The food was excellent The bed was very comfortable The room was very clean The front desk staff were on top of it
The room was over-priced for its size and location/view The hostess at the restaurant told us we had to wait 30 min for lunch sitting but didn't tell us we should have made a reservation so when we lined up at noon she told us we'd have to wait another 30 min Too much furniture in my hallway. Not elegant
The pool is very small, opens late and closes early. The beach umbrellas $50 a day and also close too early. One or the other should be open at least till sunset.
Great location with great views. iPad in the the room was a cool touch
Considering the cost of getting a room at Moana Surf, I expected the room facilities could be upgraded (ie...shower and other parts of bathroom
Pretty much Everything!
Pool and beach seating was very limited
From the moment I walked in the door, I fell in love with the old beach vibe. The understated luxury just oozed from the place. The staff was amazing and always attentive to our needs from dinner plans at check in, offering a hospitality suite after check out because we had a late flight. Truly amazing experience and 100% worth the price tag!
The staff were incredible and helped so much. Our flight was leaving late at night and they let us use a hospitality room to shower and get cleaned up before we left for the air port. The staff at the restaurants on property were fantastic, epically Omar at The Beach House. It's a quiet gem in crazy Waikiki.
I had a good time.Satisfied !
The Banyen tree at the rear of the hotel was a great hangout.
The older part of the hotel (8 storey section), the A/C was very noisey and the corridor had a musty smell, the rooms need a makover, the bathroom is very outdated. apart from that the ocean view room we had was good.
convenience to shops, restaurants,
It is a classical hotel with long tradition. Even with 4 stars only it trys to keep a high level. Its absolutely perfectly situated on Waikiki Beach. Great view from most rooms.
The rooms are for todays standard too small. The hotel, the restaurant and the services are too highly priced.
Truely beautiful Hotel, an experience we will never forget.
The air condition was noisy all the time and couldn't sleep well. The light of the bedside table was out of order, however the beds were very comfortable.
We stayed at the ocean front view room, but the view was not as good as we expected considering the rate of the room.
