The beautiful surrounding people were nice Food was terrible we had to leave to get good jerk chicken. Shuttle service was terrible we stayed at bongalow and was far from thing I have a back issue where walking long distances is painful we could not get a ride when I filled a complaint is was still not fixed. We thought there would be more beach type activities everything opens so late in the day.
The food was very good, rooms and view were excellent. The only complaint is the music went on a bit later in the night. Not terrible, but since I was there for business, I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked.
The hotel is wonderful and the staff is great - food and drinks were top notch also! Highly recommend -
Loved the restaurants and food..staff was excellent and very friendly.. hotel was very clean. I am very happy we chose the Hyatt Ziva. We can't wait to get back.

Those were the nicest people I have ever met on a vacation! The place was just dreamy and yet fun and the food was outstanding. Didn't get to go to the club but I enjoyed the shows. Some were a little hokey, but they tried to give a little something for the adult and the children. Very good with the kids! Exercise programs were great...I did a power walk which was really a power walk through half of the golf course and a spinning class class and water aerobics....which taught me some lessons to use use in other places. Even the servers were entertaining (Omelet man and stir fry grill.) in my room I got te sunrises everyday. And from various location you could see spectacular sunsets as well. I am definitely coming back and telling everyone. I also believe the stay to be a great deal for all that is included. I loved the water slide and lazy river too. The beach was very nice too! they are expanding the beach area and adding to the facility. Now the beach was nice to me! But we went to Doctor's Cave beach too and OMG! That was the clearest water I have ever seen! It was spectacular. The Hilton's beach cannot compare to this one. I believe the Doctors Cave is a natural beach, while the Hilton is man made.....the difference is clear. They were doing some construction while we were on the beach. That was noisy, but didn't take away my enjoyment. The one of the elevators was broken most of the time we were there which was to me the most annoying thing because it took a longer than normal time to go upstairs and get back down.
This was our second vacation at the Hilton Rose Hall and we were pleasantly surprised to see all the improvements to the facilities. Within the last 6 months they added new balconies to all the rooms, a new beachside restaurant, approximately half mile of additional beach, and appear extending 100 feet into the ocean with a beautiful view of the hotel. Our first trip was with our two children but we decided to return alone for our second trip. Due to the recent expansion, the resort never appeared to be crowded. Since most of the families stayed close to v lazy river pool, the other pool always seemed very quiet and relaxing. We even had a chance to speak to the manager within the next year or two. Can't wait to return with my children.
-quiet, don't have to deal with drunk people -friendly staff -modern room -nice clean private beach -not too far from all the main attractions (walking distance to the great house in rose hall, about 1.5 hours away from negril and about an hour away from dunns river and blue hole) -only 3 a la carte restaurants and overall, the food was just ok -good if you request for a non adjoining room. otherwise you are separated from the other room by a door -did not get too much of a luxurious all inclusive vibe (compared to my other all inclusive experience in mayan riviera at the princess resort grand sunset) -wifi is extremely unreliable if your room is not close to the main lobby area
The staff was nice and the beds were comfy The best beach area costs an additional $100/day for a Cabana and the Moonstone restaurant took 4 hours from waiting till receiving food. We also learned a Jamaican minute means about 30-60 mins.

Staff was nice. Food was good. Too crowded and too many kids Beach was terrible. Lazy river was small. Air conditioning broke in our room.
Staff was untrained and rude, amenities were not as stated on website, food was limited selection and not good, room had mold so had to be transferred to another. Overall there for 3 nights and was not pleased
I loved the location , the view and the staff were very friendly. The food and drinks were excellent. I didn't like how close the rooms were to each other. Every night my boyfriend and I heard Baby crying all night. Also I would have like to seen more tours available.
Hot tub with falls was quite interesting There was no freezer in mini fridge. Ackee and saltfish should be available for breakfast daily
The staff was friendly and helpful The food was not terrible, but not very impressive. This was our first time at an all inclusive, but it felt like a tourist farm. We felt like products in an assembly line.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable and housekeeping was great. The beach on the east side of the resort doesn't have as many kids, which was a plus since we were a couple only. Not enough food options. The buffet restaurant was ok for breakfast, but not for dinner. Very odd combinations of food. They need at least another restaurant for more variation. The beach is not huge and the sand is really odd. It's very firm and the beach has a lot of seaweed, which is not the hotel's problem, just a data point.
Adults only and the staff was amazing! The staff was so kind went out of their way for you and always so sweet. They remember you after only meeting you once! It was mostly couples which isn't a bad thing but could be annoying for some. It's a long way from most excursions. It's not a 5 Star compared to American Standards but for sure a 4-4.5!
My girlfriend and I were extremely comfortable from start to finish. Impeccably friendly staff and delicious food and drinks included in the purchase. BEWARE: the Romantic Dinner, wine, and Spa options are deceptively not included in the "all inclusive" purchase, and prices aren't available until you express interest to the concierge. Awkward to find out when you're there.
This was our 3rd visit to the Iberostar Grand and it was equally as successful as the last two. The hotel strives to make your stay as pleasurable as possible and they definitely succeed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of closet and drawer space. The bathroom set up with the 2 sinks also a bonus. Our butlers worked hard to exceed our expectations! The selections at the breakfast and lunch buffets are extensive and delicious and the staff will accommodate any request if possible. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly interested in making your holiday as perfect as possible. We hated to leave but will definitely be back next year! The chair situation remains a bit of a problem. Many guests do save their spots at both the pool and the beach and then never use them. This is selfish rude behavior with no regard to the other guests but it's hard to find a solution to eliminate this behavior. It is more of a problem when the hotel is extremely busy. In a perfect world (!) i would prefer an additional dining option for dinner.
This all inclusive, was top rate. The food, room, and butler service were all top notch. My wife and I, attended a wedding on the resort, and the staff did a great job.
The hotel was absolutely amazing! The food on the other hand was not excellent, but it wasn't disgusting either.
This motel had wonder staff from the front desk to the maid service ! The food was excellent So much to choose from! There were many activities to choose from, pools, beach areas, and fun shows in the evenings. We had a great time!

