Pros: Had issues with ac in our room, got upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. Excellent service.
Pros: BED! Its really comfortable and soft to sleep. The room was good enough for a couple. The pools was amazing!:-) We will coming back again soon for sure! :-)
Pros: Great spa
Cons: Bad value of money, Food was disappointing too - breakfast and dinner. Room was missing a mini bar. Overall, would not go back.
Pros: Nice room, not too big. Perfect location with good restaurant and lounge area. Swimming in the fjord. Pool and outdoor hot tub.
Cons: Spa facilities with a surcharge (quite expensive). Windows can hardly be opened (room was hot, as the temperature was 25 Degrees during our stay). Like most hotels in Norway no air-conditioning available.
Cons: The pools close too early at 9pm on weekdays.
Pros: The suite was beautiful with views of melted lushness.Furthermore sppa facilities didn't only meet expectations they surpassed them with ease and aplomb. Sweets in the yellow tubes at reception tantalised our taste buds with their gooey and soft centre (which mirrored my feeling of our experience in this amazingly appetizing abode ) as Arnie said "I'll (we'll) be back !"
Cons: The food wasn't great ,however the ambience of our evening more than made up for this .
Pros: Very comfortable and spacious spa. Very nice breakfast
Cons: No info in English in the room
Cons: I had a great experience and the only note I have is that most of the information tools and documents are only in local language while I would have expected to have English too.
Pros: Location was fantastic. Our third visit hear en its still the same qualty of everything. Breakfast is healthy and its very clean everywhere !
Pros: Breakfast, spa, view, and the lobby Everything’s wonderful
Cons: Cleanliness ( the room is not very cleaned and the bathroom ) bed so horrible small and uncomfortable
Pros: Beautifull vieuw, spacious room (suite) good breakfast buffet, splendid restaurant good winecard. close to Son, very pretty place.
Cons: Breakfast only till 9.30 during the week and on friday till 10.30, nothing is translated to english not even the menu'S. Standardrooms beds are very small so took a suite, nok 1000 p/day more !!! wich is Euro 125 per nite extra, got a discount for nok 500 only .
Pros: The room was good size, kitchen/living room and separate bedroom. Room was located right at the waterfront so great views from the balcony and bedroom full wall size window on the sea side.
Cons: The hotel was not worth the price even in Norwegian price standards. With these rates you would imagine you get proper towels, shampoos etc. especially in a spa hotel. This was not the case. Also, the kitchen in the room was equiped only with 3 glasses and 3 cups. That's all!! All the cupboards was screwed shut. Overall I think the management should have a look in other hotels to see what this price can offer in terms of quality. Great potential but unfortunatelly not very well thought through. Details, details..... Might sound picky but with these prices you can be picky.
Pros: parking some level you room, spa is great.
Cons: night life in the middle of the outside restaurant is very laud. The spa lose at 7pm, which is to early.

Pros: We stayed in suite. Great terrace facing the sea. Fantastic view. Great breakfast.
Cons: The coffee machine was not functioning. Lock in terrace for not working.
Pros: Food was excellent. Sea views and town area great. Munch hus worth visit. Good take away and shops nearby. Friendly pub.
Cons: Nothing, all good.
Pros: Only sea view.
Cons: 1.This is not Grand hotel, this is MOTEL. 2.Very strange personal on reception. (If you find they). 3. Description rooms on booking.com not conforms reality. Personal says: it is booking.com problem. 4.Motel too much need repair bathrooms and windows. 5. Room Keys are card with holes (no security). 6. at 0-30 nigth peolple play on piano. Personal do not anything. 7. Windows 1 floor opens to car parking. 8. No air condition. 9. Parking is problem guests, not personal. 10. Price is toooooo higher This is worst hotel I've stayed in.
Pros: Beautiful old building but poorly looked after, in need of tasteful refurbishment - it has the potential to be stunning. Hotel has great views over the sea. Lovely small town. Breakfast was good - large selection of hot & cold.
Cons: Hotel needs tasteful refurbishment - decor strange & tired.
