Cons: We loved everything but would have welcomed air conditioning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super, central location. Lovely breakfast. Nice little courtyard for drinks and relaxing in the open air. St Quentin has a lovely park within walking distance of the centre. Plenty of good shops.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were made most welcome without intrusiveness. The hotel is situated in a back street but Garmin found it easily enough. There might be a problem with parking but luckily we found a space on the road just opposite the hotel. The rooms are all themed; we stayed in the Voyager room with pith helmets for lampshades. The breakfast was excellent with a cooked option available. Restaurants within an easy walking distance. Highly recommended.
Cons: No suggestions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic, the hostess Carole could not do enough to help and kept us supplied with water and coffee. Provided secure parking for my motorbike at no extra charge. Very nice patio area outside the room. Location is around a 5 minute walk to the town centre
Cons: No complaints at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. I am Coeliac, so gluten intolerant. This did not present a problem. We had a five minute walk to St. Quentin centre, where we ate at a superb small restaurant, Chez Jean on the Rue de Lyon.
Cons: We were travelling by motorcycle and although we were able to park opposite and had no problem, some motorcyclists may prefer secure off-road parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely faultless. Wonderful hospitality, and a true gem of a place. We would make a big diversion to go back here. I travel a lot- and can honestly say this is the nicest place I have stayed in some years. Well done indeed to the hosts.
Cons: Nothing. I very rarely say, I found nothing at all that was to my dislike or worthy of criticism.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value. Very thoughtfully and freshly decorated apartment. Super space for our family of 4. I was very pleasantly surprised by 2 bedrooms plus a decent sized living area. There is a lovely little courtyard outside and a supermarket close by, where we even managed to get a couple of cold beers! Greeted and shown around by Alex, who speaks perfect English and was able to tell us all we needed to know. We were doing a stop over, so had to rush off before breakfast.

Pros: The hosts and the house were charming
Cons: Far too expensive for the quality of the room. The garden view was sideways from a small window. The lights did not all work. There was no proper shower..just a bath with a handheld shower with no shower curtain. More a family run b and b without the latter b.

Domaine de Vadancourt - Maissemy - Building

8.9 Excellent (344 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for a stopover on the way to south of France . Beautiful place. & good price.
Cons: Maybe add some shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing place set within its own grounds. Destroyed in WW1 and rebuilt it has character and spacious rooms. Our balcony looked out on the lake which is worth walking round to see the amazing bridges. We have stayed here twice and intend to return, its a great stopover and on our first visit we went into St Quentin and had a superb meal. There are also a couple of resident donkeys in the paddock. World war museums and cemeteries abound within easy distance. The hosts are welcoming and speak good English.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was 'continental'. Pleasant but with not too much choice. Lovely dining room and table which was shared with other guests. The building is lovely in an old-fashioned, huntin' shootin' fishin' sort of way and there is a nice walk around the adjacent lake. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are pre-prepared foods to buy and a microwave to heat them in. There is no bar as such but whatsapp-ing the owner produced a swift response to unlock the fridge and supply me with a beer. A quirky, nice place worth the visit but plan to eat in town some kilometres away.
Cons: Rather far from a restaurant though Le Rouge et Noir in St Quentin was worth the drive! I wasn't keen on the heavy smell of wood-smoke in the main hall but that may be personal taste. Neither was I wildly enthused that, unless I drove a distance, I'd be heating up a pre-packaged meal in a microwave for my evening meal. Also, the arrangement for getting a drink could do with some revision.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was very good, ate evening meal at the outside 'lodge'. We were offered a choice of pre-cooked chilled meals prepared and stored in a sealed glass container. All very good and just a couple of minutes in the microwave was required to give us a home made (pre-cooked) meal for 13 euros. Beer and wine readily available at a very reasonable price. Our host was charming and couldn't do enough for us.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely old chateau with beautiful grounds; Walking path around pond with 18th century bridges. Room was spacious and nicely appointed; nice bathroom
Cons: No restaurants or facilities nearby. "Dinner' at the chateau was quite pricey and spare for a 'potted' cold salad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people, beautiful room and view. A lovely way to get the feel of France
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place, beautiful rooms with fantastic views, great warm welcome and tour of the place with a little bit of history thrown in and a lovely walk around the lake. We didn't stay for breakfast as husband was paranoid about missing the ferry. Only 1.5 hrs from Calais, perfect overnight stay. We would definitely stay again and yes we would recommend
Cons: nothing, perfect place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family spent a wonderful night in this gorgeous mansion. The surrounding grounds are ideal for romantic walks. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom retained the character of the building without compromising on the modern creature comforts of a modern shower. Our hostess Caroline was very kind and looked after us very well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we were totally amazed with everything service grounds it was an amazing experience and very informative would advice anyone who went there should stay at least 2 nights
Cons: no a thing

