Clean and very nice staff. Easy to find and good place to rest while traveling to Austria. This Hotel wass a passthru stopp for us. No problems at all
...the moment we left the hotel... ...the restaurant had a day off in Monday - so unusual - we had to search for a place to get a food...The room had no heating - in January we would prefer to have a warm room :) Poor English - difficult to communicate with the hotel's staff...
We love 't Nothing
Very nice breakfast area well decorated. Very friendly staff \ owner. Restaurant hapenned to be closed the night we stayed there.
They say "location is everything" and that is why we chose Hotel Waldhof and it's proximity to the Munich airport. But we so pleased with everything else about this hotel as well. The restaurant is great, the rooms very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful! It was a pleasure and we'll look to stay here again!
Proximity to Airport Accomodations Friendly Staff
So clean, modern and welcoming all around. Parking is insanely expensive and breakfast at 21 euro per person does seem over the top. On the plus side, the breakfast was good.
Convenient location and helpful and friendly staff Expensive
Proximity to airport, modern, clean, typical Novotel business hotel It's not quite at the airport, no shuttle. You have to take a city bus from the airport to get there and it takes you 15 mins - inconvenient. The internet wasn't working well or at all, which, for a business hotel, is not acceptable.
Very good location if you have a very early flight out of Munich. The bus stop was less than 100 meters from the exit and the total bus ride was about 5 minutes to terminal 1. A shuttle would be nice, but the bus comes every 20 minutes. The non smoking room was clean and was more spacious than expected. While this is probably a no-brainer for the seasoned traveler, the 25 euro buffet for dinner was unsatisfactory. In hind-sight we should have ordered room service with the fee, it would have been cheaper and possibly more palatable.
Expensive parking (21 eu p day), close to airport but not AT airport. Need to take bus to get there.
How easy it was to get there and to public transportation. The rooms were really clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. There was no small store nearby to by things we forgot (baby items, soap etc)
Price for parking is very expensive. Internet connection is very low and poor.
quite They don't have free shuttle bus from airport.
I think that this hotel should have shuttle to the airport. Breakfast is good but very expensive.
The staff at the front desk and the cleanliness of the room. Bathrooms were well equipped Staff at the bar wasn't too nice and seemed a little overwhelmed with not that many customers
Too expensive for what you are getting. Also they charge you for airport shuttles...
Simple. Clean. Comfortable. I would have loved to see free access to internet (there is by charge access available but still...)
Good continental breakfast. Very convenient to the airport. Single rooms are very small.
Nice food. Suggest to increase the Chinese food. The wireless is popular right now. I have travelled in many country with free charge of the internet in hotel. Please consider about this.
It was clean
Bfrekfast at 4 am. is really nice idea. There was some problem with my reservation from booking, but finally hotel was quiet empty so I got room.
The hotel can supply it's customer with no charge parking
No restaurant inside the hotel.
Staff exceeded expectations.
We only stayed one night arrived late and the barman stayed late to serve us drinks, the room was first class and incrdibily clean. no
Location Location Location cost of parking
Great location, minutes from the airport. Departure screens in the lobby keep you updated on flights and gates. Love that breakfast starts as early as 4 am for those early fliers and they put out free evening food when you get in late. Lots of families and seniors there when I came through as it is very good value for the money and extremely convenient. Clean and modern rooms; everything you need. Did not like that the wifi did not work in my room during my stay ... had to do calls and mail from the lobby. Problem with their authentication local staff could not fix.
service was excellent. Showers a bit out of date. Bathroom extractor fan noisy.
The restaurant & the breakfast were very good
The breakfast was the best of all our hotels in Europe. And we loved the room. The pool area is down in the basement area and it gives you a closed in feeling.
I always stay there when visiting Munich. Good access from airport, reasonably close to town. Cosy atmosphere. Good restaurant.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms and a great shower. They also provide a large selection of breakfast foods. The only minor complaint is that the Hotel is a lengthy walk to the train station.
The breakfast was excellent, many choice and good quality. parking place was not enough so i parked on the public road. Even i know it could be safe but not comfortable.
Quite Place and excellent food
This hotel was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. The staff were so friendly, the room was great (1st class), food at the restaurant was fantastic ;) I wish it had been just a little closer to the city center
location was not too far from city and great valve with good breakfast, ample parking for guests.
