The rooms are decorated with taste and sense for a personal touch.I especially liked the big balcony and the quietness of the hotel. I found the dining/breakfast room not very inviting, but that's only a detail.
A very nice and moderne hotel. Well equipped. Good beds and big rooms. Friendly personnel and a super breakfast
Not cosy. Reminds of a hospital.
Nice clean big room, nice design of the hotel, great food, quiet, Spa / Relax facilities. Keep in mind, it's not a spa hotel. No swimming pool, and the spa facilities is rather small (but what's there is good).
Very nice, nothing wrong and good restaurant
Fantastic hotel. Nothing to fault. -
Very friendly and flexible staff They lived up to my expectations
A nice and relaxing location, spacious and stylish rooms. Good restaurants in Laren, but you need a car to get there.
Very competitive price compare with other hotels in Denmark. I'll definately stay there if I travel there next time.
The employee were very friendly and the optic and design was great. The rooms were very nice and big.
Restaurant Poor WiFi connection in room - excellend elsewhere
25 min drive from Legoland, and walking distance to the city center. Friendly and helpful employees. The breakfast was a bit limited…
Very large room. Comfortable beds. Very good facilities.
Excellent staff always smiling, great breakfasts.
Nice hotell for the family. Large family room, quiet location, easy walk to Vejle city.
Nice hotel for the family (7 persons)
Friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice size of the rooms Rooms could be better cleaned, quite noisy between rooms.
This met our needs very well in that it was convenient for Vejle and provided a good size room and adequate facilities for the family.
The kindness and the hospitality! everything was just perfect!
The room seemed quite big, even with two adults and two children. It was near the city senter and in the same time in quiet surroundings. Perfect for us with small children.
The pool and the view
Everything. And breakfast
The location is very nice
As I rated above. No shuttle bus to go to the city center
Food was just great. Service all over very good, partly better than expected. Fitness room and sauna ok. I will definitely go back. No free weights in the gym. Pool was a bit on the cool side for me - perhaps as I was still recuperating from a flu.
The location. Very relaxing area and the hospitality of the restaurant. Also very good food.
Location was very good. We like the environment and nature and we will come back some time if possible
The location was kind of unique and beautiful, but unfortunately also a bit tricky without own car. Swimming area was nice and breakfast good.
The view from the room of the beautiful Vejle Fjord. The location that gave us plenty of possibilities for walking and jogging in the forest We did not feel welcome on arrival. The receptionist gave wrong information on a number of services, the restaurant did not offer full a la carte menu, the breakfast was too much cafeteria-style, which you would not expect from a 4-star hotel.
Old-world ambience, location in centre of town (but this was also a problem!), excellent breakfasts. Location right next door to very noisy cafe/nightclub - loud music until 4am every morning. Very hot - no airconditioning, no ceiling fan (and we only found out on the last night of our stay that we could borrow a (very inefficient) fan). Lift was miles away from the reception area, up two flights of stairs. We weren't told about an alternative easier access at ground floor level. Although information book promised coffee/tea in lobby, staff at front desk knew nothing about this.
Lovely big hotel room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast buffet. Our room was on alleyway next to 2 bars. It was very, very noisy and made it difficult to sleep.
The staff were polite, helpful, welcoming and professional, as well as speaking excellent English.
The hotel is full of character. We've stayed there three times now but we were disappointed this time. The staff were pleasant enough and but could have been more helpful. Our child was ill during the night; the receptionist gave us a long list of doctors' telephone numbers to try but did not offer any to ring on our behalf. Fortunately my wife speaks Danish but the receptionist did not know that. I have eaten there twice in the last month and both times my meal was virtually inedible, over-cooked and over-salted.
The hotel is charging "a´credit card fee" on top of the price agreed with the booking.com !
nice room, athmosphere, good breakfast old bathroom
Very nice location and a lot of attention for design details Too bad typical Danish uninterested "service".No indications whatso ever in the whole hotel. No staff at the reception. No diner possibility at 8.30 pm.Breakfast finished at 10 am.Extremely expensive bar Coffee 10 Euro's!!!!!!!!!!
It is an excellent place to relax and unwind. I felt that time stopped and could find myself again.
The staff was very helpful and service minded. The spa nice and had a very relaxed atmosphere as did the rest of the hotel. The room was big and very comfortable and we had a very good view over the fjord.
Very impressive buildings, good facilities, excellent breakfast. Generally pleasant staff. Chipped coffee mugs (for hot drinks handles would be better) in room. Cleanliness not up to the standard expected of a 5 star hotel. No offer of help with luggage even though reception some way from our room. Tea coffee supplies in room minimal.