Cons: Nothing could have been better at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by Carole at the door to Gite La Filature, such a warm friendly lady, she showed us to The Cottage, a beautifully appointed apartment with two single beds on a cosy mezzanine and a huge cosy, comfortable king sized bed in a separate bedroom. There is a small kitchen area, a dining area and a smashing living area., separate toilet and bathroom. The whole apartment is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Carole is really informative and told us all about nearby restaurants and shops and had a map of the area all ready for us. There were even bottles of water in the fridge! Will definitely stay again.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: As most Ibis are, this one too was sparkling clean and well set up! Staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: At 13 sq meters the room for three was very small and without enough space to put anything.
6.8 Good
Pros: Basic but everything you need for one night Good off street parking Good stop on the way to Calais
Cons: We specifically booked here due to the aircon as it was very hot in France - but our aircon stopped working during the night and we woke up to the room being like a sauna. After 15mins trying to fix it I had to get dressed and go to reception - they fixed it through a centralised control and seemed unsurprised, so perhaps this is a frequent occurrence? Unfortunately it really ruined our sleep. Corridor smelt like smoke - unsure if the rooms are all non smoking or not.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable and a central location
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was great, right in the middle of everything.
Cons: The hotel room was a bit like a hospital room. The toilet was separate from the room however the shower was in the bedroom itself which was a little weird. I understand that this is a budget hotel however we have paid similar prices for a lot better accommodation.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: BReakfast was fine, Coffee was good. There was a smoking room available, which I thought was brilliant
Cons: I think the parking is relative expensive, we parked in the street, which was free
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and very good value. Staff very friendly too.
Cons: Nothing - all good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Within easy walking distance of town centre with good restaurants. Secure parking always a big bonus.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. The location was good for the Centre Ville and the river. The breakfast was adequate.
Cons: We hadn't realised that we had booked a budget Ibis and found the room far too small and did not like the shower and basin in the room and the toilet lacked privacy. We have spent 3 nights in various Ibis hotels on our journey through France that were far superior and wished we had booked the Ibis in the Centre Ville.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for a short stop.
Cons: Wouldn’t want to stay for more than a few days.

Cons: I suggest that a few new towels are purchased but this is a minor issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The caravans itself was gorgeous - and very well equipped and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, very tranquil with lots of interesting walks for our little dog close by. We ordered dinner and it was incredible. I do not eat meat, so Nicole prepared two dinners - one for my carnivore husband, and a delicious fish dish for me. Both were superb. Finally, the customer service we experienced was incredible: lots of information provided about the area at check in, flexibility on the time for dinner, breakfast delivered to our door. And when we had a problem with our return journey, they went well above what we could have expected. Cannot recommend this place more highly!

Cons: The air conditioning was not on, which they don't turn on at this time of year when I asked. This lead to no sleep this first night as the room was far too hot. The rooms are also very, very tired and need updating.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: the lift was broken and no hot food for breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location next to the church and two minutes from the main square. Excellent breakfast. A nice public car park opposite with free parking in the evening. A nice town for a stopover with several restaurants nearby
Cons: The lift was broken and we were on the fourth floor. Good for training.

Pros: Location from the A7 is very easy & convenient & its only approx an hour 3/4 from the Euro Tunnel on route to the UK.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed in this hotel several times before. It is very well situated, close to the autoroute. The restaurant is outstanding. All rooms are on the ground floor and have parking immediately outside and a small terrace overlooking pleasant gardens. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings, although we can't complain as we should have checked in advance. There are only limited facilities in the village and those too are closed on Sundays. There is a large centre commercial with a number of chain restaurants a five minute drive away (but that obviously means no wine with food!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean and evening meal in. Restaurant was Fabulous short drive I to Saint Quentin
10.0 Excellent

6.3 Good
Pros: Location convenient for an overnight stop. Meal and service in restaurant good.
Cons: Rooms more motel style and bathrooms need up grading.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant. Lovely continental breakfast. Cot provided for son which was in good condition. Large corner room with sofa with plenty of space for the three of us.
Cons: Bathroom very tired- no proper seal under shower screen so easy to get water everywhere. Hairdryer not working.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and room comfortable. Restaurant provided top food and was very reasonably priced.
Cons: Given the super hot weather, aircon would have been welcome in the room to help with sleeping, but not easy to retro-fit.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find from motorway. Good base for touring the Somme

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful farm with rooms. Great owners who make you feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful and I have the most restful sleep!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The family were charming - welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were able to arrange a meal for us at an excellent nearby restaurant which was not, in fact, planning to open. The location was quiet and the room clean and comfortable. They happily spoke English and the strong equestrian emphasis of the farm made an interesting stay.
Cons: Rooms were a little basic - some little extras, like a tray with some glasses or some shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom would have been helpful. Also, the towels, although clean were minimal and somewhat worn.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts. They have 18 horses
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Bed was terrible. Mattress tired and sagged in middle, pillows were nothing more than extremely thin lounge cushions which we needed to fold over to give any depth to! Sheets were very old and faded. Bathroom adequate but only given 2 hand towels,no bath towels and they were as rough as sandpaper. No glasses or water in room to enable a drink. Breakfast was very poor consisting of bread, jam, coffee and juice. No cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cheese or meat. Appalling...it said continental! We had to go elsewhere for something substantial. Kitchen were we ate needed a good clean, you could have written your name in the dust. Place was a total rip off and what’s more was recommended by you as an alternative when our original booking closed for a refurb.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location. Owners. Activities.
Cons: None.

