Stayed in renovated room which is really extremly modern and comfortable as much as 5* hotel. Staff is quite inadequate and not trained in helping customers efficiently; AmEx credit card can not be used for payment although mentioned at hotel profile and confirmed during check in, it took more then 1 hour to check out (if I would have to fly this would be crutial), hotel manager not able to handle situation and finally rediculoulsly they requested me to get cash from atm and pay in cash.
Great ubication, new and very nice and confortable rooms. We forgot a pair of sunglasses and when we called to ask if it was there they told us we forgot there and saved them until we went to pick them up. We did the reservation with time and told we were travelling with an 11 year old girl. We arrived almost at 2 in the morning and we found our room was very small and there was not space for her. The next day we were changed to a very confortable and big room as there was not space that night.
Very good service. Very helpful with the car parking. All staff spoke good English.
Good location, good services and very nice people. the front desk should be better trained .
the spot of the hotel is perfect. they offered two single beds although they knew it was a cou[ple that is staying . of course they changed the next day that we complain
very central no non-smoking rooms; my room smelt badly of cigarettes.
very nice location - very clean and nice rooms (we were in the renovated ones) - very nice restaurant
Perfect location. Do not go to Junction! (Expensive food of average quality.)
there was so nice staff. we had room at 8th floor but elevator work to 7 only. thats why i wanted to change room and they gave us very good room next day. yes. floor 8.
We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in our room for our wedding anniversary which was a lovely thought and only wished we had longer to enjoy all the sevices the hotel had to offer.Truely memorable and we hope to return soon.
This is an excellent hotel.
Everything from the bellboy to the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and of highest quality and location was great, a lot of things to do if you don't mind walking. Historical sites are not close need to take a cab but not very far normally costing about 20-25TL.
It was very personal, well designed and clean. The hallway was a bit dark
The hotel is new, clean, well-managed, and in a great location. Also, the rooftop restaurant, which is where the complimentary breakfast is, is amazing. We ate dinner at Le Fumoir one night and it was our favorite meal in all of Turkey. My room was a bit dark because it was on the 2nd floor and faced the street and another building. However, this is nothing management can change. I do think the air conditioning could be stronger. It takes a while to cool the room.
Tom Tom Suites responded completely to our expectations : nice design hotel, a spacious room in an impeccable status. Location is central (in Beyoglu) in a very quiet street (opposite to the Italian Consulate) and three minutes walk from the shopping street Istiklal caddesi) - terrace with a view on TopKapi, Aghia Sophia and entrance of the Bosphorus. Staff is very professional and friendly : definitely one of the best hotels in comparison to other nice hotels where we stayed worldwide : it is highly recommendable !!
amazing personal touch and communication with the stuff, felt so very welcome and taken care of it was excellent across the board - maybe the paintings in the Lobby should be more arty
hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. hotel room was excellent with ensuite with spa bath. one of the best hotels İ have stayed in anywhere in the world. location difficult to find even for taxi drivers in İstanbul
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the rooms very spacious and well decorated with modern art. The airco units were situated outside our room and made a constant noise.
First: Design Genius. Second: View. Third: Exceptionally Friendly Staff. Fourth: Value (+++). Fifth: Stylish Location.
Beautiful setting next to the Italian embassy. It was remote enough to feel secluded by only about 2 blocks from busy retail pedestrian street leading to Taksim square. Also a few blocks to get to light rail with easy access to the the tourist sites (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc.) The staff was wonderful and very friendly and the hotel is beautifully designed. Perfect stay.
Exceptional service and attention to detail. And oh man, the breakfast! The shower sucked a little, but jacuzzi tub did work and was awesome.
friendly staff, comfort of the room, cleanness of the hotel, quality of the breakfast and quietness. The only observation is about quality of cheese at breakfast. it should be much better.
Great bathroom and facilities, great space, very comfortable bed and sheets, proximity to water; location is good little spot and nice change for us as we stayed at the Sultanhamet the nights before. Room facing a road that has a busy bus stop and school so children can be noisy even with windows shut. Despite this booking arrangements say your room is facing a garden.
