10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel basically ticked all of our boxes. I needed to be close to Mold for work and my husband and daughter near Snowdon for walking. I felt the hotel had a lovely ambience and nothing was too much for the staff who all were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of options available plus the cook was really helpful in arranging alternatives due to my daughters dietary requirements. All in all a hotel I would definitely stay in again.
Cons: The only criticism I had was the evening menu was limited and we were unable to eat at the hotel. Complicated reasons for this - Otherwise the evening menu looked great for normal eaters!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool Breakfast Location Upgrade
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Me and my partner try and get weekends away as much as possible and we stayed here a few weeks back and found it very comfortable. So we came back again and yet again it was another very welcoming comfortable relaxing stay. The breakfast is lovely and well prepared. The staff couldn’t help enough when I requested to take my partners back to the room, and set him up a tray with condiments etc. The night porter is a young lad , and is always helpful. He can’t do enough and is always very chirpy. The rooms are a little dated but in essence we like that homely feel of the hotel. We will definitely be back again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent rooms with wonderful farm yard views. Large telly, good welcome pack, comfortable bed, well equipped modern bathroom. Beautiful location.
Cons: WiFi required constant log in when inactive. Sadly the log in details were not saved so you had to type in email address every time (iPhone).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Emily, the breakfast waitress was very helpful when we had a problem with the coffee machine. The issue was dealt with very efficiently. Emily was very polite and professional, similarly the lady on reception (I didn’t get her name unfortunately) was also very courteous.

Pros: A very welcoming atmosphere, with aproachable staff. Clean and comfortable.
5.2 Okay
Pros: Evening meal was very good and service with this very good also. Staff polite and helpful
Cons: Breakfast was it seems an afterthought and spoiled the stay. We booked for 8am the first day and eventually got service at 8.30, Only one choice of fruit juice - orange, and packs of kiddies cereal. No menu - told hot breakfast was "the usual" the full breakfast was 1 slice of bacon, 1 sausage,1 piece of black pudding, 1 fried egg and a load of beans. Sausage was horrible. Toast was served on the plate with the hot food, some slices soaking up the bean juice and oil. Service was not with a smile, the lady doing the cooking served and was also doing checkouts. Room was too small for a 4 poster which although a nice idea took up most of the room. Tile grouting in the bathroom had turned black. Cover on the bed looked as if it had not seen a washing machine for weeks
4.3 Okay
Pros: Very little. Nice view over the Dee Estuary.
Cons: Plenty.
