tranquility, size of room
Very nice staff, excellent rooms. The SPA had very restrictive hours. The breakfast should be better in order to keep up with the rest.
Well equipped, comfortable rooms with good lighting. clean, quiet and well placed for our trip.
This hotel is secluded and quiet. The rooms are extremely well appointed and the staff is courteous and helpful. Internet access is free. Parking is convenient with a large lot that is much less challenging than most European hotle lots. The parking lot is outside the city wall about 200 meters from the hotel. There is a loadng zone for guests in front of the hotel. The hotel is a bit removed from restaurants. The town is very hilly and walking to restaurants is a good workout. There is one restaurant about 100 meters from the hotel.
i loved the hotel. my only complaint is that it costs 20 euro per person to use the pool. lovely hotel, great area
perfect location for exploring Cianti, palazzo fully renovated with all amenities, everything in high quality level,we would like to come back !
friendly clean quite
friendly and helpful staff uncomfortable bathroom
It is a nice hotel with excellent location in the center of a wonderful small town. Staff can speak English very well.
Good location between Sienna and Florence
Convinient location, good breakfast
Good location, good staff, well located for my needs (cycle trip) and very reasonable price for the quality.
good location, good breakfast, especially coffe have to argue with receptionist after 7 hours long drive, because they booked 2 rooms, but I just booked one and then modified booking, bathroom
The hotel was in a good location but had a bit of a hostel feel to it. The staff was very helpful though and fluent in English, which was a plus.
location, good breakfast buffet small parking. Need to use public 10min walk
Staff courtesy, ample breakfast buffet
The staff were charming and very helpful. Very pleasant setting. Pool and gardens were lovely. Breakfast and restaurant excellent. Our room (#401, in one of the newer outbuildings) was a bit dark -- particularly the bathroom. The furniture (bed, sofa) could have been more comfortable.
Nice gardens and pool This hotel is over promoted and does not live up to the claims made in its marketing. It is located on the edge of the town and is definitely not within walking distance of town as claimed. It is also not a 4 star property, more a like 3 star. Prperty is over priced and does not offer good value for money.
The room was over two floors, a fantastic amount of space. Nothing, the room was excellent.
It was a super location in the heart of Tuscany. Buses to Sienna and Florence are just up the road and a great cafe and restaurant are across the road. The Hotel had a very relaxed feel and excellent outdoor surroundings/pool. Breakfast was 15 euros per person and very overpriced for what it was. The main bar area felt souless and we saw no-one use it.
The place in general , swimming pool
Quiet accomodation ,fair price for fair room. The facility "decor" is unique but something is missing for the ambiance. Maybe low frequentation that night. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was not up to our expectation. Limited amount of client (3 or 4 tables) probably account for quality of food, which was fair. Wine was just a little over price but service was good.
The location is v.good - short driving distances to San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni, & Volterra. Hotel is on the outskirts of town, but still reasonable walking distance to main centre of Colle di Val D'Elsa. The staff are all very pleasant & helpful. Only very minor things like lack of 1 or 2 ameniites in the bathroom (eg tissues)
Nice atmosphere. Relaxing. For people who like to have a quiet hotel and not crowded. The breakfast was very basic. Not a 4 star hotel quality.
This is a converted monastery that was built in the 10th century or earlier. It is an amazing hotel. Service is great and the rooms and facilities are very nice.
The buidling and atmosphere and friendliness of staff - we also upgraded our room to one overlooking the old town which was much nicer than the "superior room" we had booked which was very dark and quite plain. Too close to a busy main road and dogs barking all night. Also the restaruant was not open in the evenings and there was no room service - there were also no clear directions on web site or actual signage on the road from Sienna so we drove past etc
Spacious, historic room and freedom to come and go
Beautiful old tower, lots of charm and character, spacious rooms, friendly personnel, good breakfast. Decoration a little bit outdated, small bathroom.
near other sightseeings. relatively cheap.
If you are looking for a small paradise on a mountain, you wil find it right there. Very very quiet and staffs were awesome. Breakfats was excellent!!!! Just one thing that there is no lunch/dinner available anymore.
The situation was beautiful with good local facilities, great views and convenient for touring.
Beautiful location, huge, nicely designed and convenient rooms, great surroundings. Amazing view of the Elsa valley from the window, perfect place for a romantic retreat. Very good value for money too. If you stay on the first floor, you may be awaken by noises from the reception.
We were pleased just to be there. It was some signs of previous leaking on the ceiling, not bad at all, I just see certain details more than most of us. There is a big bed with two mattresses on he top instead of one, little inconvenience, just as about everywhere in 3 star accommodations in Toscany.
Being moved to room 5 for the last night. A lovely light room with wonderful views and a reasonable sized bathroom. The instant coffee initially supplied for breakfast. The bathroom mat (not needed and appeared dirty) and our very dark bedroom (suite for 4 nights).
Excellent staff and the B&B has been recently renovated to a very a high standard. I would certainly recommend this B&B.There was an excellent breakfast available
Our apartment in Residenza d'Epoca Torre dei Serviti was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bathroom is a bit small, but nothing to fuss about. The tower looks really impressive, view on San Gimigniano. Staff was very helpful, nice breakfast - excellent coffee, decent selection of foods. Definitely worth choosing. Casole d'Elsa is a charming place, very quiet and tuscan style. Great restaurant nearby the hotel with its own enoteca, great selection of local winen and delicious food.