Pros: Far too hot in the bedroom, with no option for cooling / ventilation. Was unable to open a window (hardly got any sleep at all)
Pros: If you are into art, it is practically next door to Edvard Munch's house which is now a museum. Beautiful position.
Pros: Location & sea view
Pros: The location is perfect and good service. The breakfast is also very good. Rooms are also good.
Pros: Beautiful location. Nice restaurant with a great value set menu for dinner. The breakfast buffet was good too.
Cons: Our room had a bathroom that could do with a makeover, but for what we payed it was fine.

Pros: Lovely staff, stylish hotel and nice breakfast
Cons: It was really hot and no aircon and no lift
Pros: Very good breakfast, central location.
Pros: Convenient location walkable to the city centre. Very friendly staff, clean and inviting hotel reception/ lobby. Free parking is a bonus.
Cons: Slightly dated decor in the room and no air conditioning. However the window opens fully.
Pros: The staff were amazing. Very helpful and eager to assist with anything. We will recommend this hotel.
Pros: Very good!
Pros: Everything was excellent
Pros: Central location , close to friends, friendliness of staff, nice room and breakfast Overall i enjoyed my stay very much but too short!
Cons: Too short a stay!
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: I did not get free parking, indeed I had to pay 600 krones. It was a terrible experience! Both the staff and the manager I have talked to. The worst of all is I paid 1490 for a single room, it is tiny, and it tok in all sounds: groups of people shouting at the corridor, I heard neighbor snorking, trekking their toaletts, washing... it is the worst room. I had to stand up at 1 o'clock to stop people shouting.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful receptionist, her recommendation for dinner was excellent!
Pros: The property overall is quite good and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was overall quite good - only feedback is if they could change a couple of items once in a while. We were there for 6 nights and breakfast was the exact same each day.
With a stay at Dal Gjestegaard in Horten, you'll be in a regional park, just steps from Oslofjord and a 4-minute drive from Borre Church. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Loved the location.
Cons: The space in the lower level bedroom could not fit any luggage. Also there needed to be a microwave oven.
Pros: Clean and very well located cabins with 1 separate room with double bed and a large top floor with 2 Single beds. Comfy living room, big enough kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Would book here again for a weekend.
Cons: Some minor defects (coffee maker, 2 lights), nothing serious.
Pros: Was nice and warm
Cons: Did not see one member of staff reception closed. Small single beds in a bedroom so small couldn't shut bedroom door. Stairs very steep and dangerous up to second bedroom.
Pros: This was our 2nd stay. The cabins are modern, well-equipped and comfortable. The place itself is great, especially for kids, with playgrounds and a summer outdoor pool. The beds are comfy, there is plenty of room in the loft and it was quiet.
Cons: The negatives are only very minor. In both cabins we’ve stayed in the dining table was a bit wobbly. Also the pillows were very soft; even with 2 I felt like my head was sloping backwards. Also there is not really anywhere to put suitcases when living out of them for short stays.
Pros: Nice place. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay! A perfect stay.
Cons: Nobody at reception when we arrived. Didn't receive the code for the doorlock in advance and have not been aware that it's organized as 24 remote Check-in.
Pros: 1. Great compact rooms with everything neccessary. 2. Late check-in and early check-out available. 3. Great place to stay before morning flight form Oslo Torp
Cons: 1. Driveways are covered with ice.
Pros: The place was receptionless. Staff were efficient at contacting us and making sure we had all the info we needed. We loved the little cabin. It was modern, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was great for Åsgårdstrand and the Horten-Moss ferry.
Cons: The bathroom had an awful smell, probably coming from the drains. Would not have been able to cope with it for more than one night.
Pros: Clean and Very Nice cabin.
Cons: - The cabin would Benefit having two more ( Maybe foldable chairs) to be used for dining table. - The shower head has been replaced but not the shower head holder, the head does not fit and need to be hold by hand and does drop easily on the floor when being placed on top of the tap faucet. - would be good to have some instruction by the dishwasher how to turn on the water t In order to make it work.
Pros: Nice place on the outskirts of the city. Great place to relax
With a stay at Horten Budget Hotel in Horten, you'll be steps from Oslofjord and a 3-minute drive from Tivolistranda. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: perfect located, next to the ferry. the breakfast of the affiliated hotel is really good!
