We stayed in a suite. The rooms were of poor quality and very expensive for what you got. The view was not nice. There was no lift to take us up to our floor. And no help with heavy luggage. The staff were not very helpful. Service is not a priority. The doors were especialy ugly in the room made of cheap white plywood. The second toilet/bathroom was dated and small and old. It looks like it was turned into a hotel on a very small budget. We did not try eating there as environment was cold and cheap.
beautiful building, room quite nice, good dinner on demi pension. Hotel located in town that is ok, nothing special
the premium room we had was lovely but the hotel interior walls are pre-fabricated so noise travels easily. The restaurant service was a little haphazard with the wrong meal being delivered to our table. Also there is no lift up to the 6th floor from the 4th so heavy bags have to be carried up flights of stairs.
The room was lovely. Chateau setting outstanding, beautiful place. The village of Sedan wasn't very nice, not the sort of place we felt comfortable walking around at night. Breakfast over priced along with dinner.
I found even when trying to speak french to staff at the hotel some refused to even help if we didn't understand. It isn't for someone unless your french is good
The hotel has great character.
Lovely hotel - evening meal very good and excellent value for money Why tiny thin pillows in a super king size bed - big bed big pillows please
good location in small peaceful town. very friendly staff, great food in own restaurant, good price/quality , calm and dogs allowed /
It was quite an experience to spend the night in a medieval castle, although the hotel itself was modern and stylish. The hotel restaurant was excellent, we had the absolutely best dinner ever!
The four person room was of ample size to accomadate all of us even though our children were older. I would have appreciated more information about the Chateau Fort and it's history.
Clean, quiet and comfortable The table light did not work and the car park gate locks after 11.00pm. The key system to get into the car park was faulty and not fully explained... Had to wake the neighbourhood to get someone to let us in.
Refurbishment in progress, no English language tv programmes
The staff here were execellent and sopke English which helped my limited French. We had 2 young children (7 & 5) with food allergies and they went out of their way to make sure the food that we had would be okay. The area nearby is close to the main routes into Sedan but the hotel was quiet and there was little traffic noise to be heard. There were no family rooms so we had to get 2 twin rooms but it wasnt that much of a problem
Our staywas typical of what we have learned to expect from many years of using Campanile hotels for overnight stops on long journeys
Friendly personnel, Cleaning of the room
very quiete, clean and relaxing for us and the dog no
Pleasant staff - comfortable room
