Pros: Room size
Laundry facility in car park
Cons: Tiny tired bathroom
Kitchen a bit tired
Could only access wifi if we were standing at the door to our room which was a long way from the bed!
Pros: Our room was a little one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. Clean and comfortable and quiet. The staff were all very nice & helpful. The location for Hollywood site-seeing is ideal--could not ask for better. Orchid is a quiet side street, but just a few steps away, Hollywood is loud & lively.
Cons: No complaints!
Located in the heart of Hollywood, this hotel is steps from Dolby Theater, TCL Chinese Theatre, and Hollywood and Highland Center. Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood Walk of Fame are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: Excellent service and beautiful property. Restaurant has good food and excellent vibe.
Cons: Rooms are very small and run down.
Chateau Marmont puts you within a 10-minute drive of TCL Chinese Theatre and Dolby Theater. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms at this upscale hotel offer 24-hour room service and free WiFi.
Cons: I booked and paid for a Deluxe King Room with view of Hollywood sign. I received a room near the elevators with a constant machine and elevator running noise. I asked to be moved and was told someone would be right up and after 10 minutes I grew tired of waiting and went down to the front desk. This was already 11PM. I was taken to a new room that had an adjoining door with a party going on in the adjacent room. I asked to be moved AGAIN, eventually to a room with queen bed. The beds were too soft for my taste. There was a curly hair on the soap dish in the shower. I will never stay there again.
Cons: The mattresses were too old and lacked firmness.
Pros: The staff was great. It was right in the middle of Hollywood, nice and clean. Loved the shopping connected to it.
Pros: Staff was ecellent
Cons: Parking a little too expensive
Pros: IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME TO CALIFORNIA FOR MY WIFE AND I ,WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE HOTEL .HOW SPOTLESS EVERYTHING WAS.THE MEN IN THE CONCEIER DESK CHRIS,AND NINO WHERE VERY HELPFUL.THE BUFFET BREAKFEAST WAS THE BEST.
Pros: Hotel was beautiful! Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was fantastic! Our room had a phenomenal view of the Hollywood sign. Pool was gorgeous. All in all, it was the best experience we could have hoped for on our first trip to Tinseltown.
Pros: The hotel was located in a perfect location. I was close to everything I wanted to be near. The pool and other facilities was the best. The room was also very cozy.
Pros: As soon as we stepped out of the car we were treated with such surprising care. The man at valet, Ever (that's his name- EVER, how cute is that?) was so nice that my fiancée and I looked at each other and just shook our heads and laughed. We weren't used to customer service like this. We went to check in early, 1pm, and Melanie at the front desk was able to upgrade us to a corner suite! The entire staff was so professional but without being too stuffy. The hotel was beyond our expectations.
Cons: Not a big deal but there was one little Q-tip outside our room for our stay. We kind of joked that they gave us the Q-tip suite. We also couldn't find coffee in the morning inside the hotel. We had our coffee maker in the room but needed more and didn't want to pay $15 for a pot of coffee at the restaurant.
Pros: The staff were very friendly, and helpful when I checked in. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The mini-bar key didn't work, and it would've been nice to have a fridge to keep some drinks in the fridge, but I didn't inquire with the staff, and I assume they would've rectified that for me if I had.
Nice and central, so traveling for business doesn't mean limited options for food and amenities.
Pros: Loved the location of this hotel. Service was great as well!
Pros: The staff was amazing!! So helpful! The rooms were very comfortable!! The beds were great!! We had a room with a view, and it was fantastic.
Cons: The one big thing that I didn't like was, that there was no fridge in the room. We asked for one and got one for a small charge. The other only thing I didn't like was, that there was no microwave in the room.
The sign. The Hills. Our urban oasis at the corner of Hollywood and Highland is your perfect base for moving and shaking, Hollywood-style.
Pros: After my first stay, I was hooked and have stayed at the Redbury 2x per year for the past several years...rooms are spacious and the interior design is phenomenal. Kitchen area is perfect for breakfast and light snacking. Redbury is studio style home away from home, love it!
With a stay at The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine, you'll be centrally located in Hollywood, steps from Hollywood Walk of Fame and Hollywood and Vine. This 4-star hotel is close to Dolby Theater and TCL Chinese Theatre.
Make yourself at home in one of the 57 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens with refrigerators and stovetops. Your pillowtop bed comes with down comforters. Rooms have private balconies. Orange Drive Hostel offers a fantastic location, putting you just a 5-minute walk from TCL Chinese Theatre and Dolby Theater. Guests will have free perks like breakfast and WiFi. Also, Hollywood Walk of Fame and Hollywood Bowl are just a 5-minute drive away.
