Closeness to airport and free shuttle Did not find a bar or lounge open for alcoholic beverages in the afternoon after arrival
Location near airport, friendly restaurant host, showing some signs of hope with renovated parts of lobby Dated decor, moldy bathrooms, bad flourescent lighting, stuffy rooms, poor food, stern airport drivers, low-class guests, unsecure doors with no key cards and old fashioned keys
Wifi was decent, hotel staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. The room was smaller than any room I have ever seen, cruise ships have bigger rooms than here. I felt extremely claustrophobic and the pictures on here are extremely misleading.
Good option if you have to take a flight early from Narita, is the best way to avoid expensive taxis... Not 24 hour service bar in room...
Location and free shuttle buses to and from Narita airport
nice room. clean and quiet. breakfast buffet was not that good. very basic options, low on fruit options.
Facilities for disabled was excellent.
- location - convenience store - smoking room in lobby - room size was surprisingly roomy for Japan standards - ramen restaurant across the street - airport shuttle - lobby was super clean and modern -room was dated (opposite of lobby) - and was humid and moldy / dank smelling when we got in -wifi signal was terrible.
I didn't like that I had to pay for another room coz my kids are 17 and 15. when I checked In the host told me to get another room .. I have a 15yr old with special needs and the fact that he didn't understand that was beyond me. I also understand the language barrier. I didn't like I got split up with my kids and they are strict on who stays with whom. It was diffenatly a culture shock. We ended up staying somewhere else coz they were expensive. It would have cost me another thousands of dollar for another room.
it was close to the airport and the airport provided a shuttle to and from the hotel
I like the location, easy to go everywhere. I just take the shuttle bus & go to central & other places. For room, it's so nice & comfortable.
Great hotel and location. Staff was very helpful. Went out of their way to make my overnight stay awesome. They let me leave my backpack after i checked out so that i could explore the city.
I like the price definitely worth the rate. Clean and convenient Room was very small very little room to move around. Would have been not to have at less one England new channel.
It was nice to be able to hop off the train and walk less than 5 minutes to our hotel. Overall the location and staff get 5 stars! They were very friendly. Tooth brush, hair tie and slippers provided in the room. The room was very clean also! We felt like we got a steal considering how nice it was for what we paid. I would stay here again and would reccomend it to anyone on a quick layover or looking to stay close to the airport on their last night in Japan. I forgot to mention the free airport shuttle! The only things I didn't like about this hotel were the tiny rooms (but let's be honest, there's a lot to see in Narita and you'll only be there to sleep) and they charge you 1000yen to extend your check out time for every hour.
Unlike many of Narita hotels, it's right by Narita station, so that you don’t have to rely on holel' s shuttle bus to move around. Restaurant on the 1st floor is reasonable. Large buth on the 2nd floor was comfortable. Small room
Located near the train station (which now has a downward escalator so one can bring 2 pieces of luggage) Room is small but includes all necessities Slightly noisy since it's next to the train station
Everything was great. I especially liked the common ofuro. Also airport shuttle service was great!
I liked the price ($56 for a double) and the location near the train stations. I also liked the public bath on the 2nd floor and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were extremely small (even based on Japanese standards). If you are traveling to Narita via train, you get dropped off at the train station which is on the top of a hill, above the hotel. There are no elevators or escalators, so you need to carry your bags down stairs or around the block, using the road.
Nice location near two rail lines and temples. Tiny room, but fine for one person. Friendly staff. Close to airport. Far from Tokyo. Hard to get around town without a car.
Location--near to Narita Airport. Value/quality for price. Excellent room. Shuttle bus to airport and to town. Pegasus pub was closed for private party during my stay.
Staff was very accommodating. First was damp and musty smelling. Had to be switched to another room.
Nice, quiet clean place. Left my phone there by accident, and they mailed it to me.
Very comfortable mattress, free shuttle to airport, excellent value for money. I didn't like that you had to pay to use the facilities like the spa/pool.
