Friendly staff, nice restaurant, lovely location
Everything was very good, but we particularly appreciated the excellent, amiable service, the comfortable room, the delicious meals in the restaurant and the attention to detail. All the staff worked as a team to make our stay enjoyable.
the charme not applicable
very friedly staff, beautiful hotel in old building
Nice atmospher & friendly staff Try to avoid a GF room as the courtyard can be noisy until late in the evening
service and excellent food no
just in the center of an old german village with lots of history, very beautiful pedestrain area and good restaurants (local, italian, mexican, spanish). Good breakfast with everything someone would like to see. more a personal thing - i do not like carpets in a hotel room as those are difficult to clean and i have always the feeling that they are dirty somehow (no indication though).
This is a welcoming, family run hotel. It is clean, comfortable and good value for money. The staff are very friendly and go that extra mile to ensure an enjoyable stay. It is nicely located among the bars and restaurants in the town centre and I would certainly recommend this hotel.
badkamer was super klein!
Close to the main train station
location, price, and the room was pretty nice too. that there was not one phone for customers on the premises. and that the doors did not have peep holes.
The staff was sometimes really not proffessional and made the impression like they can not handle the reservation from booking.com. We had almost every day a new problem. The breakfast was simple and the place for so many guests was to small.
Excellent location. Reasonable price No phone in the room.
Convenient to downtown, shopping and train station. Internet access in room and good breakfast.
Conviently located and affordable.
The cleaniness of the room and the excellent buffet breakfast.
Modern design, w/great work of space, a queen size bed, and a totally new & fresh vibe to the room w/a nice view looking down the street to downtown Wiesbaden. Location was super close to the train station as well. Breakfast was tasty too!! Great place w/an exceptionally great price!! Thank you Motel One, I'll use you again!! Have already spread the word to my daughter whom wants to come in August next year.
Excellent location, clean and quite spacious rooms, good breakfast selection. Underground parking lot with direct access to the motel. Lady at the reception desk was not particularly courteous.
Very convenient location to rail station, shopping, thermal baths, and the city centre. Very efficient front desk service, calming decor and comfortable lobby.
Excellent location, simple but stylish hotel, clean..perfect !!
It was conveniently located and fairly easy to find. I also liked their energy saving technique of using the key card to activate the room electricity. I didn't like the extra expenses of overnight parking and breakfast. There is no where to park except in the attached parking garage. The discount offered by the hotel to park there was negligible. The breakfast, although very good, was too expensive for what was offered. When checking in, the staff does not inform you of little things, like purchasing the parking discount before you park or using your key card to activate the electricity. It would have saved me from having to figure it out on my own.
Proximity to rail station and old town
comfortable bed and pillows no free wifi in room
The room is new and clean. And it is not far from the station. The coffee machine is very dirty. I am not dare to use it.
welness club the staff in reception was not helpful at all
Very wide range of choices for breakfast. During night, there are only a few staffs available. Due to this fact the service required was delayed so much.
location cheap foam pillows not down like elsewhere in Europe
Absolutely nothing appealed to me. The staff (especially reservations and management) were arrogant and inflexible.
The comfort of our room (junior suite) and the location to explore the delights of Wiesbaden. I was a little disappointed that the breakfast buffet was not staffed particularly around the cooking area. I would have liked an omelette.
Large business hotel near main railway station and 10 minute walk to main shopping area. Free internet at reception, if you can cope with the screen a long way from the keyboard and at a 90 degree angle. It would have been appreciated if anyone at reception had actually smiled at me at any point. The check-in and check-out was fast and efficient but near robotic. No eye contact, no welcome when I arrived, no "did you have a nice stay" when I left. The food in their expensive restaurant was strangely disappointing and all the staff had vanished when I came to leave. They do not replace used glasses in the room.
I really needed to Stay in Schloss Hotel and play golf daily.Unfornuntely because of rains I could play once only. Otherwise stay was comfortable.Availability Of Taxi from hotel to Kronberg Station & Vice versa is a problem. I had to walk on 3 occasions. Already stated above....Taxi issue.