Pros: The location is fabulous. You can walk to all the tourist spots which are right behind the hotel. And you can walk to Runyon Canyon to hike/walk which is a must do and has virtually no parking anyway!
Cons: The parking is bad but the staff has a real handle on getting people out of you are blocked in.
Pros: The hotel is situated right behind the walk of fame. Within walking distance of the Chinese theater, wax museum, numerous gift shops, and other attractions. Parking is available around the corner from the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Free Breakfast.
Cons: The hotel is dated but the cleanliness, friendly staff, and free breakfast more than make up for its lack of modern fixtures.
Pros: Proximity to all major attractions. Parking lot. Amazing staff. Very neat, clean and with style.
Great location to the Hollywood and Highland Shopping center; Dolby Theatre; and Hollywood Bowl
Pros: Very friendly staff and clean rooms
Cons: the Parking
Because the hotel is so close to everything and the morning manager was very friendly and helpful, we continued our stay for 4 nights. Initially, once I saw how worn the room was, I was going to try to change hotels. However, any issues that we had (such as the air not working the first night, poor draining tub, and no parking space available) were addressed and handled right away, so we decided to stay. If you are not looking for a 5 star hotel, but rather a place that is clean and convenient to attractions, then this hotel is good. I must mention that the beds are pretty hard and not super comfortable but we were so worn out that we were able to sleep regardless.
Pros: The proximity to everything was wonderful. The manager working during the morning hours was super nice and very accomodating.
Cons: This hotel is worn and dated. I did not care for the bathroom in our room. The parking is not great either. We had to park in the parking gargage nearby as there were no available spaces. The water also did not drain very well at all in the bathtub.
Situated in the historical district, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of El Capitan Theatre, Dolby Theater, and Hollywood and Highland Center. TCL Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Bowl are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: Loved the diner on the property. Food was fabulous!
Cons: I booked a stay in early February, more than 3 and a half months before my actual stay the the Best Western Hollywood Hills. Upon arrival, I was asked for a "voucher" and supplied my email confirmation. After looking over the email for 15+ minutes, the receptionist finally told me that they had overbooked the hotel and would have to send me to a partner hotel for the night. For my troubles, I was given 2 breakfast vouchers and my cab was paid for. The partner hotel was over 20 minutes away, putting me further from my location for the next day. The partner hotel was the "Beverly Laurel Motor Hotel" an extremely dated and generally unkempt motel. I was thoroughly displeased with this room, as well as with the adjacent greasy spoon diner. Had I known I was going to end up in this roach motel, I never would have booked through Best Western. I highly suggest booking through a different hotel, not worth the risk of being overbooked. In all fairness to the BW Hollywood Hills, it did appear to be fairly nice. Unfortunately, I didn't have the luxury of staying here.
Pros: Loved the location and being close to everything in Hollywood. The restaurant downstairs was also pretty good.
Cons: Unfortunately, the Internet/wifi was down all morning until we left at our checkout time. Other than that, things were good.
Pros: place was very clean and good size room. The biggest restroom in any hotel in hollywood so far, comes in handy when sharing a room. Everything was close by and in a nice neighborhood. Would stay here again.
Cons: You could hear everything in the hallway. But everyone staying on our floor that night was not that loud when walking through the hallways. I know that supply and demand is the way the hotel rooms sell but $180.00 + $20.00 for one night on a week day was a bit much for me.
Pros: The hotel has a great location. The room was very bice and clean and we even had the view of the hollywood sign. Overall, very friendly staff and great place
Pros: I liked the spacious shower, and that they had fridge, micro and coffee in the room. We never had a chance to try the coffee shop, but enjoyed the stay overall. Didn't bring my bathing suit or I would have tried the pool. Our room was clean, comfortable bed. We would stay here again.
Pros: I didn't expect the rooms to be as spacious as it was. The room was great, the staff was very helpful and the location to the boulevard was unbeatable. Also, it's located next to the best doughnut shop in LA Kettle Glazed Doughnuts.
Pros: We really liked the restaurant at the hotel, so nice not to have to search for a restaurant to eat at. Great food.
Pros: Stayed overnight, we had to do somethng in the area and needed a place to stay close to our event.
Everything went smooth,: booking, confirmation, check-in & check-out
Nice place to stay in Hollywood, very Historical-Retro vibe.
