: The hotel is super close to Hoge Veluwe, the owners are very friendly and welcoming :) also very mindful about informing about potential allergens in food since we asked for gluten free options so that was amazing!
Cons: Nothing really it was amazing. Maybe there could have been a bit more vegetables during breakfast

Pros: Very comfortable, excellent breakfast, friendly staff
Pros: Simple but nice breakfast. Everything is there. So close to the park, we were actually surprised. The hotel went trough reformations and is nog BEAUTIFUL!
Pros: Situated in a stunning location in the forest. Great place to bike ride or walk and explore.
Pros: The location
Cons: We have booked the hotel for one night as we come to the area for annual bbq with friends. We did not noticed the check out is 11:00h. Generally hotels provide check out at 12:00h. At 12:00h the cleaning lady knocked at our door really strong with no respect and said we had to leave. We were getting ready, I was naked and after 15 min she opened the door, without knocking and literarily started screaming at us, telling I have to clean, get out!! I have never had such a bizarre and disrespectful situation in my whole life at a hotel. We spoke with the owner and he said yeah check out is 10:30h I cannot help you. This hotel has no sense of respect to their guests, worst experience for your money.
Pros: great location, beautiful views, quiet and clean.
Cons: Food and breakfast were so so
Pros: Location and beautiful forest. The dinner, ribeye steak, was cooked to perfection. There was more than enough sides to feed an army. In the AM, we were presented a beautiful breakfast buffet. Everything was sparkling clean. All staff were very pleasant.
Cons: It was very warm (no air conditioning during a most unusual heat wave...not hotel’s fault). Windows did open.
Pros: The hotel was situated on the edge of a national park and there was the chance to see some wild life. In our experience a Sparrowhawk flew within a few metres of a car. It is small, family run and was very friendly.
Cons: The room is too hot,. Especially, we were arranged to top floor, the room is about 30 degree without air condition.
Pros: the breakfast buffet was ok. the food is the restaurant is not very good
Pros: Location is perfect. It is only 200 meters distance to Park DE Hoge Veluwe. The hotel staff are friendly, the food was awesome. We were arranged on top floor, it's really a little bit hot , air condition is necessary for summer time, that will be better.
Pros: Excellent and very quiet location, very nice owner, beautiful interior.
Cons: The stairs to the bedroom + bed was very soft
Pros: Warm welcome, in small but cosy Bakhuis
Cons: All was fine, even if the staircase being an adventure each time

This hotel has facilities measuring 250 square feet (23 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Quiet and beautiful surroundings Clean rooms Nice breakfast
Pros: Lovely location, very friendly staff, large clean room.
Cons: Pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.
Pros: The easy going about it. Especially in the morning with the breakfast. we had a SUPER breakfast.
Cons: Sorry. We loved it all
Pros: Great location Warm, very friendly and highly professional people, extremely reliable Great bed, wonderful, quiet location.
Cons: It is really hard to find anything I did not like
Pros: Nice place, cooler room when 37 degrees outside. Peaceful surroundings, however door slamming etc. can be bothersome.
Pros: Excellent value for money. Very quiet location. Safe free parking. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was plentyfull. Would be nice to add sausages and bacon to the wonderfull scrambled egg for a tip.
Pros: Quiet countryside place off the beaten track, relaxing wooded area.
Pros: Super Location in the middle of the nature!
Cons: We were the only persons under 40 The second breakfast room smelled like windows were opened one year ago
With a stay at Hotel Spelderholt in Beekbergen (Beekbergen-West), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Hoge Veluwe National Park and Kinderparadijs Malkenschoten. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator (lift). This hotel has 7 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was perfect making it a pleasant stay. The staff is also very nice making you feel welcome.
Pros: The hotel is in a quiet location. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Excellent beds. Excellent WiFi connection. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way. The breakfast is well cared for and more than enough choice. Sufficient coffee, tea, orange juice and apple juice. The three course dinner was above expectations. Recommended.
Cons: I have no negative experiences. Yes maybe one: I have to come back, because it was so good.
Pros: Staff very helpful Neil’s the barman very welcoming.
Cons: A mirror in the room itself and tea and coffee in the room would make s difference. But for the cost you can’t expect everything.
