Pros: We went for a night with our girls (aged 7 & 3) - pool facilities were great. We didnt book in to the kids club but was considered for the eldest - playground onsite too but we didnt visit due to rain (this didnt matter). Our room was on the ground floor and opened on to the enclosed courtyard so they were able to go in and out to play. Breakfast was great - something for everyone. We also ate in the Hound Restaurant and the food was excellent! Next visit will be a trip with out the kids :-D

Pros: The welcome from Helen, the location and beautiful views, the quality of the decor, cleanliness of the room and the superb breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: great staff, very friendly and helpful
7.5 Good
Pros: The house was a dormer bungalow in the middle of the Country, surrounded by sheep in green fields. It was a very nice clean house, nicely decorated.
Cons: The host gave us a friendly greeting, however her next sentence was that we stay quiet as they were quests sleeping, this was 6 o clock in the evening. We went into town and returned at approx 8pm, and again the host requested we keep quiet as some of the quests were rising at 4am (not my problem). There was no need for this request as we are respectful, civilized people. This really put a disappointment slant on our stay. The host did rinse out and dried our wet suits. I would not stay here again. I felt she just wanted our money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helen was wonderful. Breakfast was the BEST. View gorgeous. House Beautiful. Location wonderful. Loads to see in the area.
Cons: Other visitors helped themselves to our food in the community fridge.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the landlady's obvious commitment to her guests, the beautifully kept house with so many "touches" to make one feel welcome: tea and coffee corner on the landing, range of books in the living room, lovely outdoor places to sit
Cons: the power showers are noisy, so one is woken up every time another guest takes a shower!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely B&B, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and Helen is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend.
Cons: It was a little out of the way for me but only because I came without a car and had to get taxis. Otherwise location is very pretty and rural.

Cullintra House - Inistioge - Building
8
7.8 Good (21 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Cullintra House in Inistioge, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Dunbrody Emigrant Ship and Duiske Abbey.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The setting is lovely
Cons: Unfortunately the Booking.com website was very misleading. This property's owner absolutely insists that you have dinner there every night at an extra cost of €30 per person per night. There is no heating in the rooms apart from a woodburner, no wifi in each room as stated on the website. Also, the owner will require you to pay cash and will add a charge of €10 per person per night if you book through Booking.com. The place was decent enough but when we booked we were not made aware of all of the above.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Didn't like being almost blackmailed to having dinner both nights even though we booked bed and breakfast and that was all we wanted.Didnt like being pressurised to pay cash even though the website says credit cards accepted. U
6.8 Good
Pros: It was a lovely big old country manor house. Some of the rooms don't have their own bathrooms but we stayed in a converted barn beside the house which was perfect. Dining is communal so you get to chat to other guests. The 3 course dinner is set by the host but is excellent quality. We were able to do a 4 hour hike to Brandon Hill without crossing a road.
Cons: If there is wifi, its not good. The dinner is later then I would like. Our host prefers everyone to have dinner(which suited this stay)but have your excuses ready otherwise.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great food. Very spacious. Beautiful location and the house is interesting & unique. I had my own personal log fire ready and waiting for me each evening. A short walk up to the mountaintop cairn from the yard.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was delicious and Patricia is a lovely host, very knowledgeable about the area. The house looks idyllic from the outside and is set in beautiful countryside. A real haven from the bustle of modern life. We loved meeting the other guests at dinner and breakfast and really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The house is decorated in an old fashioned "antique" style which is very charming but, whilst the house is not dirty the bedrooms could benefit from a bit of dusting. The small windows make the rooms a little dark but you do get used to this.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice tranquil location and a charming place
4.3 Okay
Pros: The house was very unusual. The food was excellent, especially the breads.
Cons: The timing of the meals was very slow. We had nowhere to put our things: no wardrobe, no chest of drawers. When we were leaving the hostess said we hadn't paid, although we had.
