the beautiful palce hotel situated no
The location, good services/facilities and the feeling to live in luxery. no
The kitchen was being redone and it was a mess downstair. It was not mentionned on the hotel description.
Location, restaurants, general setting. Room was a bit old fashioned and a bit damaged (e.g. doors), room for storing luggage was very dirty.
The garden and decorations outside of the hotel are beautiful. Breakfast buffet was nice. Located far from other resturants and shopping. Diner option at hotel was expensive.
quitness a concert in the evening in the garden so we could not sleep
restaurants good - surroundings perfect
kind staff, fancy atmosfere
Beautiful design room for 15 euro extra, excellent restaurant. Room was not made upon arrival, and it took them quite a while to fix this. An apology-drink would have been nice!
The entrance and the price.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. And the rooms were very stylish but havinmg the car park across the road was an inconvenience and for a hotel of this standard why are there no coffee / tea facilities in the room?
comfortable large modern room with exelent view parking lot accross hotel's rather busy street
Great style and design, great breakfast, excellent beds. A good place to stay for a great price.
Great staff and good food Still not sure about the lighting in the room - what's wrong with a simple light switch for the white lights! Although once you've worked it out the two remotes it is good fun!
Nice location. Freindly Staff. All spoke very good English.
The setting ( tiny, elegant village of Bronkhorst) was idyllic! The hotel and room decor were extremely charming. Ultra-modern bathroom. The village was like a movie set for a Jane Austen novel. The Dickens museum across the street was fascinating. Every Christmas the village does a re-enactment of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. No.
The hotel is right in the middle of the charming, storybook-like town of Bronkhorst. It is a tiny town, but there are lots of things to see, and many artisans' shops. The rooms at the hotel are decorated in a cozy, old-fashioned way. But they are clean and comfortable. The bed (old-fashioned style) was excellent.
Tastfully decorated, pleasant atmosphere, staff very service oriented, beautiful surroundings nothing
At the annex, called Linden, the rooms are a bit quaint but cozy, and the facilities are small but good. The tiny "town" of Bronkhorst has a lot of charm, as does the ferry to Brummel. There is also a direct road to Zutphen. There is an ok restaurant, but the one next door is really good (closed on Wednesdays).
It was quite lovely and individual a breath of fresh air after the many chain hotels nothing would love to visit again and try all the other rooms they are all furnished and decorated individually its 500years old
The ambience and location we're great! Loved the suite
The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The village was extremely beautiful.
Excellent dinner, nice & romantic atmosphere
Pleasant staff. Very clean, attractive accommodation. Good restaurant and bar. Very convenient in the centre of the village. It was difficult to have a shower in the bath under the slope of the roof.
Friendly but ineffecient staff. Beautiful location and surrounding countryside. Good food, well presented. Little if anything has been changed (I.E. decorated )since my last stay 5 yrs ago. Ineffecient systems of recording items charged to your room. Lack of response to problems with room facilities.
Friendly staff, quietness, nice shower and good price value
The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. It has wireless Internet and a refrigerator. The breakfast is good. All in all the room is good value for the money. There is no phone in the room.
Chatting with the local people who were very friendly. The room was pretty small and quite a walk with luggage.
The wood cabins were very cozy and everything was set for self service (coffee machine, small fridge, water heater, coffee & tea bags). Very close to the Hoge Velowe, great for seeing a forest upclose and getting back in touch with nature. It would be nice if they had a bike-taxi or regular taxi pickup from the station, otherwise it's a 15 min walk.
Friendly staff, room was a quiet newer cabin. Good value, comfortable bed. Wireless internet was a little spotty, but worked. I would stay here again.
Senseo, tea kettle and dvd with flat screen tv, plus very nice surroundings...
The accomadation was great very comfortable, the staff very friendly,
Very clean, great breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff.
really nice area and clean room with very quiet..
Extemely professional with very friendly and helpful service, superb food, comfortable and stylish, slightly quirky. Reasonable prices. Bedrooms could perhaps have better sound insulation.