Pros: The stuff were friendly
Cons: We had no Phone connection, the sleeping bed was very uncomfortable!!!! And there was Notting around, the breakfast was very poor. Sorry to say all this but what i paid for is not worthed.
Pros: The facilities was excellent , really did make our stay pleasurable , the staff were very helpful, we had some drinks and an excellent three course evening meal , the scenery outside we enjoyed as it was in a quiet location
Cons: Maybe a larger car park near to the entrance
Pros: Quiet and spacious
Pros: Breakfast was okay, yet with a simple action, they could have made it much better, yet they didn't. The place was clean.
Cons: The room we came to in the evening, after a long drive had a small ventilation open, so it was 5 degrees cold. It was only the day after I found it and had it closed that the temperature got up. Out of the two rooms we had, with 4 televisions, only one could be used. When we asked for it to be fixed, they said they would do so, only they did not. The afternoon dinner I had, was tasty but too small for an adult man. There were missing utensils, and missing table set up on the breakfast table both mornings. The pictures on the walls were missing, and the room looked empty, like an institution. When asked the last day when we checked out, I mentioned all of the above, they gave me a credit of 4.99 Euros out of a total bill of 299 Euros. The management needs to see that although they are providing a good place for handicapped people, they still have paying customers. We understand the responsibility they have to their employees, but still, they can do much better.
Pros: Everything basic but good. If you stay there, you will experience why it is good to stay there. Keep up the good work! Dinner and breakfast were very good.
Cons: If there was a small thing to improve, the cold water was not working and the soap dispenser was empty.
Pros: Great to have a venue that is set up for disabled access. Large rooms and spacious facilities.
Cons: Shame that the pool was not open but kindly we were offered alternative access to another nearby pool. Given that the venue caters for disabled people with access requirements, there should be more disabled parking nearer to the front entrance. The only space that was there was often occupied by non-disabled drivers!
Hotel Kruller is situated in tranquil surroundings only 700 metres from Hoge Veluwe National Park. It features a bar, a library and free Wi-Fi. Each of the rooms at Grand Cafe Hotel Kruller features décor inspired by the history of Otterlo, a flat-screen TV and a work desk. This intimate hotel is only a 25-minute drive from both Arnhem and Apeldoorn. Burgers’ Zoo animal park and the Open Air Museum are both 20 minutes away by car. Grand Cafe Kruller serves a menu of International dishes with seasonal specialities. The café is open throughout the day and features a terrace with views of a 14th-century church.
Pros: Nice room with balcony, clean bathroom. Helpful staff, good restaurant Good parking facilities
Cons: Staircase difficult, room dimly lighted. Breakfast so so, too expensive for ordinary food
Pros: Breakfast and dinner in cafe downstairs was delicious, staff helpful and friendly, location and parking good, very quiet.
Cons: Steep stairs to get to the room, bed was narrow.
Pros: Very much appreciated the room decor based on artists in the Kröller-Müller Museum. We had a beautifully tiled Mondrian bathroom.
Pros: The place, the setting in the beautiful forest area and the staff were all wonderful. The food was excellent. The room was great with lots of space. The bathroom had two showers which were amazing- you felt like you were in a rain shower. Overall we would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
Cons: It would have been great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room (cups, electric kettle etc).
Pros: Excellent location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Only 10 minute walk from the Veluwe Park, from there you can find white bikes available for free. I can only recommend.
Cons: We had a double room at the top of the staircase leading to all rooms. We could hear the door locking whenever guests would come in or out (and there were some early birds).
Pros: Nice atmosphere, good food, friendly staff
Cons: A bit noisy with lots of doors squeaking and banging somewhat (we had the room right at the top of the stairs, so there were quite a few comings and goings).
Pros: We wanted to go to the Museum - last visited in the early 80s - and Otterlo seemed like an very good jumping off point.
Pros: Nice Restaurant
Cons: Instead of a nice picture on the wall of the room there were only the iron holders , it looked like under construction. New painted, but not yet finished. The door to the bath needs a little oil and was very noisy. With this high price for the small room the owner had to be more interested. The answer to to reclamation was that this Friday morning there is nobody who can decide what to do and I should write an email . No good reaction in this moment to keep a guest satisfied.