Cons: the name is program. the room was really small, everything obsolete - for one night as stopover ok.
Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of town, which is very convenient. Very spacious parking facilities.
Cons: The hotel hasn’t been renovated in many years, so the standard was quite poor. Uncomfortable bed. The ground floor smelled badly of sewage, but I’m sure that was just a temporary issue. No housekeepers. The shower lived a life of its own, going from scolding to cold and turning the knob made little to no difference. Staff not particularly impressive. Breakfast not included, could be purchased for $18. Room cost $82 pr night. My main thought after my stay was: “What did I pay for?”
Cons: Receiption not friendly
Cons: Poor standard and no hotel name to figure out where to og to check in. Old and dated interior.
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic , the bed was very good, the room and the bedroom were very clear.
Pros: Nothing. Will not guest the budget hotel and more.
Cons: The budget hotel area was old and gave the impression as of a very low Class hotel. Not so nice as the rest of the Thon hotel which I had to go through to reach my room. The room was clean but definitely not good-looking and some lamps were not working.
Pros: breakfast was okay; one person was ultra helpful
Cons: when I booked I was shown a picture of the new section, however, the budget section is lousy, old, horrible
Pros: The location was very good for me because I was planning to take the ferry to Moss the next day. The ferry is very close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide selection of food choices. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was a short indoor walk from the reception desk to another building where my room was located.
Cons: Light and heat in the room
Pros: Staff was really helpful; she helped to heat our food in their kitchen oven. Free Breakfast was really good. Budget hotel is connected to Thon Hotel and the breakfast area is the same and looked very modern. Near to TORP airport. Many extra toilets.
Cons: The carpet was very old and was stinky.

Cons: The room was rather small, but OK
Pros: The rooms are in a barn and have tiny windows with no view and also the staff was not friendly at all. Breakfast was small
Cons: Room, windows, food. So kinda everything
Located in Rygge, Storebaug Gjestegård is a 1-minute drive from Oslofjord and 6 minutes from Kanalparken. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Surprisingly the room was totally quiet. This hotel is perfect for one night stays.
Cons: Breakfast was sufficient but it could be better
Pros: Room was nice
Cons: Food was below par, not enough products and staff to make the concept work
Cons: The door to the wc has to be fixed
Pros: Breakfast was very good with cooked food and all other options. Staff helpful.
Cons: No double beds so can only push beds together.
Pros: I slept well
Cons: The receptionist (male) was on the phone when I arrived and took in excess of 10 minutes to acknowledge my presence. The rest of the staff were pleasant and helpful I had an evening meal in the resteraunt and the food could be best described as Luke warm to cold.
Pros: I wish I had booked 2 nights here rather than just the one. Very well equipped room and bathroom. Beds were excellent. Staff were happy to talk in English and save my dreadful attempt at communicating at Norwegian. Food quality was very good. Really easy to get to.
Cons: The location is a stones throw from the E6, one of Scandanavia's most important roads - there will be road noise. Couldn't find any means to adjust room temperature, but temperature wasn't uncomfortable.
Pros: Great breakfast inc fresh orange juice :)
Pros: We came with the hole family from Telemark to the animal sykehus in Moss, with our dog who took a very high dose of blood thinner medisiner from the bag of somebody. The doctors recomanded that we put the dog to sleep, so bad it was. However we asked for treatment, and the dog spent the night in hospital. The hole family was down and we needed a place to sleep. I booked Storebaug Gjestegård for 4 persons. I told everybody not to expect too much, because it was quite a cheep place. But we were wrong. Coming in the reception hall, the kids began to smile for the first time after a difficult day with many tears. The place was cosy and warm. Just what we needed. At three in the morning I could not sleep. I was sick and thirsty so I thought a tea would help. My younger daughter could not sleep either so we went both of us to the restaurant. We found there a very nice lady, who took all her time to find the best natural tea, to find all kind of different honey and to make us feel better. We felt as we were on a healthy facility wright there. We spent more then one hour drinking tea, having the best company. My daughter said that it was a special moment hun shall never torget. Later on we had a delicious breakfast. I was in many pensions and hotels around Europe. This place had something apart, which I could not find anywhere else. Congratulation for nice atmosphere and special personal you have there. Ps. The doctors told me that I have to prepare the kids that the dog will die under the treatment. If he would live until next day, this would have been a Christmas miracle. The dog was better and become a Christmas miracle.
