The hotel was in a very scenic position. The room was large and comfortable. The spa facilities were very good and I enjoyed the massage and facial very much. This was also very good value. Staff were helpful and always pleasant and polite. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. Service in the restaurant was geared towards the group and tour parties on the buffet dinner package so we felt the a la carte menu although good was poorly prepared and served. This was the only down side to our stay.
We stayed at the Junior Suite as we were 'downgraded' from the Emperor's Suite which was double booked. Spacious room, good comfortable beds, good shower. Staff in the restaurant is unexperienced, not up to (international) standards. Quality of food is substandard.
Everything, especially views and indoor swimming pool with sauna. None
Good views over the valey. Hotel situaled up in a hill and a bit isolated. Too long wait for the dinner (45 minutes). Internet cheap 4eur for 3 hours but the time goes even if you are not connected. All the info in the hotel only in German. Wifi only in limited areas.
The cleanliness and size of the rooms. Excellent food. Not having tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
The hotel is situated in the centre of Sangerhassun which suited us, the owners where very helpful and provide good service. The evening meals where excellent. valure for money No
A very nice, small, local hotel with basic but satisfactory facilities
Room was really a bedsit not a hotel room as such, newly decorated and very nice. Bed was a sofa bed and not very comfortable
very close to the rosarium and hostesses were very pleasant. clean and spacious by European standard street parking as limited on site available and good but limited selection at breakfast
You are really welcome and a member of the family. You will love everything!
The staff were very nice and helpful. It is basic but so is the price (good value for money.)
Very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, did justice to the character of a Landhotel/Gasthof, as opposed to the usual hotel feel where each one feels the same, not matter in which country you are. On the arrival night a local folk group had a meeting at the Gasthof and the hotel manager explained to us the folk background of their traditions
The wonderful family who runs it. Everyone in the family is involved and each of them is a chef-cook (most with professional training). The grounds are very inviting with a fish-lily pond and area for sitting and enjoying the evening. Food was exceptional in a local atmosphere so you were more than a tourist with other tourists. It is in a very small village which again adds to the quality of being in Germany rather than merely visiting Germany.