Breaskfast is excellent! Staff at reception are very polite and delivered a good service. The spa facilities is very good.
perfect spa, good food
The nice suroundings outside.
Best hotel I've ever stayed at! The nicest and most helpful staff. None ;o)
really nice interior
The building was nice, and as the hotel is located in the countryside, the parking is free. There was a sauna and a swimming pool. Breakfast was ok, there were lots of fruit available. It took us app. 50 minutes to drive from the hotel to Legoland. The room was so hot when we arrived around 7 p.m. The sun was shining directly to our room and the curtains were up. It was rather difficult to sleep the night in such a heat.
the hotel has a lovely thatched main building, but most rooms is in an 80s style side building, which is not quite as quaint, but perfectly adequate. Hotelstaff very friendly - especially important as we were travelling with a 5 months old baby. Very good value for Denmark, although you need a car to stay there as it is a bit far away from any city centre. Lovely location though. Not very good access for prams/wheelchairs (the reception was very helpful and gave us a ground floor room, but there was still a few steps to be negotiated from the parking (alternatively there was direct (no steps) acces from the back of the building, but in order to access that entrance one had to go all the way around the building)
Easy to find, for transit travellers. Kind reception stuff. is time to make some refreshing works
Will avoid this hotel in future What a disappointment. Overpriced room. So small and so outdated. No ventilation. Windows (only one) was blocked to open only 5 cm !!! And that during the hottest week in Denmark. Temperature at night rose up to 28 c in the room. At checking out some obscure enviroment tax was billed which was refunded after heavily protesting. Paying with my (foreign) creditcard cost me 28 DKrone !!! (Mind you € 3,76 !!) 5% of the room price. This is insane and consider a rip off. I am thinking to file an official complaint to the Danish Board of Turism for these outragious costs.
Nice, old building but modern facilities. Good and multicolour breakfast The receptionist was maybe too strict with passport and other paperwork when I arrived with tired child- she wanted to get everything straight now.
Very good hotel, luxurious rooms, very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Although the central location is near Fredericia beach and Kolding, the hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere.
Friendly staff Sauna was not working
Location, building and bedroom were fine. There were only two waiters present during dinner. As the restaurant was fully booked and a wedding-dinner being served in the hall next to ours, it took them three hours to serve our three-course meal!!! People began to grow impatient, but they did not care. moreover, dinner was far too expensive. Beware of the eko-tax and the credit-card-tax the charge!
location, surroundings, room too small, noisy ventilation system,
We used this hotel during our visit to the Medieval Ages Festival and it was just perfect. We used our own car, and it took us about 5 minutes from the hotel to the city center. The staff was very nice and the hotel was good! I liked the idea of serving organic food in the breakfast menu, but I wish there was more organic food. Could hear a little noise/music at night, but it got quiet again at about 1 AM.
Hotel in general was good, Breakfast was good and location was really good...! too expensive
Central location, good and close parking, well arranged for smokers Too narrow double-bed, small room
below standrad and for sure not a 4 star property as you advertised room: no curtains, mediocre bed - not suitable for 2 people due to bad quality when one person moved the othe rdid the same wave. Surcharge on creditcard being foreign (same card made for booking)
The staff are very helpful and a good location with a very blended design of the hotel dining area. We had booked and paid for a triple room but the size of the room given to us was barely adequate for two beds not to mention three beds. The additional bed given to use had to be placed next to the entrance door. Besides, the bathroom needs a complete refurbishing considering the hotel classified as a four star.
Clean and convenient with helpful staff Extremely stuffy rooms (we were only told fans were available the next day) which resulted in our needing to open the windows. This was not ideal with numerous cars driving in the area and (very) late night revellers and arguments outside till about 3am. Not a good night's'sleep at all!
Nice quiet location in the citycenter. Nice breakfast. Dont expect a normal 4 star hotel -but the price is very reasonable, so ok value for money.
nice location.very close to bus station and train station. break fast was good. no room shoos. no bath-tab.
Breakfast was good. Too much money for such a small basic room...I expected more for the money.
Central location and helpful efficient staff Our room door needed re-fitting (difficult to open & close). The shower room door was disintegrating at the bottom due to proximity to the shower. Room 302.
.Nil. This is the worst Hotel i have stayed in, it is more like a Truck Stop
Atmosphere, staff, hotel history
I enjoyed my stay, as a former hotel owner. I was very happy with everything. I needed something near the highway, I used it as a local base. Nice size single room (even a double bed) Top work folks
excellent breakfast / free PS2 / free internet access
modern , clean , fresh
Silence, cultured service of hostess, perfect breakfast, flexible problems solution.
Clean room, nice breakfast.