‘t Witte Hoes is an intimate hotel set in an historic former doctor’s villa in the centre of Otterlo. It offers spacious rooms only 500 metres the Hoge Veluwe National Park. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast which is served at Grand Cafe Hotel Kruller. Grand Cafe Kruller is 50 metres down the street. The hotel is only 120 metres from the nearest bus stop and the Kröller Müller Museum is a 10-minute walk away. The Palace Het Loo and the centre of Apeldoorn are 25 minutes away by car.
Pros: We did not stay at t Witte Hoes. We were 'upgraded' to the sister hotel, Hotel Kruller. It was fine but a boring modern hotel, newly renovated. We were expecting old world charm. A disappointment! But a wonderful breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It was okay, but no charm.
Pros: The location was great for Hoge Veluwe National Park. And the town was charming to walk around as well. The cafe associated with the sister hotel was really good. One of our best meals. We liked using the old sitting room in 't Witte Hoes and meeting some of the other guests.
Cons: The room was a bit tired, though it was very clean. We chose the older building intentionally for charm, though. And it had lots of it!
Pros: Perfect to go to the national park, cozy place, nice little town
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful. They helped us to carry the luggage upstairs. Beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect. It’s near the bus stop and the Hoge Veluwe National Park is within walking distance.
Cons: There is no elevator.
Cons: Is not the hotel in the picture is a another must modern
Pros: The room was nice and clean.
Cons: No hair dryer in the room.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
With a stay at Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Victoria - Hoenderloo in Hoenderloo (Bosgebied Hoenderloo), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Hoge Veluwe National Park and Castle ter Horst. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is great. A quiet place surrounded by trees, excelent for trips
Cons: Rude staff No air conditioning Dirty room
Pros: The layout of the place
Cons: The restaurant staff could have been more proffessional
Pros: Breakfast was typical. Pool was not in operation due to season. Quite location in close driving proximity to Ede where there are great restaurant and bakery choices.
Cons: Complimentary kettle for tea or coffee would have been appreciated - even though it was offered at 5 Euros/night.
Pros: Pool (could have done with a clean)
Cons: No air con in rooms, stairs to top room far to steep. Reception staff rude.
Pros: It is nicely located in a foresty area
Cons: This is unfortunately not worth a 4* rating, it’s more a luxury bungalow park. Fine if you are after that, but fairly overpriced for what it is. On hot days (we stayed during 38 degrees days) the rooms do not cool diwn at all. There are much better alternatives in the region.
Pros: We like the atmosphere and the location. We fortunately enjoyed the swimming-pool after a nice hiking in the forest.
Cons: We considered is a bit over price for the quality of the room. Very small. The toilet needs to ve renewed. The room wasn't available at 5.30pm when we arrived (and actually I informed them in advance about our arrival time). The wifi doesn't work properly.
Pros: The park in which the hotel is located is nice and quiet.
Cons: The room is too small for 2 persons, when you are with 2 , one is faced against the wall , and when to get out climbing over the other. The shower , bathroom is not been really renewed the last 20 years. The whole hotel needs to be renovated very soon. And in fact the atmosphere also in the hotel is not good , also amount the employees.
Cons: It was the worst stay I have ever had !! On the day I arrived I had a stinky and dirty linen which wasn’t replaced for the whole week!! The safe lock was malfunctioned I stored groceries in the refrigerator but probably one of the chamber maid disconnect the refrigerator one day and everything was spoiled ... And the most important thing for me was the WiFi, it wasn’t available no letter what I did and when I asked the receptionist what can we do about it she said nothing ... I really recommend everyone who’s thinking to go there to think twice before he is doing that !...
Pros: It was in the middle of the woods with bunnies and deer abundant.
Cons: Staff could have had a better attitude. You have to pay extra for everything. We were not allowed to make reservations for dinner and it’s in the middle of nowhere.
Pros: Very good service at a good price + neighborhood of the Veluwe nature. Spacy room.
Pros: great stay - excellent buffet breakfast - would rush back there!
