Pros: Memorable stay as our hostess stayed up late for our arrival. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was similarly roomy and the shower excellent. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We also enjoyed the wine!
Cons: The main road behind which was a bit noisy.
Pros: Although the hotel is slightly remotely located, we were taken aback by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Johannishof. The hotel seemed to really bring together all of the members of the small village and we were overall astonished by this hidden gem. The food was above excellent (both dinner and breakfast) and the room was very clean and modern. Also, we were very happy to discover the sauna, which for us Finns really was the cherry on top.
Pros: Big showers, specious extrabed for child, huge sauna, clean, cozy. Food is outstanding in their restaurant.
Cons: No cattle in the room is a minus considering that with small kids hot water is very needed throughout the night.
Pros: Room was excellent; extremely clean and confortable. Breakfast was great. Their wine (local production) is worth to try.
Pros: Lovely romantic room and very clean. Breakfast was amazing served with homemade honey, jam, juices, fresh fruits, salty delicatessen and more. I really enjoyed the authentic athmosphere in the small town of Mesenich, perfect as last stop for our Moselle Valley roadtrip. Highly recommended!

Pros: The owners were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent and the situation was lovely, and convenient for the railway.
Pros: Wonderful location. We were housed in what was essentially a penthouse on the top floor with private entrance. The added bonus - on Easter Sunday our daughters were greeted by Easter treats.
Pros: a great holiday apartment overlooking vineyards in a quiet village with a pub and a restaurant. Wine is available from the winery.
Cons: be aware apartment is accessed by an outside spiral staircase
Pros: Quiet out of the way area in a private wine growers house. Good facilities with a hair dryer towels and all the required facilities. Good continental breakfast at extra cost. There is a pub serving food near the train station, we had good food there and a warm German welcome, but there were reports of variable quality food.
Pros: Very beautiful view, plenty of wine yards all around. In middle of nature and good for bird watching. Train station is 5 mins walk away (but good to have car). Close to Trier (20 mins by train)
Cons: Bedroom had no curtain, it was very bright early morning (start of June).
Pros: It was clean, positioned in nice and quiet tidy picturesque grounds with the proprietors typically steep hillside vineyard as a backdrop. A very rewarding experience of walking through the Riesling vineyard and to actually buy various wines made in extensive cellars below the accommodation by our hosts from that vineyard. The hosts home made jams added to a quality breakfast.
Cons: In the hot weather, air-conditioning and a bar fridge would be worth paying extra for.

I slept already in more comfortable places in Germany for that value.