Cons: Limited choice in restaurant.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a basic hotel with no frills. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good but fairly expensive.
Cons: Our toilet wouldn’t stop flushing - the lady couldn’t sort it and eventually my husband stopped it. The man who replaced the lady was able to fix it.
6.8 Good
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Hot really hot
4.5 Okay
Pros: The room really was smelly. I would of complained but was to tied.
Cons: Better smelly rooms.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
5.5 Okay
Cons: It all had a slightly delapidated air about it. The receptionist / waitress (evening) seemed to be sleepwalking- I even had to fetch my own food from the kitchen hatchway!! Never again, thanks!
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location was ok for shops and restaurants. Ok for a one night stopover. Staff was helpful despite the situation and having to deal with managers for refund over the phone and in another language.
Cons: No AC. Room was boiling. The exterior of the hotel is past it. Paint stripping off, rotten wood on the staircase. Although the hotel didn't advertise AC it did say it had fans. When we arrived there were no fans and internal room temp was close to 40. Receptionist suggesting changing room to one more in the shade, she opened the door and the smell was like a sewer even she had to cover her mouth. We asked to cancel and get a refund. We were told 3wks for refund but through arguing and refusing to accept this we were finally repaid in cash. Best avoiding this hotel completely. Use the hotel B&B right behind it. Much better rooms, more space and AC and cheaper.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location afforded easy access to the motorway
Cons: The hotel is tired
6.3 Good
Pros: Ample parking clean and tidy
Cons: So hot no air conditioning

Pros: another standard budger hotel,,,,this was better than most staff very helpful and polite and also very good english speaking,,,its clean and tidy with a restaurant right next door with pretty good food, the breakfast had pretty good selection
Cons: being picky i would sat traffic noise as its right next to a busy A road,,, but minor complaint...,,its pretty much what i expected some where to get your head down and move on to the next stop
7.0 Good
Pros: We didn't have breakfast, restaurant next door for our evening was good
Cons: Room was small and bed hard
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable beds.
Cons: Noisy plumbing was very disturbing.
6.3 Good
Pros: near the motorway exit a fair restaurant next to it
Cons: primitive breakfast and bad coffee facilities instant coffee cold
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean and breakfast ok. Very pleasant staff.
Cons: The beds were extremely hard and no air conditioner. It was the hottest period of the year and had to leave the window and door open to get a draught.
6.3 Good
Cons: When I arrived during the afternoon, I found the hotel was not open for check-in. The automated check-in system didn't work (although I had a reservation). While I sat in my car in the car park, the desk clerk came to the car to tell me that he would be opening later, but he was on a break, so not until 5.00pm. I had received an earlier email warning that the hotel was not open for check-in in the afternoons on Sundays, but this was Thursday.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location, extraordinary helpful staff
Cons: Lot of mould on bathroom ceiling
5.5 Okay
Pros: Located just off the motorway so easy enough to get to without diverting too much off-course
Cons: This is basically more like a hostel than a hotel. You definitely get what you pay for....which is not much! Its closed at night so if you arrive after 9.30pm you're on your own. You get a code to let yourself in. You're in total darkness as they switch off the lights. Was told the next day that the lights in the stair well work - great thanks! There's no lift so if you're disabled or, in our case, have a pram good luck climbing the stairs in pitch black darkness (we got put on the 2nd floor!) Facilities are very basic. If you're a backpacker you probably wont mind but for a family this isnt a place to stay. They did provide a cotbed but no sheets provided or any way of making it comfortable. Our bed was like sleeping on concrete. One flat pillow each. Walls are paper thin and breakfast was very basic with awful coffee. Didnt bother to use the shower etc as just wanted to leave and get back on the road. Its cheap for a reason people so be warned!
4.5 Okay
Cons: Very small room. Difficult to find. Complicated road system.
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient stop on way to Haute Savoie area. Clean. Restaurant next door was convenient and 10% off for hotel guests. Friendly staff. Very inexpensive
Cons: Room very small. Drainy smell coming from bathroom. Unable to fix shower to wall

Overview
The first passengers took place aboard the "Domi", located in the middle of the park, not on the water but sailing through the greenery and trees. This beautiful boat welcomes a couple for one or more night (s), wake up to the sound of the cock or the peacock, breakfast brought to the foot of the boat. Or why not a gift idea? It is composed of a small kitchen (microwave, hot plate, small refrigerator), a bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet), a double bed. From the cabin you can hear the sound of the waves.
