The first room we got , the toilet would not flush! broken part inside. The second room, all though we ask for a NON SMOKING room, was VERY RANK with STALE cigarette smoke! Had to go down to the front desk to get some air freshener ? you would think that House keeping would have smelled it? The smell almost knocked us off our feet? AND the internet did not work!?
Staff was very helpful and friendly, very accomdatating even with our 100LB Dog
The hotel is in a nice location, and the room was clean. Unfortunaley, my stay was on New Years Eve. The floor I was on was loud with people coming and going all night. People were yelling, slamming doors and swearing up and down the halls all night, and at one point someone fell into my door making a startling noise. I understand it was a holiday night, but I was there to sleep, and that did not happen. The yelling and noise continued until well after 4am. My air/heating unit made a loud screaching noise that also prevented me from resting, so I had to turn that off as well. I was very close to checking out at 4am and asking for a refund as I was only in the room for 3 hours at that point. Due to sheer exhaustion I tried to get what rest I could and stayed, but was very unhappy that I spent the money.
would recommend this hotel to family and friends because it seems very comfortable for the price that we paid they really seem to care about you stay there, and were very helpful with places to go in the area. The area where it is located was a very nice area with easy access to the interstate.
I took two of my grandsons to Cleveland to see the zoo and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel was close to both attractions and it was very easy to get from the hotel to both places. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance which was great when you're traveling with a 4 year old and 11 year old and they've just spent 6 hours one-way in the car. The price was also affordable which is very important when traveling on a budget. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
The hotel was in a nice little town not far from downtoiwn Clevekand. The only little issue was a foul smell in the room, nothing Fabreeze couldn't cure. Some of the staff could have been a little friendlier. Overall the stay was good.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Short drive to downtown area. I would deffinately stay there again.
I recently stayed at the LaQuinta Inn and found it to be absolutely wonderful for the price. There are 12 hotels in the Independence area and I'd score this one at the top. I stayed at the Days Inn down the street...although the costumer service there was great, the hotel was old, dingy, dirty, and dated. For just a few dollars more, the LaQuinta Inn was above and beyond what I expected to receive and would definately stay there again and recommend anyone traveling to that area to stay there as well.
Love this hotel, I would most definately come and stay here again.
I booked this hotel because it was the only one in the area with rooms left at a reasonable price and I was pleasently surprised with the cleanlieness of the rooms and building and the friendlieness of the staff. It was the best stay I've had at that price.
Went to this hotel thinking it would be a cheap dump but was pleasently suprised. Just renovated and the comfort was great. All 3 members of the family slept great, the breakfast was just enough, and the location to getting to downtown was ideal. Would highly recomend this site to stay.
This is a great place for anyone looking to stay at an inexpensive, no-frills hotel. The hotel looks like it's either now or just renovated. It's very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.'