Cons: Lack of parking close to room
Pros: Many facilities, like bowling, swimmingpool, restaurant etc. Breakfast was very good as well, really enjoyed that. Nice location in the middle of the forest. Feels like being away.
Cons: Rooms weren't cleaned in between. We stayed three nights and after the first night, they didn't even bother vacuuming, replacing cups etc. The only thing they did was: they made the bed...but they didn;t replace the sheets...
Pros: Breakfast is good, not too much choise, just enough. Swimmingpool inside and outside (both not really big). Bar in hotel. The best thing is, that this hotel is not really a hotel, the rooms are located in seperate "houses" which are standing in the middle of the forest. If you are on the terrace, you are sitting in the forest (bunnies hopping in front of the terrace). This is more like a small vacation park.
Cons: Luxury and class have faded away in this hotel. The bathroom was good sized, but it was really simple (not wat you would think of a golden tulip hotel). Even in the hotel itself (doors needed a paintjob or other updating). The room was nicely sized, but also here the walls could use some work. Housekeeping didn't mind spider webs. Could find them all over the place.
Pros: Quiet, Rest
Cons: If you know a room is rented, put some heating on. Room was icecold
Pros: Beautiful location. Very comfortable accommodation
Pros: I was attending a party in Hoenderloo and it was close by
Cons: No Coffee and Tea making facilities in room. When asking about it got tea and coffee sent to room in thermosflasks. Coffee was stone cold
Pros: walking out of the hotel you will walk into a beautifull forest
Cons: bathroom with fungus bad maintenance,as guest you will feel more welcome with your dog when there is a breakfasttable ready for you in the bar instead of hearing that you are not welcome in the normal breakfastarea(we do understand);parents with children parked them in the bar while we were having breakfast no intervention from hotelstaff.
Pros: The hotel is situated in the middle of a forrest, ideal for making walks or trips on bicycles. It's not a standard hotel but you sleep in seperate buildings, like smaller houses with terraces for example. Very friendly atmosphere!
Pros: The great care of the staff
With a stay at Hotel Restaurant "de Loenermark" in Loenen, you'll be 13.2 mi (21.2 km) from Nederlands Openluchtmuseum and 13.7 mi (22.1 km) from Burgers Zoo. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Comfortable bed. Deluxe suite very large. Good breakfast. Good WIFI.
Cons: Hotel needs upgrading! The suite was large but had no facilities other than a kettle! Lovely big bathroom but 3 skimpy towels for 2 persons. Balcony was not clean...green algae on wood. Lots and lots of constant traffic especially big trucks as this is on a main highway between Appeldoorn and Arnhem and the suite is right at the front of the hotel very close to the road. Be sure to have earplugs.
Pros: The bed was very comfortabel
Cons: THE hotel is super outdated. The bathroom is very simpel and old, also there was fungusin the shower.. the walls are super thin and you can hear people talk in the next room.
Pros: The women in the kitchen went to the trouble of cooking me a meal late in the evening as I had just arrived from the airport. I appreciated their kindness.
Cons: a bathmat would be good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and did not mind my bad Dutch. The evening restaurant food was very nice, as was the generous breakfast in the morning. Nice to have a balcony on the room for some fresh air.
Cons: The rooms were rather dated: I was surprised to find that there was only one main electrical switch that operated both the main light in the bedroom and the bathroom (along with fan). So either all off or all on... at least it was just me in the room! On a similar theme, although it was nice to find a kettle in the room, some logistical rearrangements were required to actually position the kettle/table in order for it to be near an electrical socket :) It was also a bit surprising that the three towels provided were each the size of a hand towel. But okay, I was only there for one night to sleep, so I did not really care about these things. I slept well :)
Pros: Excellent food and drink choices Good breakfast
Cons: Food and drink was a little expensive
Cons: Problem with parking. I drive a Van so Parking is my priority . Hotel told me be parking on the road ... :(
Pros: staff was nice. food was good. breakfast was fine. So you get good value for what you pay.
Cons: lot of noise from traffic. Room was very hot because of the wheater (heatwave).
Pros: Comfy beds, good breakfast, nice personnel.
Cons: Transportation difficult without taxi / car or unless you are familiar with bus schedules and destinations. Stairs are too narrow!