Pros: Room and bed was very comfortable
Cons: Shower is big but curtain is very small so it is cold when using the shower and the floor outside gets all wet
Pros: GREAT LOCATION, AWAY FROM THE BUSY PART OF TOWN, IN NICE RESIDENTIAL AREA. PLACES TO EAT, SHOP AND EXPLORE L.A. NEARBY. FRIENDLY ACCOMODATING STAFF AND CLEANING CREW. EASY TO GET TO.

Pros: The hotel is tired. It has two elevators that hold ten passengers. One of the elevators was often out of order. Sometimes there were guests stuck in the elevator. There was no way to use the stairs so wait times to get to our room were long. Our room was small. The TV was not working well. Mediocre at best.
Pros: Great rooms. Great bar. Wonderful onsite restaurants. Wonderful location. Fantastic staff.
Pros: I told them we were staying for a special occasion and they had the availability to upgrade our room. Very accommodating made the night special for us, despite the many events happening in and arround the hotel (holiday parties etc.)
Pros: i liked the look of the rooms. They were nicely decorated. The size of the pool was great - lots of room for everyone. The location was very convenient to a Metro and to the touristy area.
Cons: The pool area was a little confusing. It was hard to tell which chairs were taken. The chairs by the shallow end of the pool were occupied by people who didnt seem to want to get wet which was frustrating. The hotel room felt like a store. Too many items for sale. This also took up precious space for personal items.
Pros: Music was great as well as quality of guests.
Cons: Staff were very rude and not helpful. Would not accept cash for incidental room fee
Cons: My room smelled terrible. I didn't like the staff because they were very rude to me for walking around the hotel at night.
Pros: - Fresh and well-maintained hotel (especially considering its age)
- Very cool decor in the main areas and rooms are well-appointed
- Very nice staff
- Pool is nice (although it can be crowded during the day, and has a 'bouncer' stationed at the entrance - this is needed given the popularity, but is a little much)
Cons: - The first room I stayed in was small, had a view of nothing but the rooftop A/C units, and had incredibly noisy ventilation system. The very polite front desk staff moved me to a different (and much nicer) room upon request
- $10 bottles of water in the room. Come on guys, a complimentary bottle of water won't kill the margins.
- 'Hotel-branded' flip flops for sale at $20 instead of the inexpensive complimentary slippers that are normally available at hotels of this level
Pros: The decor and friendly staff, the 24hr diner and the pool party.
Cons: The lift was close by and was a little noisy early hours of the morning.
Pros: The service and room were phenomenal
Pros: Everything. Joe at front desk was sooo nice
Cons: The rain!! Booo
Pros: Location, concierge was nice, and the pool was fabulous
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, very close to many tourist attractions. Great restaurants and bars inside hotel. Very cool atmosphere
Cons: Very hard to sleep in when staying by the pool. Lots of noise every morning from both the hallway and the pool. Hallways smell like weed. Even though we knew we had to pay for parking, $36 a night is a bit extreme
Attracting Hollywood's stars since it opened in 1927, The Hollywood Roosevelt offers a prime location along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, across from Grauman's Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood & Highland center.
Cons: Blinds on the window didn't shut, didn't sleep at all
Pros: Room service was fast and delicious.
Cons: May have just been our room (2nd floor overlooking an outdoor area for dogs), but I was awoken throughout the night by loud noises coming from outside and the hallway.

Cons: Room was small for the price, bathroom door needed to be not see through, and it was a lot farther from the Hollywood bowl than stated

You can relax with a drink at one of the 2 bars/lounges, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks, premium bedding, and bathrobes.

The Hotel Hollywood is just 1 block from Hollywood Boulevard. Its location is also central to many area attractions, including Universal Studios and the famous Hollywood Sign, both within a 10-minute drive of the hotel. Bob Hope Airport is 10.7 miles away. All warmly decorated rooms are furnished with a table and chairs. For guests’ convenience, there is a refrigerator in every room. Guests of The Hollywood Hotel can enjoy a continental breakfast each morning. Laundry facilities are on site.
Pros: Nice view from window. Walking distance to mall. Nice paint colors on walls. Cute room.
Cons: No bathtub. Charged for parking. Thin walls. Hard beds.
