The room was clean but stocked at the bare minimum. Not enough towels, soaps, etc. Breakfast wasn't fancy but fine.
Right off the main hwy, construction everywhere, loud. Ice machine was broken (one of the reasons I stopped) We needed ice in our cooler. Pool was drained and not in use. When you travel with kids, the pool is important. Those two things were a disappointment right away. The washer and dryer were old and run down. A few shady characters around the hotel made you nervous of car theft. The main lobby doesn't have a restroom. Weird. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again.
Good TV and good bed.
I made a reservation and when I got to the hotel there were no two beds room according to my reservation. On front desk, they attended me very kindly but could not explain me why did it happen. As my family was tired, I accepted to pay more for an upgrade to a suite. It dissapointed me. Furthermore, the breakfast wasn't as good as other America's Best Value that I've been before. It would be better if they had a waffle machine on breakfast.
Right on the Highway 15-20 min from down town Houston. Very good if you are on an extremely tight budget but can get depressing. In summary good value for money but I wish I had more money to stay at a decent place down town
The reservation worked out ok. The service was good.
The lock of the room did not work and refused to let me in. After reporting and several different key-cards, the door was opened by a normal key.
cleanlinness, people better prepared to deal with customers
we had a package waiting for us but the recepcionist did not even bother to read the name on it before telling me it was not for me, baut it was and he called at 1 am to tell about it, after I great deal of calls to the sender. in addition, room had fleas and we got bites all over and manager used mosquito pesticide to kill them, which did not work and we had to sleep with fleas again. the mexicam maids were much more concerned about it than the manager hinself. we cancelled a second reservation at that location and went to la quinta inn that is much much better.
Brand new packs of cigarettes were stolen while we were gone and who ever cleaned the room. Will not be back.
friendly staff, good price
The room was spacious and comfortable. The people were exceptionally nice and friendly.
The pool was not open nor was it maintained. Also smaller than it looked in the pic.