Pleasant, spacious. A good stop off near the airport to ease catching an early flight, but not much else to recommend it. 15 mins by free courtesy bus from the airport, bus runs every half hour. Air conditioning in both our rooms did not work so it was an uncomfortable night. Seemed to be a general problem. Restaurants were not great, and there was no alternative outside the hotel.
Shuttle bus between airport and hotel. Ready-made plastic bathroom.
proximity of airport, transportation to railway station, shopping centers, shop at the hotel, green environment. no wheelchair room.
The indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi were great. Free shuttle very useful for getting into Narita town. A good hotel for anyone wanting to stay near the Airport with good facilities without having to pay too much. This Hotel is used a lot by JAL for their employees. The Hotel is a bit out on a limb but there is a free bus service to the Airport and Narita town. Internet is quite pricey at 100 Yen for 20 minutes. Virtually no shops or restaurants near by.
Breakfast was amazing. Amenities were excellent. Hotel a little old. Ceiling lamp was cool-daylight color. No pay per view at Annex building.
Nothing in particular. Cost wise, It is under performance. Room is smaller but yet cost is not so economic.
This hotel gave you the luxury of a shuttle bus to and from the airport terminals which you can grab the subway to tokyo or any other place to go to. It was a nice place to lay your head and relax since they have a spa and massage chairs. Also it's far from the busy city streets so you can walk around the garden to also relax. They said that they will change the water eveyday from your personal boiler to be clran, but some times I caught the boiler water never changed. I don't mind that yet don't say something and only sometimes keep your word.
Good location, in between Narita city & the airport. Old room but well maintained; functional, clean, included a variety of amenities. Free shuttlbuses & wifi. Nice & friendly service. Overall, "good bang for the buck"
Wonderful clean friendly
profesional stuff difficult to get back from Tokyo after 23:00, exsept using very expensive taxi!
The only good thing about the Hotel is the proximity to the Airport The hotel is old beds are too low not comfortable
great location with good connection to Narita airport. Friendly staff and large comfortable room by Japanese standards decor a bit old. restaurant options ok but a bit basic.
The service was excellent. I called the front desk asking about the free internet, and a clerk brought a LAN cable up immediately.
3 befs Pay to get in the pool
nice people at front desk. Competent and smiling. Large room. bath robe. good explanation in English of all the bottons in the room. Bus to airport and circular bus very precise. the guy at the door say goodby and thank you ! the concierge (evening did not speek English. The kitchensmell around the lift area
It was pretty good for transit. Whenever I come to Tokyo, I stay at Tobu Narita Holiday Inn. Nothing
The economic value and location to Narita Airport was the main reason we booked a room at Narita Tobu Hotel Airport. The free shuttle transport to the airport was very efficient. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was convenient and economical for us to have a quad room for 4 adults. We did not eat at the hotel nor use any of the facilities. We basically used the hotel for sleeping and transport to the airport. It fit our needs perfectly. We had difficulty connecting to the internet on our phones to retrieve our boarding passes online.
The free shuttle and in-room wi-fi. Very convenient to get from airport to hotel via the free shuttle at bus stop #16. Check-in was fast and efficient. The hotel was very quiet. There was a children's playroom although my child didn't play in it, nice to have. Wish there was more dining options.
Nice American type room very large for Japan and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was on the expensive side at over $20 but the quality and variety of the food made it worth it. They also have a large bus that does runs to Narita airport.
Clean, nice scenery and helpful staff
Good location and breakfast had large selection with good quality Room was not as advertised do not get stuck in the older wing of the hotel, was very old and run down, requested to be moved and was moved, staff was fantastic.
The service was stellar and blew away my expectations. It was comparable to past 5 star experiences. The kettle was confusing to use and didn't get hot enough.
The front desk was very accommodating. We checked in and when he found out we were not flying out til 5pm, he gave us a late checkout no extra charge. It was a very relaxing stay
Breakfast and room. Can't think of anything.