The area is beautiful! Borgo Al Cerro is close to some wonderful cities to visit. It is also very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was clean and larger than expected. It's not as "kid-friendly" as we expected. My son pulled a piece of furniture over on top of him. The couches were also very uncomfortable to sit on and the cushons slid off easily. Both kids and Mommy fell off the couch onto the tile floor. The pool is not fenced in so you must watch small children at all times outside.
The views were phenomenal in every direction. The hotel is centrally located for visiting vineyards and olive groves in the Chianti region.
The hotel rooms were clean on arrival . The hotel is very isolated .Even though it over the hill you will need a car to accesss . 4 to 5 km by road & no taxi service in area .
Very informal atmosphere in beautiful and peaceful countryside with an incredible view. The apartment was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. We had a problem with the hot water heater which was quickly fixed. No, we loved the hotel.
comfort, good nature and view around, good place to take trips to historical cites in Tuscane
Great rooms in beautiful surroundings and the pool and playground is great for kids and adults. Nope, I would go back tomorrow.
The fact that it is a family hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff in the center of Tuscany by the countryside, near a picturesque medieval small village. Cleaning, noise from the upper floors, internet availability throughout the rooms, the fact that in our bathroom the heater was not working
A traditional residence in the magnificent countryside of Tuscany. Comfortable accomodation and cosy atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Definetely recomended!!!! Having a car is a necessity. -
Helpful staff, very pleasant location and surroundings, very good breakfast (excellent cappucinos!), good-sized room. Shower arrangement in the bathroom (a curtain creating three sides of the shower) is not ideal as it's impossible not to make the bathroom floor wet, but it's not a big problem. We thought dinner was OK but not special, even for the reasonable charge made.
A maid broke an expensive Murano Glass of mine and then replaces it with a soda glass. We didn't recieve an apology and the staff was very uncurtious. A maid broke an expensive Murano Glass of mine and then replaces it with a soda glass. We didn't recieve an apology or replacement and the staff was very uncurtious. The staff at the hotel were inconsiderate and completely unfriendly from the moment we arrived and until we left. The rooms are pretty but the are dirty, the bathroom stinks and the doors and windows are thin (so you hear everything). We have never complained about a hotel before but after have something valuable broken by the staff and being dealt with the way we were, I must say something. This hotel has no hospitality whatsoever!!!
Convenience for multi days of sightseeing and two great restaurants on site. A very charming villa with lots of history and memorabilla. Staff was very helpful and professional. Room assigned needs to have the shower updated.
Extreme friendliness of proprietors, food in restaurant excellent, very good location for sightseeing in Tuscany. Hope to return. Rooms could benefit from a little refubishment.
Good capuccino. Authentic location. Tennis court. Great place to sit out, watch the world go by. breakfast a bit ordinary
Good choice for price and comfort. We were in Tuscany with a friends on a holiday for couple of days. For us the big advantage of the hotel is the location with parking place. We moved very easy each day to the nearest cities in Tuscany. Room very clean and comfortable. Nice and silent garden. Breakfast was extra paid but varied. Personel very nice and helpful. We recommend the hotel at this price to traveling people for some days in Tuscany.
nice rooms, big bathroom with bathtub, great location to explore the toscana, secure parking
the hotel is ideally situtated by the crystal factory, wine cantinia, and walled cities- nice setting and enjoyed the fresh spring thought the hotel resturant was a bit pricey for dinner. the breakfast was great. they must offer a great lunch since the parking lot was packed.
Our stay at the Belvedere was comfortable and friendly. We loved all the staff and found them warm and welcoming. The meals in the Hotel restaurant were good and the croissants at breakfast some of the best I've ever tasted. The pool was refreshing!!! A bit cold for my taste but I still had several swims so it can't have been that bad! All in all a nice well run family hotel.
This is our second stay at this hotel - it is an excellent, comfortable hotel ,very clean room, with everything in order in it. Excellent breakfast buffet. We loved the breakfasts and the garden area - very relaxing. The stay was made even more enjoyable and pleasant by the friendly and very helpful staff.Speciale thanks to Manuela and Soni.I'm sure this is the best valure-for-money hotel in that area.Definatley a place we will be returning to.It's so difficult to find the right hotel in that part of Tuscany and this is the best.Free wired internet made us feel that much more comfortable!!! Thank you again for a wonderful experience!!!!
very nice place owner very accommodating breakfast lacks no eggs no coffee ( very bad)
clean, comfortable room. friendly staff The surrounding area was a bit rundown
Nice room, very very clean, warm welcome, everything you need for a perfect holiday! It is close to San Gimignano and Siena and the village itself is beautiful and calm. Free parking close to the house.
Quiet, cute little town in the Tuscany area.
Le Tre Perle is a B&B set very close to the old part of town. Our Italian/Australian hostess was friendly and provided a good breakfast, including real toast. She was knowledgable of the area and helpful. Parking was 100 meters away but no problem to drop bags off and then go and park. A good supermarket was close by. This would be a good town to base yourself to go to San Gimignano, Chianti and Siena. For off season she was a little more expensive than what we would expect.