What a feast our stay was. Such hospitality, personal attention and passion for 'bien-être' is rare these days. We had such a relaxing stay that we decided to stay an extra night. The dinner was absolutely scrumptuous; tasty and refined Italian cuisine. We'll be back!
Prachtbedrijf! Op en top gastvrij - geweldig restaurant - heerlijk ontbijt - prachtige omgeving - personeel buitengewoon vriendelijk, behulpzaam en ter zake kundig. In alle opzichten pure verwennerij.
The restaurant is lovely. The food is delicious!
Fantastic! High level of sincere hospitallity, top dinner for good price, wunderfull breakfast, good quality of the room. no remarks at all. It was a pleasure to stay there and I will come back for sure.
Warm welcome, outstanding service, excellent food, every attention to detail. Mo bad points.
So close to everything and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was quite good too. It got quite hot at night. And there are no lifts - but the staff are lovely enough to help you up the stairs which is excellent.
Basic but cheerful, friendly staff, good breakfast. Neighbouring bars and nightclubs caused some noise well into the night.
Good location in a picturesque town. Well sign-posted once in town. Rather a lot of noise at night from bar downstairs.
Large rooms, very nice style, very clean. Great location. Staff is exceptionally friendly! Nice breakfast buffet. The style of the hotel in general, it is very cosy and individually funitured. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our entire stay. If there was any downside it was the slightly enhanced noise level during the night on weekends (the hotel is located at Doetinchem's main place), so if you are sensitive, just ask for a room facing the courtyard instead of Simonsplein.
Well located in the town centre with plenty of facilities nearby. The staff were welcoming and friendly Being in the town centre it was noisey as there were bars below; although this apparently only a problem on Friday and Saturday - the nights we were staying!
The central position of the hotel in a very pleasant town.
Very convenient for town centre. Easy to find. There's not really much more to say. Hotel faces onto the main square which was very noisy with people eating & drinking until after 02:00 on both Friday and Saturday. The hotel has no bar or restaurant although there are plenty of these in the immediate vicinity (see above).
The recomendation of the associated "Hank's Bistro"
Personal service, nice traditional Dutch decoration Flat pillows, no fridge, some stairs to climb for back rooms (but elevator reaches front rooms)
Lovely location , very helpful English speaking staff , very comfortable bed , humongous sized bath (wished I was traveling with a female !!!). Clean nice towels and bedding , room was clean and comfortable. We didn't sample breakfast as we had to make an early start but from the look of the restaurant and the food being served I'm sure it would've been great. I had booked a double twin bedded room but when arriving all that was available was a room with a double bed. We were then offered a double room each at no extra cost to ourselves. I recommend this Hotel 100%. Cost of Taxi to the centre of Nimwegen for a night of drinking. So not really applicable to the Hotel itself but be warned a Taxi is approx 20 euros inc tip.
excellent service, rooms and food n/a
The friendliness of the staff and facilities can be recommended. The hotel staff recommended a lovely ´dwarf-treasure-hunt´starting right outside the hotel. It is a beautiful walk of about one hour and our children loved finding all the hidden dwarfs along the way. The only think I can think of is that the evening meal service was a bit slower than we would have liked due to having our young kids with us, but for others couples having a relaxing evening it would be perfect.
You were instantly welcomed, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with good choice. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable including the bed. We would recommend it thoroughly and if ever we would return to Beek this would be our choice of hotel every time. Nothing
The reception staff were very friendly. No information was available about bus services. The room did not have tea/coffee facilities. I was in the annex and while there were notices on the external doors to close doors quietly I was awoken twice by fellow guests leaving at 6am and 7am.
Comfortable bed. Too much noise outside our hotel door, staff shouting & slamming doors etc etc.
In-house free parking, good breakfast. Internet connections was down during my stay. Staff could be more congenial.
A very nice old hotel with homely atmosphere and an exelent restaurent and nice staff.
The restaurant was quite nice. On the basis of the description, I expected the hotel to be situated really in the countryside rather than in a suburban area. The room as well as the hotel in all looked a bit tired.