Very quiet and stylish. an easy tram ride to the sights in the old town. Very nice restaurant with well trained staff
It is a beautiful modern hotel in a great location. The staff was excellent as was the complimentary morning breakfast. Does not apply--we like everything.
5 of 5 starsReviewed 1 week ago Our trip in Istanbul was for 6 days, and the idea was to find a hotel with an outdoor pool, to be able to get away from the hustle & bustle and chill out every once in a while. I’ve found that most hotels with pool have indoor pools and Hamam's....which is nice… of course... but in the summer heat, an outdoor pool is more what we need... Some of the high end expensive Hotels seem to have it but we didn't want to spend hundreds of $$$ per night... Anyway, I’ve found and booked the Marmara Pera and wasn't totally sure what to expect. Here our impressions: Perfect location in an upscale neighborhood, 1 minute from the famous walking street Istiklal, between Taksim square and Galata Tower. The building is the tallest on that hill and it gets you the most stunning views without any obstructions whatsoever. We stayed in room 901 and had a fantastic view over the city and river. Best of all was the sunset because the sun would go down right in the center of the window...absolutely beautfiful. The pool on the roof is not big but it doesn't matter because you are overlooking Bosporus river, the old town, the blue mosque, the whole shebang. You can overlook all directions from the Rooftop and again, you are on the tallest building around, so no obstructions. Very friendly & English speaking staff, easy check in Nice Amenities in the room Power outlets that keep charging your devices even when not in the room and key card removed from the main power switch. Our local friend mentioned that the restaurant on the Rooftop is excellent but we never actually ate there. Not sure if the hotel prices were lowered because it happened to be Ramadan or maybe because tourists bought into the terror scare that is rampant ever since 9/11 and stayed away... but we've only paid $80 per night for that room with the sunset view. Btw, there is a metal detector and 24h security at the entrance. I've visited Istanbul before and I think having a view and a central location is really making all the difference. I will come back here and stay in this very hotel. One last thing: download the App called BiTaksi and link it with your credit card. It's like UBER but it's what the locals use over here. I started already at the airport and never waited more than 4 minutes for a Taxi. This way, we’ve never had to hackle for price, got rejected because of the destination, or worse...got scammed when paying in cash... and believe me.... Taxi stories were my worst experience on my previous trips to Istanbul. Love Istanbul, don't get discouraged, help yourself, use technology and Apps to make the most of your trip. Stay open minded, be friendly, stay cool and you will get great things in return. Nothing at all!
rooms are small and not really comfortable do not value for 150 euro small size beds.
the Location in Taksim area evry thing is fine
The location for shopping cannot be better few meters from Istiklal Str. and 5min to Taqsem Square. Only the cleanness of the room was not up to that level.
Great view and great staff. Overall I loved it.
good hotel staff, professional no
Pool on the roof.
Great view! Exelent location with amazing rooftop and coctails , central ... great choice best view than the galata tower Gym too small
nice hotel we feel comfort, near to one of the famous shopping street, nice view, and it is easy to go to every where in Istanbul nothing at all
I like the location. The hotel is in the city center. Room has a nice view. The most importantly, I like the people who works at the hotel. People are so kind and friendly. I recommend that you listen their advices about where to go to eat and go out. They know the best restaurants and the places..
well english speaking staff towel were old, extremely noisy at night time. and also bed's sheet were a bit smelly. in general we spend our worth night in this hotel, because we couldn't sleep up to 2;30 at night.
Fantastic Location and not so busy!
Beautiful hotel, good staff, you just feel at home in this hotel, perfect location in a quiet street
A truly designer and amazing hotel with excellant staff and the most comfortable bed that we have slept in.
Staff were so nice and cooperative , the hotel location is not so far from the crazy and the intresting area Taksim , but far enough to have some privacy and quite sleep . yes the coffee and the mini bar was expensive ,
Room size and friendliness of staff Taxi's find the location difficult to find
It is very quite hotel where you can spend nice holiday with your family Well.. In general the hotel is nice except that there is no facilities such as spå, swimming pool, resturant for lunch or dinner
very nice, big and clean room, friendly staff and all they could talk English (must of the people there, they can not talk in English) breakfast was limited and not fit for 5 star hotel
Design of the room & hotel. Electricity went out for about an hour at the middle of my work on the internet.