The hotel is very well situated, modern but cosy, high sleeping comfort and the staff is friendly and helpful
Excellent and friendly service at check-in and nice and clean room We got a smoking room by mistake, but quickly changed
clean room, good breakfast no minibar
Location is fine and staff service ecellent and very helpful. Rooms are modern and comfortable especially those with view over the park. Brekfast is good as well. In reception is a very convenient small shop with soft drinks and sandwiches. The wireless internet was problematic and only after long time and special help from reception we managed to connect one of our two laptops. Parking is just outside but it costs DKK 80 overnight. The hotel resturants were closed the day we stayed but fortuneatly there is a nice italian resturant nearby. Seems that nearly half of the rooms have view over the parking place and a plain brick wall opposide but on the other side is a very nice view over a quiet park.
The room and the bathroom were okay. Parking area was also good. The breakfast was poor (bad-tasting juices, e. g. orange juice!). The value for money is not good.
The hotel was lovely. The food was wonderful. The staf was most courtious and kind NO
Location and service
as they say location location location no...
the quietness the fact that I would have to pay to have a swim in the pool
the location was great Very small room at the level of the hotels with only 2 stars. We were not able to sleep due to the people in the rooms doing parties.
Beautiful location, old sanatory building, luxury clean rooms, great garden, quiet and silence around, fifteen car minutes from the highway at Vejle. Lovely thermal baths and sauna's, good and complete breakfast buffet. Businesslike but friendly staff. / Prachtige lokatie, oud sanatorium gebouw, luxe en schone kamers, mooie parktuin rondom, rust en stilte rondom. Vijftien autominuten van de snelweg bij Vejle. Heerlijke thermale baden en sauna's, uitgebreid en luxe ontbijt buffet. Zakelijk maar vriendelijk personeel. Like someone wrote before: the car navigation system ends in the middle of a small village, three kilometres under Stouby, follow the road for six hundred metres, it ends at the Hotel Vejlefjord. The Booking.com website does not give the information, that the Thermal Baths and Sauna's kost 350 D.Kr. extra for six hours.
Good location for business, staff warm and friendly, pleasant views and food excellent
Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast Service. Breakfast table not filled on, if you arrive an hour before closing there is hardly enything left.
Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff did not seem to know what was happening.
A very pleasant stay, the spacious and airy room was peaceful and the toys were great for my toddler
Very pleasant owner. Countryside, quite and silent. It was little bit cold water in the everning (seems to me i was last) and wasnt shower gel, but morning shower water was pretty good. Breakfast consists of plate with goods from the shop. So better go to the shop before and buy everything you want for the morning- hotel has freezer and exellent equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea for free anytime. But no more problem!
We (two adults) stayed for three days and enjoyed every minute. Anne the proprietress was delightful and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The farm (where the B & B is located) is inviting and tidy with lovely country of fields, forests, fjord and a few horses. Great! We had to share bathroom facilities with a couple of other guests, which I resisted at first, but as it turned out was no problem at all. The bathroom and toilet facilities (with warmed floors) were modern, large and exceedingly clean...better than my own at home.
Unusual converted farm buildings of clever design, lovely views and tranquility, pleasant hostess who made good breakfast. Share of bathroom which also had the only toilet - very difficult.
Location is a bit remote BUT wortwhile the slight detour.Warm welcome by the owners and in a very pitoresk countryside environment. Nicely decorated very clean. Better to spend a few days there instead of overnight! BBart, Dian, Sanne, Christian.
Located in a calm farm area. Very clean and nicely decorated. Best value for the money you pay. A very nice place where to stay for some days.
Very Friendly staff. Rooms are nicely decorated. Hotel is in a rural location
Great staff- anything we asked for we got. Room decor and linen/towels a bit sad
Could not cross the room without climbing over beds (family room with 4 beds).
Liked the free bowling 17:00-18:00 and the fact that there was a swimming pool, and the free internet, that was sometimes available. The shower head - we had to hold it over our heads ourselves as the fixture was broken and it seems they have stopped repairing the hotel. We got an extra unadvertised surprise that did not intend to clean the room for our entire one week stay, no emptying of garbage or new towels. We were told that this was a feature of our DTF Travel package which made it cheaper, but this was not in the advertising and not welcome. The swimming hall was really run down and rust is peeling along pipes at the wall, fungus in the shower ceiling. In the advertising it is said to be close to Legoland (try 45 minutes on high speed motorway). It is not close to anything, apart from the local city of three shops and of no interest to anyone, Brædstrup.
Good location, friendly staff. Our dogs also had good time with us.
food was great and service in restruant. Room out dated, old and small
We liked the location - very sentral in the city The staff in the reception was not professional enough in such a hotel