Hotel and staff were flawless. The hotel was magnificantly regal, well kept, and comfortable. The staff exhibited the utmost professionalism in service and attention. Staff members were courteous, friendly and helpful - no pretense. The food and wine selection in the dining room were outstanding. We were more than satisfied with our stay at Schlosshotel Kronberg.
Everything exceded our expectations. The hotel is a farytale castle, in a fantastic royal park, now the most beautiful golf course in Germany. It is full of works of arts and the staff looked after us in an unforgetble maner.
This is a very good hotel, if you have the money go and visit it, if you don't have the money, you should probably also go. The building is very spectacular and makes up for some minor shortcomings.Nice garden. Good staff. With about 50 rooms it is not crowded. The Superior room I had was good enough. There is only one small elevator, they do not have draft beer. The beer as well as soft drinks are for some unknown reason all served in wine glasses. The breakfast is less spectacular as is possible in larger hotels. But it will do. The combination free minibar and many alcoholical beverages in a minibar probably gave some complications, so the minibar is free, but if you want strong liquor in your room it is roomservice or bring your own bottle. There are just 2 beers in the minibar, the rest is soft drinks. These minor drawbacks are more than compensated by the positive points of the hotel, so for me it is a perfect 10.
we liked the royal atmosphere ,nice breakfast terrace, gardens ,cleanliness ,minibar for free unfortunately no airconditioner in the rooms ,we had to keep the windows open and flying insects were coming in the room wich scared our children
A nice touch in the heat of the summer was that none alcoholic drinks were provided free of charge in the mini-bar.
Highly recommended, excellent breakfast & restaurant.
Staff was very helpfull & the hotel was a grand old world castle !!!! Very good value for the price. no
Really amazing old castle! Worth of money. I thought germans are good to organize but the record keeping of breakfast guests changed each morning.
Beautiful hotel No airconditioning
THERE BREAKFAST HOTEL IS OVERPRICED FOR THE SMALL ROOM WE HAD
Excelent staff. Valet parking was $20 Euro for 1 day which is a little pricy in my mind.
not the monwy worth it:
Other than the price, this was one of the finest hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. The restaurant, Ente, is also outstanding.
elegent and luxury hotel with a reasonable price the access to the spa very complicated
1. Thermal swimming pool in the hotel 2. excellent SPA 3. good location 4. good restaurants 5. comfortable rooms
Everything was great. Iwish I was able to stay longer Had a change of plans and had to leave early in the morning. COuld not properly enjoy the facilities.
The hotel was nicely located the staff were very nice and friendly and very helpful the services was excellent Nothing
good location, very expensive breakfast
Price and comfortable hotel. Very close to A3. It was an excellent start of our holidays. I would like to see a clear route description from the A3
Friendly helpful staff...very spacious, very clean rooms. Ideal for my disabled Nan with the shower at floor level. Unfortunately the pool opening hours are not great...it was just after 6pm local time when we arrived and after a well deserved beer I found that after 7 hours of travelling I couldn't take my daughter for the promised swim
Buffet (incl. F/L/D) provided food is worse. But the another restaurant is good which located in E/floor.
Free internet service.Quiet and relaxing
Very close to highway!
staff was very friendly and efficient pillows on bed could be better; internet access too expensive, could be free nowadays!!
We were entirely content with the service, hotel facilities, etc. Only one thing: breakfast price was a bit expensive.
The hotel was great! Very clean and comfortable. No pool!!!!
Far Away from Frankfurt, no Internet, too expansive(Prise exklusive breackfast)
Nothing of note, clean, comfortable, did the job, an overnight stay
Locaition. Building.breakfast.facilities at the room Cleaning of the room
breakfast swimming pool out of order
Very helpful staff at front desk. Allowed us to check in early AM due to early arriving flight. Need more & better info re use of spa facilities. No safety info re use of eg sauna for first time users
Very friendly and polite staff. I found food leftovers in the minibar and clearly visble dirt (a sort of white flakes with a diameter of approx. 4 mm) in the bathroom under the sink.Very discomforting to put it politely.
Noisy room, noisy air conditioning, noisy and vibration from people walking in the corridor, carpet with holes in, noise from equipment outside room, old-fashioned, small dark rooms, poor breakfast, slow service
Everything about the hotel was great. The service that we received from the staff at reception were exceptional. They were all well informed and helpful.
