Pros: Magic position on a romantic lake! Perfect escape from cities and stress!
Pros: We had small cabin for 2 persons with sauna. It was very nice but to reach the second floor and the bed could be difficult for someone -for us it was ok. The area is very beautiful and the staff is very nice!
Pros: The location. The staff is realy lovely.
Cons: It's not safety for children, they must sleep high above the floor, their is ladder that's take them to there and the rung are in so large distance between them it's very dangerous. If you are looking a finish classic cottage (with privacy, private beach and sauna that you could run naked to the lake) it is not the place.
Pros: The owner is so friendly and accommodating. They set out a lovely breakfast.
Pros: Located in a small island. Possible to use boat and to go swimming or/and fishing.
Cons: Not enough light in kitchen and living room.
Pros: Very clean. In winter there is a simple xc skiing track inside the property with free equipment. The track is beautiful and easy for a total beginner. Even there is no winter activities possible at the lake, (no rowing and ice is too thin to play on) one can still have a good rest with xc skiing, fire wood and sauna in the cottage. We didn't get the breakfast but it seems the place is beautiful too.
Cons: Nothing I don't like. But it will be perfect to equip with salt and pepper. Bathroom is tiny and sauna room is not very new.
Pros: We really enjoyed our time in Aurantola, it is a fantastic place to be and a great combination between the comfort of a hotel and the finnish cottage on the shore of a lake experience. For us it was very comfortable and enjoyable to have a breakfast buffet availalbe, and we really enjoyed talking to the hosts, getting ideas and learning about Finland. Fantastic is also the large park grass space between the cottages and the facilities such as grill pavillon, beach volley, darts, and rowing boats freely available all time. We had weather luck, and really enjoyed the private sauna within the cottage - the kids liked it, a great thing to do before going to sleep, and nice to have a shower in a room with warm air.
Cons: Not a problem for us, but for some guests it could be an issue that the beds in the cottage roof can be reached only through a steep ladder, maybe this could be made clearer or more explicit in the description of the accommodation.