All overall we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly the rooms were very clean but a bit older. The hotel is a little far from shopping but it's nice and quiet. The only downside was the shuttle buses to and from shopping and the airport. The buses were not driven well and they had a strong odor. I would have no problems staying there again the staff was fantastic.
I stayed one night on my way out of the country and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel is about a 30 min shuttle ride away from NRT Airport so budget your time carefully.
Lobby was nice. Room was good Bathroom was very outdated. Bathroom was a 2 star otherwise a nice hotel
Everyone was very helpful and with out question there the kindness staff I ever meet. I had less worrys when the staff speak in English. I know only a little Japanese. I could go on and on. Simply to put it. If your looking for a great hotel with out the terrifying prices then look no further. You have found what you are looking for. Please stay and enjoy the service there.
Great value! For what we paid, I was pleasantly surprised. Wish they had a fitness center
Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent value. Free shuttle from airport. Very close to the airport. Restaurant and garden on premises. Kimonos provided for each guest to use during stay. Would stay there again. Dirty air vent. Bathroom floor and sink were not as clean as they could have been. No wash rags. Could feel springs through mattresses. Only one pillow per guest.
No frills hotel, I got 2 nights for $60ish USD, cheaper than the capsule hotel and probably more comfortable than the capsule. Employees were great. There's a 7/11 in walking distance. None really, except the mainland Chinese guests. Rude and loud. Can't really do anything about that.
Koi pond The nasty sheets, comforter wasn't clean and the bathroom was grimy
Even though the hotel was away from Narita station, the frequent shuttle bus made us possible moving around.
clean, well appointed room with good wifi internet connection; convenience store downstairs, free convenient airport shuttle
Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was good size and the bed was very comfortable. We missed the airport shuttle but a couple of mins so they gave us a complementary taxi voucher. This hotel is the best value for money on our 1 month travels!
This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at in Japan (we went to Hokkaido for tourism) and it included a free airport shuttle, breakfast, and lots of toiletries — even a razor — which we really needed. Great value for the price. Sort of a small bathroom
spacious room and english speaking/ helpful receptionist bath tub is dirty :-( I took a dip then realized that the water is too murky!
Convenient airport shuttle. Booked a non-smoking room, was giving a smoking one. When asked to change rooms I was told there where no rooms available.
Close to airport, free shuttle to and from airport, narita station and shopping mall.. Which all other hotels around the airport offer for free as well. Arrived at 12 pm front desk lady tried to get me to pay 700 yen per hour and check early, all I wanted to do was to leave my bags and go out to eat. Hotel is our dated, not Japanese cleaning quality at all. Room was too small, tv is micro screen smaller than your pc monitor!!
Close to Narita airport. Nice to have a free shuttle into the city of Narita itself. Lunch buffet was limited in selection but staff was very hard working and being extremely helpful and gracious. This hotel is geared for large group travel or business travel requiring no more than two days maximum. Lobby was extremely noisy by a large group of mainland Chinese while the staff did nothing to quite them. They said it was normal. The bathroom in our room had mold and mildew along the walls. We experience an earthquake during our stay (7.8 at the epicenter) and was surprises to find the elevators still operating. The staff did not contact any guest, regarding the earthquake, either by phone or in person to see if guest and building was well. We have had experience with earthquakes and their reaction is surprising
close to the Narita Airport, with shuttle bus between the airport and hotel. the car parking place is large, quite some kinds of resturants, the garden is good also
We missed our flight and had to scramble. They provided shuttle service to Narita (free) and also shuttle service to nearby towns and mall. Great little expedition to end or begin your trip in Japan. Affordable price is a huge selling point, and staff is very generous and really helpful. We drank heavily and had a time exploring the hotel and going out on the shuttle. Note, this place has a very 60's-80's ish decor. Which was hiliariously cheese and cool. The beds are dated and the room is a bit smaller than traditional US hotels. Motel setting in a scaled hotel size.