Very friendly stuff. Rooms were quite big and compfortable. WIFI was available but did not work neither in my room or my colleague's room. Spent 4 days there and did not manage to connect to internet within this time. Would have expected that stuff takes it more seriously and tries to fix the problem.
The staff are wounderful. They are very helpful and alwas available to help. It will be a great loss if you do not stay in Radison blu Hotel Schwarzer Bock. I hope to come back again Everything is prtfect and well studied. Is is unfair to say anegative word.
The hotel was in an excellent location, the room was large and the internet worked well. Food was only average and the room was not particularly cleaned well each day.
It was just nice
The room was a nice size for Europe. The staff was great. The breakfast is crazy expensive.
the hotel staff was not good in qiding to other location in the city .I experience this three times they never gave me the right diriction.
room was old, but clean and confortable enough.
Only two days but visit was good and will return my next trip to the area. Nothing that was not liked.
The location and the general cleanliness and comfort of the room The parking was 18 euros a day which I think is a lot to ask for guests staying at the hotel.
hotel staff was very nice :) more equipments for gym would be appreciated
I really don't know who gave them 4 stars! It is a 2 or maybe 3 star
Front Desk Staff Courtesy Very noisy guests kept me awake all night !!!
Excellent, helpful attitude of front desk staff. Excellent breakfast. Convenient parking. Good accessibility to the city and shops. The floor in the bedroom (room 402) was uncomfortably uneven. The charge for internet access was unreasnably high.
The service was very efficient without being effusive. Minimal toiletries.
When we arrived on a Sunday evening, the front desk didn't have our reservation. (It turns out that Kayak didn't process the booking to the Crown Plaza until after business hours on Friday). As soon as we showed our Kayak booking confirmation, the Evening Supervisor was very apologetic and found us a room as quickly as he could. His colleague ordered us a portable crib for our 6 month old son, and we were on our way to our room. Soon after we arrived in the room, a housekeeping staff member arrived with our crib and he also provided us with a bottle of still water for the baby. That was a nice touch. The breakfast that was included with our rate was spectacular. The restaurant staff was very classy and courteous and the food selection and quality was great. This hotel will be our preferred location when we travel again to the Rhein-Main area.
Near the Center, helpfull desk staff not changing the sheets, room service not 24 hours, and internet expensive
Close to town.
Very good breakfast and and the hotel beeing situated in middle of the town
When we enquired about a day trip the help we received from the reception staff, Mrs Thomas, was excellent, even better than the towns tourist information centre. Also the access to the internet was free and easy
good personnel, clean rooms and quiet to pay extra for the outside parklot
Breakfast was great; Beer Garten was a nice oasis 'hide-away' right in the city; Very attentive staff, and on our 2nd visit, got us a room with a softer bed when requested; Fun 'town-square' pedestrian area w/ yummy outside cafes, street performers, shops etc...w/in close walking distance just downhill from the hotel. Only ~ 20+ mins from the Frankfurt airport, great 1st nite (and last nite) vaca accomodations. They even offered a computer in the lobby for guests to use @ no chg. (w/ modern, fast software... Note: the keyboards in Europe are a bit different than in U.S.). A ramp on one side of the front entry stairs would help w/ luggage & people w/ mobility issues....and we allways wish for more grab bars & bathmats in European hotels.
Efficient staff, comfortable room
All of the Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpfull. The Oranien is in the centre of town and as a disabled person, I found the location ideal. We were not aware that the hotel restaurant was closed on Sundays, which meant we had to go out in rather unclement weather to look for somewhere else to eat. We don't think there was any mention of this on your site.
Spacious room in quiet surrounding just minutes from the city centre
It a treat that we plan to give ourselves as we travel to Europe each year. It is a true joy and worth every penny.
the position and charm of the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet.
quality of bed and pillows, cleanliness, bottled water in room no extractor fan in toilet, coffee machine not working at reception at 8am 24/10/2010
Staff were helpful and spoke good english. Hotel room was very nice.
