Tub drain slow, towels had stains
Not one single thing We arrived with another couple and booked our rooms. The manager told us he only had one king room, so we took it and the other couple had paid for a king room online but since there were supposedly only double rooms left he then charged them extra for a double room, even though they had booked a king room. Typically if this was to happen a hotel would not charge extra. After the lengthy check in process the manager gives us the card keys and an actual door key because as he stated, "sometimes if its humid the card keys wont work". It was not humid at all, however the card keys in fact would not work. We opened the door to our room to find a trash can full of food waste. You could tell the bed had been slept in too and we could not get the key back out of the door. I went to the front desk to say something and just so happened the maid was in there and apparently the room did not get cleaned at all. So the maid would get it clean and we were to wait, the manager did come get the key out of the door. In the mean time the couple we were with went to their room to find a huge water puddle under the sink and the fire alarm beeping. They went to the manager as well and he told them he would have someone come up there and fix it all. We decided to go to dinner since we were having to wait around anyway to get into our rooms. Came back from dinner to find our room semi-clean, however upon opening the door we couldnt get the key out again. The 3rd couple that was with us arrived while we were at dinner and low and behold they were able to get a king room after we had just been told they did not have any more king rooms available. The 2nd couple checked their room to find the puddle still there and even larger and the fire alarm still beeping. We went back to the front desk and the man we had dealt with in the beginning had left and the night manager was there. We told him our key still would not come out of the door and the 2nd couple inquired about why they couldnt have a king room and if they could move since nothing had been fixed and obviously they did still have king rooms. He told them that the manager had told him NOT to move them under any circumstance. This appauled us all, we've never been trested that way at a motel before, usually if something happens to be wrong or there is a problem they want to make it right. The man then came down and showed my husband how to get the key out of the door. You have to stick your finger in a little hole on the door and hold the lock then giggle it the right way while holding your tongue and hope that it works. Needless to say we did not stay, we went and turned in our key and just drove home. That place is disgusting and just plain nasty. Next time we will just spend an extra 25 dollars and stay somewhere where we wont be afraid to touch anything. The manager was so rude and just not helpful at all. Terrible experience!his place really needs to go ahead and shut their doors.
The bed was fairly comfortable and the room had an orange wall. I like orange. Hotel looked pretty decent online but was dirty all around. It was supposed to be a nonsmoking room but it wasn't. Bed sheets were stained, pillows smelled like BO, stains on the walls, the heater enclosure fell apart when I turned it on, the shower went from hot to cold repeatedly.