Standard of room and the breakfast we received was incredible for the €59 we paid. Perfect for an inbound overnight before venturing beyond Munich. Maybe ten mins by car from the hire pickup garage. Ok so if you park in the underground car park, park in the left hand one. Else yopu'll bump into several others who have no idea where reception is ! Also whilst it looked very grecian, probably legacy from the Olympic days, it smacked of 'something for the weekend' especially seeing as all the beds are Murphy beds. Albeit comfortable ones.
Proximity to the airport and excellent dining Some of the rooms are "apartment" type and are not directly connected to the main lobby.
yes wife could not connect to internet
Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but enjoyed very much the hours we spent there, most important for us was the easy and very short time to get to the airport. I would'nt change anything.
I had a long layover in Munich and need a place to rest overnight. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was most convienent.
The pay per view films were not working.
Excellent value for a hotel in this area. Highly recommend for anyone. The hotel is very convenient to the Munich Airport. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathrooms were warm and have all of the extras. The kitchen is excellent, serving a number of local German dishes at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was fresh, great choices and plentiful. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating The hotel airport shuttle costs EU 8 for each way.
very nice rooms and quite large as well. excellent restaurant, good food and service. I think when you are located far from the airport the transportation to and from the airport should be provided for free in principle. WiFi signal is not that strong in all rooms.
we only stayed one night but we enjoyed our room very much. it was very clean and comfortable. we have tea and coffe in the room. we ate at the restorant and the food was very tasty.
Very convenient to airport, quiet, comfortable bed.
Rooms tastefully decorated and all amenities extremely helpful. We had previously stayed at the Munich Vier Jahreszeiten, which was excellent, but for small pleasant details, the Moevenpick was more imaginative. Breakfast was outstanding--a gourmet delight. We liked everything.
Easy access from/to Airport, large rooms, clean bathroom. We had a room that smelling terrible from the previous smoking guest. We had to open the door for 2 hours with outside temperature in 6oC.
Nice clean hotel with excellent cuisine Sound isolation of the room
Rooms and restaurant Choise in minibar is too small
very clean very comfortable well appointed room interesting design (central glass lift) location was too isolated, no shops for a long distance by foot staff did not speak English well enough, I needed to find shops but the girl did not explain it to me precisely (did not know 'left' from 'right') and I got lost Shuttle bus should be included in the price and it was not easy to find it at the airport, there was no signpost at the bus complex Hotel should offer all-inclusive deal at a good price, it does not Breakfast did not have any hot food, only cold meats, cheese, eggs, cereals, etc, compared to same hotel in Zurich airport the breakfast was not as good Hotel should offer a small kiosk with basic provisions plus telephone vouchers for making fixed line calls and a normal fixed line instead of the expensive phone you have there - it is a waste of time and money. Instead I will just use my cell phone. I prefer Zurich Aìrport Movenpick where I get a fixed line normal phone in the lobby.
Just very convenient for our trip to Munich Rooms at the back had loud road noise if you like to sleep with window open
Better than I expected!
Very good and romantic restaurant. Staff really nice and helpful. Two course(fish soup plus meat) dinner with wine, coffee and dessert for two came to 65 euros (tips included) which is fantastic. Breakfast was great experience. Room with bathroom was big and very clean. Decore of room was lovely (stayed in queen room). Overall design of hotel is impressive. There was also a reading room with sofa and coffe machine. Parking is not a problem. Very close to the airport. My partner would have loved a small kettle in the room.
The hotel and staff no
Wifi in the entire hotel, staff
We really liked staying at the Ampervilla Hotel. It was a little off the beaten path, but the town was nice, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I definitely recommend it. It would have been nice to have a pool.
The room is spacious, clear and decorated in elegance. Breakfast and internet also include in room price that is economical. The room we were gave is near by the cross road. The cars came in and out all night. Indoor is stuffy and have to open the window. I couldn't sleep until wear the ear plug.
I loved the hotel I would stay there again, they spoke great English and were very nice. The room was beautiful and had a pretty nice tub. The breakfast is amazing!! Eggs, bacon really everything but a biscuit! I like how quite and peacefull it was! There was no pool and it's about 20 mins from down town Munich a little far away for my liking,
The staff were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty. We were late for a flight and the staff checked us out quickly and phoned ahead to the airport on our behalf.