Pros: Perfect location right ať the highway without much noice.
Pros: Perfect for road trip, just next to the highway. Good breakfast buffet.

Pros: Rooms were big, the linnen was fresh, the nightlight were good.
Cons: We had to call three times to the nightmanager but he didn't take the phone. So was another man helpful to try to wake him up because he knew where the nighmanager was staying. After that we got entrance to the hotel. But no apologies, no explanations about the TV, the room, the breakfast. The person, he didn't show interest in people, he didn't show engagement to us or in his work. In the morning at the checkout he didn'nt ask if we enjoyed the stay, slept well etc. Why is he working there???
Pros: it was clean, affordable and cosy.
Cons: tv had no channels to watch.only white noise...
Pros: I liked their parking. It was close and that is about where my enjoyment ended.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that the internet didn't work. Nor did I enjoy the absence of any type of glassware or cups in the room, or the empty soap dispensers in the bathroom. The TV worked, and I thought, well, no internet, at least I can watch some TV....then the sound went out, followed by the picture. No Internet, no TV. Tv eventually returned for a brief while, and I spent the evening watching a movie with no sound. The thing I disliked the most was the used bandaid I found in the bed and under the bed. The breakfast was sad. There were 12 people there and once a plate of food was gone, there were no replacements. People got creative with what they ate. I went with a roll with two pieces of red pepper. Not because I wanted to, but because that what was available.
Pros: Nice staff, clean rooms and perfect breakfast.
Pros: Beds were comfy
Cons: Breakfast left a lot to be desired.
Pros: Nice hotel in Horten city. Helpful staff and rich breakfast. Can recommend at all
Pros: Nice big rooms with lots of space.
Cons: The heat. no resturant or any type of vendingmachine/store to buy drinks/snacks.
Pros: Room is very basic, but good for short stopover.
Cons: At our visit time it was quite warm days 25c or so. It was terribly hot inside the room. No air conditioners. Windows facing busy street, when opening them noise gets pretty big.
Cons: Seagulls made too much noise. It was loud in the hall because of the tiles. We heard our neighbour trough the wall and they were partying.
Pros: The breakfast was terrible.
Cons: Made better break fast.

Pros: Good location (center of the city, 5 mins by food from r/w station. Good hotel-room style Comfortable bed Super(!!!) Breakfast
Cons: No hotel workers after 9:00 PM at the hotel. If you are planning to visit this hotel after 9PM be prepared for using pin code from booking recervation and calling hotel workers, because doors won't open for you.
Pros: Breakfast is a good selection. Cereals, breads, cooked and cold options.
Cons: Pillows are not firm enough. Been staying for 4 nights a week for 4 weeks and now have some neck pain...
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Dissapointingly fewer facilities, room space and tv channels. The Moss hotel nearby is 10 times better for the same money.
Cons: Good loction to stay
Pros: Nice brakfast.
Cons: Very much noise from the window sill when it was raining. Impossible to sleep. It's covered with ink plates og something simular.
Pros: CLeen room and bathroom. Not noisy. With the private parking. Located in the center. Staff is very good. I woull recomend this hotel to stay.
Cons: Breakfast is without any hot shoices. Only egs and very hard beckon. :(
Pros: Nice Breakfast, location in sentre of Moss.
Cons: Tv did not work
Pros: The guy at the receptionist was very kind and give me on information my requests, good parking.

Cons: Very old hotel, not clean, we book for 4 nights but we just stay 1 night and we need to move to another hotel in Horten. I will not come back again.
Pros: A short walk from the port, stunning old Navy yard setting on a small peninsula. Loved the atmosphere.
Cons: There was no reception. All doors were locket. Unknown when and how tyo enter.
Pros: Close to some of the maritime industry.
Cons: Very basic. Run down furniture. Dirt on floor.