Pros: The location was great and the staff friendley. We had a diner there and the food was good,'the cheesecake was fantastic! The outside terrace was busy and therefor lively. It was nice sitting in the sun there.
Cons: There was no lift and the rooms were noisy; you could here the neighbour taking. The towels were tiny and there was no hairdryer in the room; (you could go and get one at the reception)
Pros: Staff really helpful. They accomodated a late dinner. Location is perfect to visit the Veduwezoom. Price is really competitive. Free wifi. Thank you.
Cons: Bathroom was ordinary, but OK.
With a stay at Hotel Restaurant de Smittenberg in Beekbergen, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Hoge Veluwe National Park and Burgers Zoo. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
With a stay at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Beekbergen - Apeldoorn in Beekbergen (Beekbergen-Zuid), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Burgers Zoo and Castle ter Horst. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room.
Pros: all is good
Cons: We had room 121. This was priced at 74 Euros per night. The room had a confirmation of the housekeeper that the room was cleaned for us, but this was not true: the bathroom was not clean enough, very outworn. The room smelled of bad sweat of the previous guest, the lamps next to the bed were damaged and the wallpaper tended to get loose. This room was stuck in time: 1985 to be precise. The tissues in the bathroom were not refilled by the housekeeper, nor did she refill the small toiletbag-holder. And that was not even the worst: we weren't even greeted at the reception upon entering the premises. We were only asked which name the reservation was placed for. The most decent thing to start welcoming your guests (who pay your salary!), is to say, Welcome or Goedemiddag!!! Also, we noticed that the garbage can next to our parking spot was overflown with garbage. We mentioned this, but the response was: "I just started here and I am all alone". This is not information meant for guests, but for your coworkers!! The only proper response should be "Thank you for the information, we shall clean the can". Also, the next day, when we wanted to check out, we were only asked for our room key. The proper greeting would be "How was your stay?". And this was a different Fletch colleague!! All in all, a very bad hotel experience, which is not encouraging us to revisit this place.
Pros: Well placed for a few days trip in Holland! Good value for money! Excellent staff!
Pros: Location is good!Wifi work good!
Cons: Hotel is old,not clean!
Pros: nice localization
Cons: There should be a gym in the hotel and I believe there is a space for it.
Pros: Accommodation was good
Cons: The price of breakfast, too high
Pros: Comfortable beds, new bathroom, free parking
Cons: More electrical outlets in the room, newer equipment, less shabby corners
Pros: Only used as a place to sleep. During the away for cycling. So basics are good enough which is reflected in price
Pros: Good condition
With a stay at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Wipselberg-Veluwe in Beekbergen (Beekbergen-Zuid), you'll be a 5-minute drive from Castle ter Horst and 7 minutes from Kinderparadijs Malkenschoten. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. This hotel has 22 meeting rooms available for events.
Pros: Beautifull location and friendly staff
Cons: The appartment hotel rooms seem to be build in the 90s and quite need a refurbishment ;)
Pros: The location is fantastic. The staff was great.
Cons: The rooms should be maintained better. Carpets were very old and the room did not smell very fresh. No fridge, no kettle or coffee machine. Big chip out of the bathroom sink. Could have easily been repaired. 2 little plastic disposable cups in the room... no glass or cup anyware. We expected a bit more. One day the beds were half made and somebody forgot to finish it.
Pros: hotel location in the forest was great for us, and the trail was good for walking
Pros: The location is fantastic. The price is really good. But the pictures on line are not showing the lack of maintenance.
Cons: Your establishment needs a lot of repairs. Our towels were torn and worn badly. The floor under the bed was very dirty and dusty. Sometimes there were teabags and then the next day nothing. The fridge was covered with dust. You could write your name in it. The curtain had 12” large tear in it. The curtain was missing a lot of sliders and therefore could not be closed properly. The bottom unit was better than the top unit, but the noise from the top unit is substantial. The beds were sometimes made really carelessly. We had to haul the garbage out ourselves. We would go for the day and come back around 5-6pm to freshen up for dinner and the the beds were nor made yet... Sometimes they would show up at the time we are showering.