It was close to the train station, Friesling's city center, free breakfast was good, decor was nice and the beds and room were very comfortable. The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. There was a shuttle for a reasonable price to the airport which is what we needed. They did not clean out the garbages and ash trays outside of the elevators so it stunk when you got off the elevator, the hotel had a pool party the first day so you couldn't swim that day and they were very unfriendly. They promised food and there was none to be seen.
Very overpriced relative to other local hotels. It's not really near the airport (20 min drive) so expect a 25 Euro cab fare. My room was clean visually but had a strong mildew smell. I didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast so I can't really comment on the food, but for $200 bucks you're much better off staying either in downtown Munich or closer to the airport, depending on your needs.
Comfortable, clean and access to the international air port.
The bed and pillows Long wait for service for dinner, even by European standards, the head waiter was apologetic and I had not even made a complaint, breakfast too expensive
Great Marriott facility, convenient to Muenchen airport.
It's location. It is a few miles from the airport, but easily accessible bu bus and much closer than Munich. It is in the charming small town of Freising.
Emergency response by staff during a citywide power blackout.
wellness facilities are great
Great staff and very comfortable. Nice little town with a good train service to Munich. It's not that close to the airport - around 15 mins drive, although there is a bus service.
the hotel is good for familly
Liked easy access from airport. We stayed at this hotel during an overnight layover......was perfect. Liked having food and beverage available as we arrived late. Friendly staff.
We left the car at Vogel Parking garage Munchen Airport and spent last night before the flight at Moxy. Hotel is directly connected to a parking garage therefore we left our luggage in a car, pick it up in the morning and use a (free of charge) shuttle bus to Airport. Hotel staff was very kind, room was peaceful and they have everything what you need if you are hungry or thirsty. Shuttle bus should be included in a price
Spacious suite, very accommodating staff, comparable to Aloft or Element-type hotels in US No restaurant, only self-service "grab-n-go" food
The hotel was very centrally located in garching, Just next to the S bhan station entrance only 20 mins to Munich central station or oktoberfest, Lovely hotel, with excellent variety in breakfast, Though expensive due to oktoberfest but should be good value for money otherwise The entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing if you come by a car guided by GPS, you have to enter through their Letoon restuarnt
large size of the room, good quality fittings
not liked at all. I sent a complaint email to the hotel, they sent a rude reply letter. This is so unhappy to see a service-sector company at 2010, they are running the hotel with an ancient mentaility and not customer oriented.
Breakfast was delicious and versatile. Service Personnel at breakfast very professional as actually most of the stuff too. Very harmony like business hotel.
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable Room became very hot in the middle of the night, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by opening the window.
Compact but very good room planning
the service was great and the care for detail was really noticeable, hence the feng shui name.
It is classified as an airport hotel, and Booking.com labels it as 6.3km away from the airport, in fact it is more than 10km away; also, the offer called "Park, Sleep & Fly Offer - Double Room" included an airport transfert for one person only and a charge of €18 for the other person, which is exactly the price for a taxi ride, so we eventually paid for the transfer of both of us, which can't be considered fair practice!
Very nice staff. Easy access to hotels, train, and the airport.
The Reception and Restaurant staff were very obliging and helpful with a pleasing personality.
The staff was excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent - it is an easy walk to the university, to the downtown area with bakeries and restaurants, and also to some of the sights of Freising. the room didn't have air conditioning and it was quite stuffy on several warm days, but was relatively easy to cool off at night with the open window and the fan. As a business traveler, I also prefer staying in a hotel with a gym, but I didn't look for/check on this before hand, so this was my own problem. That said, there are some nearby trails where you can go walk/exercise, which is probably even nicer than a gym, anyway.
Hotel decor was attractive. Bed was covered with a duvet intsead of a bed spread, making it easier to provide a clean bed for each new guest. Breakfast buffet included a variety of fresh foods and hot entres and the coffee was freshly brewed. Two minor things. There was no coffee pot or hot water pot in the room, and only one English language TV channel. I was there in June and the weather was cool, but in late summer, the lack of AC might be a factor to consider before booking.
Staff very very nice. They helped me for everything I needed. the position of the hotel very near to the center, station, restaurants. the possibility to have breackfast 24 hours per day no babybed avalaible. One 4 stars hotel without bar/eating isn't possible (bar service only in sommer or better....by summer wethear!!! )
Your staff was very helpful. The reception desk helped a great deal and should be commended.
