We enjoyed the country admosphere, very nice
Surroundings No wireless internet
The location was picturesque. The hotel and decor was dated.
The staff were very warm and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent.
excellant rural position , good restaurant
The room itself was fairly large and very clean with a lovely bathroom, however the furniture was rather old and worn. The rooms are in a seperate annex and the corridors had a slightly musty un-aired smell to them. The hotel advertises that it has a swimming pool, however when you arrive you discover that it is only open in the morning and is closed in the afternoon from 4.00 till 7.00pm for what appears to be the local swimming lesson classes, as the restaurant closes at 9.00pm it means you don't really get much chance to use the pool at all during the week.
in the morning we arrived in a well served dining room , alot of food in all kinds off tastes, worth wile if u look at the total prise.there is not much noise, because all the rooms are spread over the area , all on one floor we could not enter our room after hanging at the bar in the hotel , the badge did not work , after looking for hotel personel -which we did not find - we slept in the same room of our friends , 2 bedroom with 4 :(., next morning we told it , but did get poor respons . Bur after all , it was a nice time in that room ---laugh---
The people at the front desk were very nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent and delicious. We came in late at night (10.15 p.m.) and would have loved to make a cup of tea in the room. A coffee maker would have been nice, or an electric water boiler in our case.
Good breakfast selection
It is located in the centre of Dwingeloo, a touristy but nice village close to the National Park Dwingelerveld. We did not like the fact that we booked at Hotel Wesseling but our room was in the opposite building, in what used to be another hotel. Quality of the rooms may probably be the same, but the facilities and the general look and feel were certainly different, and less inviting. And it is not pleasant to have to go to the breakfast room in the pooring rain.
Reasonable prices, good food, pretty location no internet access
The service was excellent, the hotel was what we had expected as we had stayed at the Hotel the year before.A very relaxing village in the heart of Holland. The Church bell was a little annoying
Friendly staff, big and spacious room and good restaurant. Nearby church bells provide a lot of noise on Sunday for 5 to 10 minutes.
Very good kitchen, friendly service all around. The dinner table that was reserved in advance was given away; The requested seperate beds were not available.
Incredibly friendly staff, right on the Brink, bar and restaurant, beautiful room. One of the best hotels we've stayed in! Nothing
Stylish and quality finish , food good ,staff friendly and helpful .Located in a beautiful wooded area within picturesque Dwingaloo. Well recomended. Cryptic menu,no fridge and kettle in room.
excellent price, location and good menu
Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice location near to the village centre which has a couple of good resturants/pubs. No bar, but they have 3 fridges in the breakfast room for you to keep your beer/drinks cool, and you can drink them in the small garden which has plenty of tables and seats. Very relaxing feel to the place.
Nice hotel clean and tidy Overbooked our room which was booked in oct 2009 so 2 of the party ended up in broom cupboard at a nearby hotel
Friendly greeting on arrival. All facilties explained very well, even down to the early breakfast on saturday for the tt fans.
Poor dinner menu, very little choice.
Low cost. Good location. Noisy rooms.
Nice quite hotel with friendly staff. The owner let us leave our motorcycles behind his house for the duration of our stay under a covered area.
The staff were very happy to help at all times. A very good breakfast is served, no problems whatsoever.