Excellent service! great design and comfort, very good breakfast, high standards!
Loved the design, finishes and furniture combination. Visually beautiful and staff was so helpful and friendly.
The immaculate room with keen attention to detail. The friendly, professional staff made it a pleasure to be there. The lack of food provision. Even a small selection of restaurant style dishes would be a positive addition to the hotel.
the position perfect not very good breakfast, small room
The room was really nice furnitured and it had an amazing view of Bosphorus (4th floor and above) Pugging was not good, you could hear everything happening in your next rooms. Breakfast had good variety but it could be of better quality
excellent service, clean room, good people.
Very comfortable beds Great location Good service The anti-allergy pillows are limited and it has a first come first serve policy Internet not always stable for work
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, amazing views from the restaurant/bar. Room was spacious and clean. Very good location. No
third time I stayed there, I highly recommend this hotel
The stuff was very helpful and the free internet access too.
in the center of the city, close the everywhere, lovely sea view... breakfast was poor, needs a renovation...
Room and the bar a the last floor Iron was not available after 21:00
The hotel staff were very polit and friendly and room service was excellent. I advise the hotel to debit the visa/master card of the customer as soon as he doese the booking and few days before customer arraival this because the customer might done early booking and has used the funds during the period from booking till arraival to hotel. the towls in thr rooms must be changed after usage
it was on the istiklal street beyoğlu and it was close to the other places which are imporrtant places of istanbul
The hotel had a fantastic location and one of the most breathtaking views of Istanbul that I've ever seen. We were able to walk to the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia from this hotel, although it was a lengthy (but enjoyable) walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made every effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The reception spoke English and was able to help give us recommendations on places to go and directions to get there. I would absolutely stay here again.
the very impressive few from our room iat 9th floor
The nice and helping staff and its wonderful view of Maramara sea from restorent on 10th floor.! There were no veg dishes at all in the restorent of the hotel so there is no meaning for free dinner to vegetarian if he is planning more than 6 days stay. The location was littlebit odd as there were no eating joints or even a grossery store near to the hotel. (Atleat for next 500 meters). Buffet breakfast was okay and not the best.they should add more choices to that
the hotel is new clean with nice view on the golden horn. breakfast is excellent Staff are very polite and helpful. special thanks Mr Furkan . Sure i recommend this nice hotel .
very clean, nice room, well equiped, very good service, very friendly, good price, nice views from the top, I really recomend this hotel, I will surely stay there again for this class hotel I would expect little better choice for breakfast
The staff and personnel were very kind and helpfull. The hotel is well situated across the Golden Horn with a splendid view over it and the old city. You are in walking distance of all the beauty of Istanbul. You can go to the roof with a terrace and enjoy the lovely view! Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. Rooms are a bit small. We could change to a very nice deluxe room with a good view at the 9th floor after making remarks about the noise from the street and size of the standard room we first got on the front. So we were lucky I guess.
The staff are friendly and speak english quite well. The roof top restaurant has a good view on a clear day. The housekeeping can be further improved to provide consistent cleanliness
Nothing was too much trouble, staff were helpful and charming at all times and went above and beyond the call of duty - they had my check in paperwork ready when I got there at midnight, even though I hadn't given them advance warning, had a platter of fruit ready in my room and even managed to find an adaptor at 1am. Faultless service. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it to others. In an 8-day stay, it was the last of 4 hotels I stayed in and while there are plenty of snazzier, more luxurious hotels - you have to pay top whack for that - the Golden City was spotlessly clean, facilities were immaculate and free wireless in the rooms (even the the 5* I stayed in earlier didn't have that). Excellent location too.
The rooms were updated with all the amenities needed for a stay. Roof restaurant and bar with the best views of Istambul. centrally located, easy access to taxi, Tram or Bus. Breakfast with a variety of products and service with a smile. Commercial neighborhood.
Staff were awesome , so clean , amazing view , close to subway and train , perfect breakfast The price
The rooftop restaurant is great. Hotel was also clean/comfortable. The location is not ideal if you have children. The hotel is surrounded by hardware stores selling lawnmowers/chainsaws/etc. Walking to the tram stop was not easy with a stroller, so we started taking taxis.