Proximity to the airport, shuttle bus service although considered a bit expensive and very pleasant and attentive front desk staff Nothing disliked thank you for a pleasent stay on 2 occasions.
Very much a big problem this smoking . I was in a hall before the manager with the child. All smoked in a hall. And it not probably to accept. Therefore we have changed hotel. It is necessary to forbid smoking in hotel. For smoking there should be special places
Thourghly enjoyable stay. Dining was superb and staff only too happy to help. Would definitely stay with this company and in this hotel again
Location Exagerated rate which did not equal to the offered service
The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms clean and modern. The facilites were conventient for the Munich airport. No issues--all was fine.
Relative cheap price; early bird breakfast; nice room The noice from the corridores came in to the room.
nice hotel , with nice reciption non
Nothing, thankfully it was an over night stay and an early flight out in the morning. The 18 Euros breakfast as advertised on the web site included an abundance of house flies in the dining area!!
Location near the airport is excellent, clean room, very nice staff and organised well The cost of breakfast was high - 21 Euros for some cereal!! also the shuttle to the airport - 8 Euros - cheaper to take a taxi
Clean and fresh, comfortable. Location
Very close to the City & Airport and comfortable without being too being too big Breakfast should be added to the room price - no-one likes paying extra
Quiet room, recently renovated The bill was considerably higher than the price offered at booking.com.
Cry clean and large rooms It's a train ride from everything. But hardly a problem.
Great location. Good breakfast. No elevator. No alarm clock. Very noisy at night with drunken people in the street between 12:30 am - 3:30 am all three nights. Side note about village. No shops or resaturants accepted USA credit cards. (Hotel accepted credit cards) Brewery Tour cancelled. Terrible Gift shop at Brewery. No free tastings. Traveled 4,000 miles. Stayed in Freising for that reason.
very dirty carpet, no internet access
We had been to visit the Dachau concentration camp memorial, hence choosing Dachau to stay for the night. The hotel was fine for this purpose, friendly staff at reception, with a bar for coffee/nightcap later. Handily located for short walk to local restaurant, though you might need a car/catch bus into the main town centre. Room and breakfast were both adequate. Safe car parking underground was provided at daily rate. Bed was comfortable. Free internet access a bonus. Was slightly surprised that, as a 4* hotel, it did not have its own restaurant for evening meals.
Staff were really helpful and breakfast was excellent Room was too hot and lift was broken
Ideal location for touring both Dachau and Munich. It is a 5 min. walk to the train station and 20 min. train trip to Munich. The outside of the hotel is not impressive but the room was one of the nicest we had in Germany. Excellent breakfast buffet.
comfortable bed and clean room. Quiet atmosphere.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet was included free of extra charge. The hotel is within walking distance to the Train Station and the older part of the city. We couldn't turn off the heat, and the room had no real air flow.
Located in the heart of the town, next to lots of stores. Room was very clean, neat, and beds were very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast buffet--the best we've had on our trip! A very nice place to stay! No complaints at all. Parking is a problem, but they do as well as possible. The parking garage is underground and maneuvering is tight.
Good location in Dachau nice clean rooms & bathrooms Parking available but convoluted to use & access since in a basement gated parking garage late check in was awkward -probably because of holiday season
Central location and very accommodating staff. Noise from traffic was excessive as our room was on hotel front.
We were very pleased with the helpful staff and impressed by the morning breakfast buffet. Dinner dining options were very limited
The vitamines that are available at the reception in the morning, as part of the Victor's Good Life initiative. The fact that the restaurant was closed on Friday and Saturday evening. The shower cabine is realy small.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and fairly spacious for a single business traveler. All international outgoing calls are free, so is the Wifi The hotel is not on any immediate transport route. The train station is a good 10 minute walk. Travel by taxi or underground is a minimum of 40 minutes into central Munich. The rooms have no safes or fridges
Free W-LAN Internet Access It was not clear that you can have W-LAN Internet Access for free.
Great staff. Not very close to the city center of Munich or the train station in the area.
Free-of-charge parking, Tishin The restaurant did not work
nice breakfast bar
The hotel staff were polite and accommodating. The language barrier was not much of an issue. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A hotel in a business area should have wifi access to accommodate business travelers. The access was slow and sketchy.
The location was very convenient The noise from the rain and wing through the windows