Close to JR station, relatively close to airport (free shuttle bus) JR train takes 80min to centre, try to take NEX (free with JR pass but you have to reserve seats), is much faster
location very near the station
Very convenient for the airport and for Narita town. The rooms are large. The hotel is a bit tired and could do with a refurbishment. The carpets, although clean, were badly marked and the furnishings and decor is old.
Excellent staff even with us foreigners. Got to the hotel early and they took our bags from us. Got lost on the way back somewhat and was very very late getting tl the hotel. Found our bags in the room and staff awaiting us when we finally adequate it back. Refilled the hotel complimentaries and towels while we were gone every day. Very very small room. But we expected as much.
Great location, only 2 minutes walk from the JR Narita Station. Shuttle bus service is great carpet in the room is badly stained, air circulation in the room isn't good
It was older rooms but clean, and everyone was nice. Our plane arrived pretty late but there is no shuttle bus after 7:50 pm. I didn't realize that it was pretty far away from Airport and taxi fee was expensive. Using train will be recommended.
Good wifi service. Hot water, tea, coffee, complimentary bath items. Only one electrical outlet. TV remote wouldn't change channels.
The staff were very helpful, we almost missed our shuttle bus to the airport, and having a fussy baby didn't help. One of the guys actually went up to our room to remind us and helped us bring our luggage down while the receptionist came out to help bring our luggage to the bus, never experienced such amazing customer service anywhere. The hotel location is also very close to the Narita train station (less than a block), which is great. The room was small but cute, came with two sets of some kind of kimono and slippers. The electric outlet also woks with US chargers The elevators were tiny for a family with many luggage, we had to make 2 trips to go up and down, because they couldn't fit the baby stroller and the luggage, but it's not a deal breaker.
The free Airport Shuttle and the location next to Narita Airport The room looked shabby, the hotel does not offer breakfast. 6400 yen were to expensive for a night at such a place.
Free commuter bus from hotel to airport (v.v) was great. And also more than 2 convenient store nearby. The room was clean but I was bothered by bugs on bed. Other than that it was a nice place to stay over before going to airport.
Nice staff. Clean. Lots of extras (tea, coffee, robe, bath things). Smelled of smoke. Confusion with reserved booking. Small for long a long stay.
I like the price, a good location next to the train station, the staff was friendly and the restaurant around Narita. The rooms were kind of small but comparison to the higher price rooms in Tokyo its worth the price and not enough outlets to plug in my electronics,.
I liked that I asked for a non smoking room and got it. I appreciated the service and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Individually made omelette is a must. They have wifi but it is not accessible from all the rooms. Lobby has it but this is not so convenient.
The convenient location and clean bed. Room was heavily worn with some hair. Staff could be more friendly.
The depth of bath tub. Because I am a Japanese... They put some different type of pillows though, one of that pillow had stains without cover.
Asked for a non smoking room and that is what i got.Very picky when it comes to a room being clean and it was spotless, from the bedding to the bathroom to the floor. Great bus service to and from the airport that was important.Great value Room a bit small compered to US standards , but very normal for Japan
Stayed because of my next day flight, the place did its job and I felt comfortable. With late checkout I was able to sleep in till 2pm, flight was at 5pm It's a bit old but still running good and clean
5 min walk from terminal 1, it was close to flight and food if you don't want to go into town. Hotel was a little older, but good for a night. Bigger room than other Japanese airport hotels I've stayed at. They have a shuttle every 20 min to take you to terminals. On site restaurant available. And if landing late or too tired there are Family Mart food and drink machines. A little older but clean
Flights delayed and was able to get a room last minute and the hotel and kayak was very helpful a young mother and child the airport said there were no rooms anywhere in Tokyo got on computer and they had a room and ofered a free shuttle every 20 minutes after a 14 hr layover in the airport in san Francisco were needed sleep and thanks to them and kayak we finally got some would stay there again.
The hotel was very conveniently located close to the airport and provided transportation to and from the airport. It also had very good food outlets, which is convenient for such a location. The room was clean and comfortable but not what I expected for a 5 star hotel. The bathroom was not well maintained...
