The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good, especially the waffles. Staff was great.
Great motel. No complaints. Nothing.
Location, large room Variable staff attitude, old mattress, threadbare sheets, dirty bedspread.
It is tired
Good bed 'n breakfast without the latter. Very clean and homey. Late night street life adds to the ambience of the Ballard experience. Will stay there again.
Ballard Inn was kept very clean. The staff were very helpful with making the reservation and suggesting restaurants and parks to check out. The location was perfect if you wanted a great experience in Seattle. Lots of great restaurants in the area to eat and drink at (Ballard Annex Oyster House, Stoneburner, Bastille, Café Fiore...I could keep on naming places). Great location to catch the public transportation if you are looking to check out downtown or other areas like Fremont and Green Lake. I would definitely suggest staying at the Ballard Inn to anyone I know.
Everything! The room was very clean! The decode is very cute and modern. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definently stay again! The bathrooms are shared but very clean and stocked with shampoo, body wash and conditioner. There are a lot of cute shops and nice restaurant s within walking distance. Nothing
This place is different , and if you want a unique experience this is it. Forget the chain hotel , this is a one of a kind in a hip location , the best people watching ib town I love the unique adventure quality
Location was great, access to olympic club is excellent. I feel like it needs to be emphasized that the bathrooms are shared and not attached to rooms, I'm sure that it was mentioned in the description, but that has never been a detail that I have specifically looked for, so I must have missed it.
Location, staff Windows need replacing/sound proofing
Very clean, comfortable, great area The sports club across the street is great to have access to, but you can hear the classes being taught. Fortunately, there was a fan we turned on for white noise and we didn't hear the 6:00 am class. That's the only downside.
Extremely clean rooms and facilities, comfortable, very friendly helpful staff, great location Thought it was a little pricey considering that the shower and washrooms are shared with multiple rooms. Felt more like a boutique hostel. but everything was extremely clean and well kept.
No a great location clean rooms what a fun place to be if you're going to a concert or hanging out downtown Seattle
Very nice view of the bay from the sliding glass doors of the room. The room was large by today's standards. For the $40 a night deal I got what I paid for. The rooms was a bit outdated and there were a few little things like the toilet leaked around the base despite several layers of caulk to keep it contained.
I liked that when my girlfriend had left her sex toy the person on duty was professional and called to notify me and ask if I could return for it or for an address to mail it to. Of course I returned for it....with a smile and a thank you. I wasn't able to get to know the maid on a more personal level. I was inclined to tip her for prompt and competent service.
Pretty much everything was cool about oyster bay. Staff is friendly, breakfast is awesome, pretty much everything is good here. The need for additional cash deposit on top of my visa booking/payment online. Very inconvenient. Was not happy with this.
Breakfast was great, although to eat in your room you get charged $5/plate, But the Dining room was big, had a pretty view, as did the room. It was great for a 2 night stay with a 2 and 3 year old- clean and kid friendly, all cords were tied back and out of the way, thank goodness! The noise! there was some get-together out in one of the cabins, lots of bass-y music and hoots n' hollers. If you've got enough money to spend, they'll let you party until 3-4 am! i know at least 4 others complained to the front desk between 9-11:30 pm and the noise never stopped. I wish all guests would be treated fairly, i know if my kids kept others from sleeping, it wouldn't have been tolerated.
Place looked dirty and run down, I was afraid to sleep in the covers. The room was really small and I'm pretty sure our "queen" bed was a full. I feel like this is a place drug attics go to rent rooms, to be honest. The older lady didn't even greet us when we checked in.. It was more of "what do you want?" When we walked up. Not "hi welcome, how can I help you?" Right when I got there I called around to all the other area hotels to see if I could switch places to stay and for some reason this weekend everything was sold out. Pay the extra money and stay some where else, yikes!
Soaps and lotion, breakfast was great, very well maintained very clean and smelled good. Absolutely nothing.
The girl at the front desk was fantastic.
The location was perfect both for accessing the University and the city centre. The vintage air to it was quite nice and cosy but you have to be into vintage...
Staff was great, Location was perfect , parked the car in a paid lot close to the hotel and walked. Room with sink, bathroom (clean) down the hall. Will go back again.
1. Near University of Washington; 2. Easy access to/from outside by Public Transports; 3. Near cafe shop, restaurant and shops; Good climate especially in the summer 1. No telephone direct billing to the room no. calling outside the area, it required to purchase phone cart. 2. Required more than one toilet in each floor that ideally every 5 persons required 1 public/sharing toilet
This was much like a european hostel, but nicer. My room was furnished with antiques. The bed was very comfortable. There were many thick towels and the handsoap was luxurious. I came here, because the College Inn is located directly across the street from Gould Hall where I attended a Gala/Reunion, but I was very pleasantly surprised and I will stay here again. The location is convenient to the UW Campus and the continental breakfast was great. I got to read the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the local paper too. There is only one toilet and one urinal in the men's bathroom on the third floor.
The location is very good. Easy access to University of Washington, so it is good for students. My friends stayed there fore more than 2 weeks. One of them stayed at a single room. It was located next to the stairs. Even at midnight whenever people use the stairs, there were big noises and he could not sleep a bit. The room was not clean enough even after house keeping service. That was a big problem.
The College Inn is clean and simple and the cheapest place you can stay in Seattle without staying in someplace awful. I'll stay there again happily!
continental breakfast earliest check-in time was 3 PM, kind of late