Pros: Pros: Loved the contemporary renovations. The hotel was super clean! The hallway always smelled amazing...I saw maids and maintenance staff always working the property. The location is superb for those that want to to go to Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre, Mall, Hollywood hills, etc. It literally is a 15 minute walk to all of these places. You will save time, money & get your exercise in! The beds were very comfy. The showers clean and modern. Room was plenty big for a couple. Micro & Fridge made it convenient for food. The little cool bar is nice for drinks. Staff very friendly. Loved the overall vibe.
Cons: Cons: Definitely not a hotel for children! The area is a renovation of a small space, so no room for the kids to romp around. The pool is a very tiny square, so you will not enjoy a family pool experience here. The hotel has heavy traffic on Highland Ave, as you are in the heart of Hollywood, so plan accordingly. No complimentary breakfast. You can hear the noise that other guests make, so awakened by 5:00 am guests screaming.
Pros: The location is great walking distance to the Hollywood and highland shopping center. No car or uber needed
Cons: You are in Hollywood so it was a fight in the hallway around 4am that woke me up.
Cons: Very rude, unfriendly, not very knowledgeable staff.
Dirty, room in decrepit condition, no safe inside room, terrible and disappointing pool. Not a good stay, spend the extra few dollars to go somewhere else since you are in LA, don't let such a terrible hotel leave a bitter taste in your mouth during your trip!
Pros: It looked nice on website.. rooms were cleam
Cons: We changed rooms due to no hot water.. then because the hot tub exploded.. water everywhere and all our clothes spaked
Pros: The price was right.
Cons: The state of disrepair was horrible! The walls AND the doors in the hallways were nicked and dirty. Same thing in the room. The room door and bathroom door had so many scuff marks, even my kids said something.
We waited more than 10 minutes to check in because the front desk person was "somewhere in the back." The bartender tried to check us in but she didn't know how (and why should she.). All this was after we drove into the parking lot and saw and heard the front desk girl and the bartender gossiping using foul language. Very unprofessional!
Situated near the airport, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Hollywood and Highland Center, Dolby Theater, and TCL Chinese Theatre. Hollywood Bowl and Hollywood Walk of Fame are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: This is an excellent motel in West Hollywood. Taking into consideration the value it offers good clean rooms, free wifi, and parking. You are about two miles from the Chinese theatre which gives you a good walk up either sunset or hollywood blvd. You are also at the entrance to the 101 however traffic is LA is terrible all the time so it's not like you will be speeding away to your destination. The maid service was good and the front desk staff were very nice. It's not an luxury hotel but you aren't paying those prices. I would stay here again if I visit LA.
Pros: It was recently renovated so the rooms were a lot better than the pictures that were listed online. If you need something short term (we only stayed 1 night) this place definitely fits the bill. I'll definitely consider this hotel when I come back to Hollywood.
Cons: WiFi was a bit slow and had to resort to using 4G on my phone. There's no pool or hot tub.
Located in the heart of Hollywood, this motel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Hollywood Palladium, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Capitol Records Tower. Dolby Theater and Hollywood and Highland Center are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: The location was perfect for what we were there for.
Cons: The fee for on site parking is a must but when full is really cramped.
Pros: The location - near Hollywood, pharmacy food shop gas grocery near by.
Cons: Not the safe location, though it is near Hollywood
the location is fantastic,re renovated building too
Pros: STAFF and cleanliness
Save your money and go somewhere else.
Pros: it was close to Universal Studios.
Cons: Customer service was a joke!! Cleaning lady was sitting down watching tv in our room when we came in. They only take cash for parking!!
Not worth price
Pros: I did not staff was very rude, paid 10.00 for parking but had to park down the street
For the price you pay you assume they could afford some decent toilet paper and towels...and showers!!!!
Cons: although the staff was ok the rate we paid was way too expensive for the service, location, room space, type and quality.. the restroom was disgusting....if I could have avoided using it I would have! Definitely I will never stay there again!
Pros: The price was perfect
Cons: Not to my knowledge
Pros: Clean and updated room. Walking distance to a lot of things to do. Easy to get to.
Cons: Internet was not very good. We were only able to connect once.
everything else was great we just needed a place to crash for one night, they could've aired the room it was a bit musky from humidity but everything else was nice
Pros: how spacious the room was
Cons: how it was strict we couldn't have friends visit our room only the selected people staying the room
Cons: The lighting in the Room leaves much to be desired. What kind of free breakfast is the Motel offering? How can the wiring in the bathroom and ventilation be joined?
They should not call the doughnuts they serve - 'breakfast'. Especially when they are left unattended and people allow their kids to touch every donut with their hands before deciding which one they wanted to eat. Gross.