Cons: Breakfast is very cold and nothing is fresh including the cutting fruits and the eeg
Pros: Good coffee
Cons: Too much guests at the same time (at 7.15 -7.30) as a result of which I could not even have a seat.
Pros: Great location in the middle of the forest
Cons: The room was very cold, central heating needed to be turn on and it took some time to become warm
Pros: Located in the outskirts of both national parks at the Veluwe.
Cons: Dated hotel, terrace could have been cleaned/swept, and the staff woking at the reception would need some guidance about being professional and polite. The two young men we met upon arrival were busy doing other things, incl answering phonecalls, instead of handling their guests. We were kept waiting for much too long, no smiles, no greetings.
Pros: Comfortable bed, old not well painted radiator for the heating , however, works very fast.
Cons: Very old room, old carpet with a lot of dark spots in it , lots of holes in the curtains , quite some corrosion on bathroom elements, you can hear your neighbors upstairs if they are talking/coughing/going to bathroom , an insect in the bath.. The room and bathroon definitely require renovation. No any piece of fresh fruit / vegetable for breakfast (a few pieces of watermelon only). Coffee is not drinkable. We have really expected more from 4 stars hotel and price 130 euros / night.
Pros: Being surrounded by woods
Cons: Firstly, it shouldn't be called a HOTEL as it's not. And rating it 4 stars it's a BIG misunderstanding. It's a bit better camping side, that's what it really is. Website is very misleading as it wasn't clear at all that the rooms are scattered around and not attached with the main building, where the restaurant or swimming-pool was. The idea was not to have to dress up from head to tose when going to/from the swimming-pool or restaurant. Huge disappointment as in the middle of the winter you really need to dress up properly to get anywhere outside your own room. Rooms are small and very acoustic so you hear your neighbours talking or going to the bathroom.... Rooms are old and poor quality but we could live with that as long as they would have been clean. They weren't. The bathroom was full of hair, on the floor, under the shower as well. Housekeeping came only once and apart from sorting out the duvet on the bed (and only duvet not only the sheets underneath) did nothing else, not even emptying the garbage bin that we especially left in the middle of the room to make sure it will be emptied. Breakfast was very limited but ok. Restaurant experience was a huge disappointment as well. We were served by the waiter who seemed to be very unhappy about his profession. They advertise that kids will have a blast in their restaurant, having so much to do, every kid gets crayons and what not to keep entertained. Well, nothing like that happened and when we asked for some, the said waiter, making a lot of faces brought after 30 mins some white-board markers, clearly they were not prepared at all, despite what they say, to have kids guests. The said waiter made the whole experience even more poor to us. Sadly there is not enough space here to describe the whole experience, but don't get fooled by the positive comments or their website, they are truly not genuine.

Pros: Good beds
Cons: Noisy room, we could literally hear what the guests in the room above ours were saying
Pros: The location was perfect for our stopover back to the UK - food was fantastic as well
Pros: Great location
Cons: Room was cold at first and the towel was small
Pros: Quiet place
Cons: Poor breakfast, very small room and bathroom
Pros: Friendly people and staff
Pros: Scrambled eggs were hard like stones No breakfast tea available Little croissants were very good
Cons: The restaurant = I ate a terrible bouillabaisse soupe. Seafood was not eatable and the soup was coming straight from a can for 9.50euros! Burger ! When I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare the waistress explained to me that it would not be possible. I could not understand this to until I got this very poor piece of meat. Meat was overcooked because bought deep frozen. Only fries and bread were ok. For 17.50eur it is a disgrace. Two narrow beds next to each other, you could fall in the middle because the mattresses deformation.
Pros: Dinner was nice.
Cons: Room was small and the bathroom was tiny! There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
Pros: The staff was very service minded :), but the room where awfull. Dirty, it had a stank. The windows should be cleaned once in a while. Spiderwebs etc...
Pros: Clean room, good shower
Cons: Poor beds, bending.in the middle, not good.
Pros: I like how atm across street and grocery stores right close by. Also staff are nice and rooms clean. Best hotel yet out of 5 if went to recently.
Cons: Little bigger tv and a refrigerator. More room for clothes items maybe.