All good we had Jacuzzi on the deck oceanfront.only way to stay.oceanview not good spend the extra special restaurant over rated still perfect but buffet has everything plus some.room service none.like 3 things u can order.hot tub in living room never use cause we had jacuzzi on patio deck.party life ends @11 after that nothing really to do on resort. Do ur research on jamaica history its so sad the country get rob left and right.first off I went to the mountains not just the resort to see for my self.no WATER no where dought over 2 years .mean while hotels and resorts dont pay taxes the airports are run by Canada. So jamaica get no money for resorts or hotels and no money from airports the 2 most major things they have to offer they get cut out...America robs them of they red clay dirt you should see the land where they dug out the clay dirt all over the mountains. (To make cars and metals with the dirt) All they want you to see is the resorts and water...
Sleeping in hammocks poolside, food, bartenders, lifeguards, everyone was extremely friendly & helpful. No partition between shower/wash basins & sleeping quarters (friends trip).
Staff Internet should be free Not much activities after hours Taxi service on site was way over priced and when you reserved a taxi from off the property, it was a major hassle for them to pick you up. It would also be good if the hotel plays more reggae music around the facilities.
I liked that there was was a game room and a lounge which both had billiards, darts, and foosball. There was a 10 minute intro to scuba offered in the swimming pool which I found interesting as someone with no prior experience. It was very casual and didn't require an appointment. There was also a one hour snorkel + flippers rental allowance each day and a small man-made reef on the edge of the swimming area which I would consider the best of the 'included' offerings. The 'Little River' restaurant which provided the main buffets had a good variety of options and generally tasted good. The staff was generally kind, friendly, and helpful, most notably at the front desk. I found the biggest disappointment to be the overall cost to benefit ratio of the stay experience. To expound on the title: The property was decent but had several quality shortcomings that gave it an ill-maintained feel: The felt on the pool table in the lobby was gouged and loose, only about 10% of the pool cues had usable tips, the direction lights on several elevators did not function, and a wall-mounted lighting fixture in my room was only half mounted and hung at a strange angle. As for the food, I ate at the main buffet most of the time and tried as much variety as I could and though the food was generally good I didn't experience anything great. I also ate at the reservation-required Japanese Hibachi one night and the quality was notably lower than that of the buffet. I had a few mixed drinks at the bars every day and found that they were weak in alcohol, and the taste varied greatly with each bartender. Lastly, the 'all inclusive' label did not apply to most of the snorkel and scuba recreation (except what I listed in the pros) which I found a bit disappointing.
The staff was very accommodating. Property is starting to show its age in some areas. Food was ok, but nothing had a wow factor. Rooms were comfortable and the pool/beach area was top notch. Entertainment was ok. Wish they had a craft beer. Red Stripe gets old fast. Disco was just that. Disco. Other all inclusive resorts have had a period of other types of music such as rock for a couple of hours each night which breaks up the monotony. Wifi was lacking. Had to sign on 3 or 4 times a day for some reason and this happened with all of our phones. Resort was pricey when compared to others.

The pool was gorgeous. The entertainment staff and waiting staff were kind and friendly. The photography availability was a perk. The refreshment daily of toliteree was nice. The beach was smooth sand (no rocks like other two hotels, The Suites and the Grand). Rooms on motion detector made for a musty smell and too hot to adjust to. Ants in room. No coffee available during day or night (not espresso).Biggest disappointment was pool closing at 7pm, beach dark at night. The 'all inclusive' was really just the food and drinks. There was no catamaran, surfing, or any water sports free aside from a kayak. You MUST know how to sail or pay a surprising $45 fee for lesson. Additionally, the Wi-Fi cost $45 for one device. This should be free. There's was not much to do on your own after 7pm at the resort, resulting in boredom. The food was better than other places I've stayed, but doesn't fit the bill for anything special. I'd suggest leaving the pool open till midnight, at least. Lights on the beach. Diverse activities daily (not the same). Also, the 'sound system' speakers were terrible.