Pros: Prime Location for Hollywood entertainment
Cons: Parking was very limited - however they did provide a gated lot next door to park at. that was nice
Pros: Hotel looks much better than pictured online. Close to The Hollywood Bowl. Inexpensive and decent rooms.
When you stay at Legend Hotel Hollywood, you'll be in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Capitol Records Tower and Hollywood Walk of Fame. Guests will have free perks like breakfast and WiFi. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Limited parking. Even though we had the hotel-issued parking permit, there was not a parking space available when we returned at 10 pm. We squeezed into a space at the end of the pool. (Not a marked parking space.)
Pros: Only four metro stops away from Universal Studios and Universal City
Pros: Parking lot was small spaces ran out I tell the fuu at the front desk I need a paeking space you have no more he says park in the side in a dark alley I tell him no its to dark he says you payed for the room not the parking.
Cons: Nothing and they have a 100 deposit that they say nothing about till you check on
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable, efficient staff. Good location to reach Hollywood, etc.
Cons: Very little space to eat breakfast, so we took it to our room. Breakfast itself was very humble (not a lot of choice).

Pros: The rooms were all remodeled and have a modern feel to them.
-The water pressure and temperature of the shower were spot on.
Cons: limited spaces for parking at this hotel means that for their guests they have to double park behind cars or park as far as a few blocks down the street for parking. Staff are not friendly nor welcoming and I felt as if I was a burden to them for checking in and using their hotel.
Area of town where the hotel is located is not the greatest neighborhood where you certainly do not want to be out walking by yourself late at nite. The beds were too springy and light and would make the most noise even with a little movement. The hotel was too close to a major street so we heard sirens, car backfires, people yelling, and more every nite.
Cons: Horrible parking

Cons: The room looked nothing like the pictures and the free breakfast was not as described
Pros: close to Hollywood Walk of Fame
Pros: Friendly staff and Clean rooms
Pros: The location is excellent! We walked easily to Hollywood Boulevard Walk- and the excellent restaurant Bossa Nova. Score!
Cons: This is an average hotel- nothing special. I booked for my children to be able to swim, but was not comfortable with the look of the pool. If you are spending nights only, it is satisfactory.
Cons: yes, worst hotel i meet
Pros: Location was good. Hotel staff was nice.
Cons: The guests in next room were smoking. I had asked for non smoking rooms due to health issues. Cigarette butts were in the hallway.
Pros: It is very close to the walk of hollywood stars and Kodiak theater. It was clean and safe and I did didn't hear any traffic. Good litttle breakfast and the price is right.
Pros: The manager I met, was very friendly and helpful. I was happy with the room size & accommodations. There was parking right in front of my room.
Cons: When we first walked in, the room smelled like cigarettes. & anytime we left & came back.. The same smell was there again. Also, there was parking right in front of my room.. But the gate to get outside would be deadbolt locked. /: so inconvenient
Pros: Good price. Good location. Great staff help.
Cons: The room was sold as non-smoking, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes.
Pros: Close to the walk way.
Cons: Staff had a poor attitude, dingy, needs update, shower ha NO water pressure, there was a bug in the bathroom, felt very seedy...
Pros: Break fast was ok the rest is worst. I paid for two bed there was no two beds
Pros: the location
Cons: the room smelled somewhat like smoke when I got there

Pros: The room was big and pretty clean. the bed was pretty confortable and the air conditioner worked fine. You get good value for what you pay.
Cons: The elevator is pretty old. This is my second stay in the hotel, and last time a person got trapped in it. it should be overhauled or changed otherwise.
Pros: Spacious room
Pros: newness of furniture, TV. Comfort of bed. Function of air-conditioning. parking.
Cons: Smell in halls. size of room. price. general skank of the whole place. I understand that this is a high-demand area, and several features were done well, but for $150/night they could surely improve the dingy tired feel of the place. I travel a LOT and stay in 2-3 star national chains like Days Inn all the time. This one is over-priced and sub-par compared to others. If you're a family or group of friends/bros who are touring hollywood, then go for it. If not, you can find elsewhere in LA that's better for le$$.
Pros: Next door to in and out burger, great breakfast, great location
Cons: It smelled weird
Pros: Location was convenient.
Cons: Requested quiet end of rooms. Did not matter because walls thin and can hear people talking down hall.
Pros: The attention from the employees
Cons: Found a roach walking around the walls and a cricket in the bathroom
