Pros: Location & overall ambience, good parking, excellent restaurant & friendly staff.
Cons: Restaurant & wine slightly on expensive side but no real issues considering standard.
Pros: The quality of the food and our host, Stephan
Pros: Location was good for our journey. Externally the property appeared good.
Cons: Property was dated and the room claustrophobic. The room was not pet-friendly. The breakfast was poor value for money and the evening meal extortionate! Had to travel to nearby town to get an evening meal.
Pros: Great area ..... lovely and secluded
Pros: Great dinner and breakfast! The owner clearly has a good eye for detail and attention for the guests. The dinner on the outside terrace, surrounded by the forest, was delicious, as well as the breakfast
Pros: Lovely tranquil location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Absolutely superb meal in their restaurant- best we’ve had in years. Nice lake beside hotel which was perfect for a stroll after dinner.
Cons: Slightly basic rooms and could do with some modernisation. Having said that I’d happily stay there again as the restaurant was excellent.
Pros: Charming and rustic in a beautiful setting. We arrived late and our host understood my husbands need for a large cold beer after driving fo more than 7 hours. His English was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Coffee machine in the breakfast room very good.
Pros: Excellent location for walking and relaxing. Very clean, friendly staff, excellent dinner, good shower.
Cons: We checked that it was in fact a Superior room as it was very small with just enough space to get round the bed but no space for 2 suitcases. We had seen kettle etc on photos on booking.com but clearly some rooms are bigger and have space for such .. yet at same price.
Pros: Charming little hotel. Very 60's vibe without feeling too dated, which is not easy. Friendly host and very nice setting. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Dinner was really dissapointing. The meat was very, very tough. Mashed potatoes and vegetables were cold. €18 was a lot for the quality we received.