At €45 per night for a double room, has to be the best value hotel I've ever stayed, pleasant peaceful location, fresh mountain air, but only a few miles from Frankfurt. Dinner menu is lower end of mediocre, though occasional buffets are better, and several agreeable restaurants with 1 to 5 minutes walk
Nice breakfast! Beautiful gardern! Nice service! We enjoyed our stay! There was a public event at the hotel on one of the days and parking was full. We ended up parking our car far away from the hotel and had trouble with carrying our luggage.
It was very quite location, and in generally it was OK. Internet access was terrible. If your wireless internet access can not be support well, then please arrange wired internet. I could not recommend your hotel due to the internet access.
The location is excellent and the toilet is good. The elevators worked well and the basement was cool. The clerk placed us in a room between partyers staying awarke until dawn. The whole 4th floor was filled with the Muslim familiies except tor us and one other couple. The management allowed an engagement party to pray Muslim style and play music all night. They also slammed doors and talked in the hall outside our door every 10 minutes until 5 AM. We got very little sleep. All of the rooms get signiicant road noise as the hotel is on a busy street and has no AC or fans.
Our friends live in Bad Soden, so it was excellent location. Arranged to meet friends in bar on Saturday night at 9pm and couldn't believe bar was closed.
Quiet location; nice room onto park Breakfast too pricey; need baggage ramp to 1st floor which is not serviced by a lift; should provide in-room cofee/tea service ie heater.
Wonderful peaceful atmosphere. euro for euro, one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and there's been a few...
I like your patience and the breakfast was very very good for vegetarians. My room was look into the square and unfortuately It was not possible to sleep with opened window because of a loudy speaker visitors (there was very loudy room and to tell the truth I dislike it).
the area no
Style from 70th, but comfortable and fair price. Quiet location, easy parking. indoor parking stink. Just park outside.
the quiet neiborhood , parking availabilities, very good breakfast, nice staff, the entrance of minibar girl during the stay to check the minibar.
Clean, nice staff, rich breakfasts, comfortable dining room A few more stairs from garage to the lobby (i.e. no lift)
the room was suburd (we stayed in 706) when checking in the personnel was not really friendly. they spoke to you without looking at you. at the reservation we ask for a children's bed, and when we got to our room, late at night, the bed was standing outside the hall. not even in our room!
The staff were very friendly, after a tough day it was a pleasant arrival!
Hotel staff was exeptionally kind and helpful.
the balcony some of the reception staff
near to dkd hospital no
The hotel was very comfortable and convenient for my specific requirements. The lady at reception was very welcoming and very helpful.
Very good buffet for dinner
Good value for money especially for family with children. The drain empties extremely slowly in the shower room... it was like a pond when we used the shower.
The hotel looked very new, the staff spoke well english and were well above normal helpful. Safe parking in-house for 10 euro with direct access to the hotel. Very good breakfast, though it cost 19 euro which I find more than enough. The only thing I can say I didn't like about the hotel was poor ventilation on the bathroom sowhen showering the mirror got cloudy immideatly. That's a very minor dislike though:)
Clean room. Friendly staff. Free wireless internet in room. The room was very warm, and the cooling wasn't effective.
Nothing The noise, very poor service in the bar/restaurant, additional costs for internet use (which is ridiculous) and parking, loud parties on the weekend until 2am/ 3am in the morning right under our bedroom with a lot of cigarette smoke entering our "non smoking" room
comfortable beds very poor shower design, water gets all over the floor. Industrial location.
Hotel was very great There is no smocking zone in the hotel. So the people is smocking in front of it and it makes noise during the beginning of the night. My room was up to the front of the hotel. Otherwise, very great hotel.
Ease of booking in and out - in fact reception was well organised with very good and helpful staff. Not to keen on the buffett dinner
Both children good stay in babybeds in the room Diner was not soo good
Excellent management The housekeeping still lacks.
Very good hotel, great staff, great food but lacks room cleanliness. However, I do recommend the hotel.
The hotel was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful. Booking website said that the hotel was 7.5km from Kronberg - it was more than double this distance.
Helpful reception loaned me a map. Rip off internet charges in the rooms
This was advertizet as ski hotel but there was no skiing