Clean and comfortable. They charge everything which includes the fitness gym. Those should be complimentry.
Great location great food and friendly very helpful staff
Hilton Narita is a really good option when you just need a overnight close to the aiport. From the airport it is 30 minutes and towards around 20 minutes. The breakfast is according international business hotel standards, really good. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. Like all business hotels, Hilton included, they can have quiet high rates, which I would not pay for one overnight. But if you do some research on the internet you can find some good deals every now and then, like I had. The prices in the bar were a bit unreasonable as well. A cup of coffee for 900 yen (about 8 euro) is expensive.
The use of the swimming pool and closeness to the aitport. Goof value for money
The location, near Narita airport was the most important point in choosing the hotel. It's excelent for 1 night stop-overs in Tokyo. There's a free shuttle from the two Narita terminals to (and from) the Hotel.
Shuttle to the airport room smelled of mold. Most restaurants were closed. They charge a fee and a high one for Wi-Fi which is outrageous these days. Very disappointing experience.
The location near the airport to take the plane back home.
Breakfast buffet was excellent. Free shuttle to the Airport was convenient. Rooms are relatively small.
International standard airport hotel with all the usual facilities
Free shuttle from Narita Airport. Comfortable and clean, although the furnishings did look a bit old-fashioned. The location is close to the airport but there's nothing nearby the hotel. So do not expect to roam around the area at night unless you're looking to rent a car or go into other nearby hotels.
The Inn was very comfortable and quiet. Extremely clean. The proximity to the airport was also very good. I was not offered a non smoking room and had to breath the stench of cigarette smoke during the whole stay. I'm not sure if they even have non-smoking rooms come to think of it. Be warned, non-smokers.
After a long International Flight, It was nice to be picked up by the airport shuttle and straight to the hotel. Pickup is once an hour. Check in was quick price was good and a nice small town to explore with the hotel right in the middle. nothing negative
free shuttle to/from airport, bilingual staff, room was large for Japan Beds were very hard (normal for Japan), breakfast was very expensive, ceiling low in shower
The location of the hotel was right in the centre of Narita town. A leisurely stroll down the town to the temple was lovely. Also the hotel did the best buffet lunch at 1500 yen all you can eat. The free shuttle bus to and from the airport made it so much easier with luggage. Would have preferred a softer pillow
Free shuttle from airport although a long wait for bus in the afternoon when i arrived Central for visit to Naritasan The room was very hot with no way of turning down the heating. I could not open the window although the reception said it would but it was very stiff.
Good, convenient hotel. Pleasant staff. One reason we chose to stay here (rather than a less expensive hotel in Narita city) was because they have a swimming pool - but it was closed for routine maintenance. This information should be known at the time of booking. They offered a pool in a hotel 10 minutes away but that is not convenient if we arrive late and are leaving the next day. We also wrote on your website that we wanted a massage - but the hotel staff were not aware of this.
Very comfortable hotel room. Within easy walking distance from JR station for carrying luggage. Good buffet breakfast and free shuttle to and from Airport. Quiet. Will come back again.
We found the location to be very convienent for local shopping and sightseeing. The close proximity to the airport and shuttle service was also a big plus.
The easy check in staff. Great English skills. Native sounding. Prompt and swift service.
Clean facilities and efficient staff. About 20-25 minutes from airport but there is a free shuttle. May have to wait for shuttle for some time
one train stop to the airport, and pretty close walking distance. Also easy to get a few taxi's from the queue over by the train station if you need 3 like I did with all of our luggage. the hotel is split into a main part, and an annex, and we found the annex first, which isn't any good for checking in, or moving luggage around. Clearer signage in English or Japanese would have gone a LONG way in the enterance of the annex, not deep in the back by the lifts to the rooms.
Very covenient for overnight stop before flying on to somewhere. Hotel shuttle bus not every hour so we just missed one and had an hour to wait
Location next to the rail road station and airport. Good Internet connection.
