Helpful staff and good value money. Far a way from the many places that you would like to visit which will cost you alot by taxi. I suggest the hotel to arrange two or three trip per day to go to europe side for free of charge or basic fees.
I liked the fact that it was located near shops and not locked up behind security, like the US hotels. The room was nicely furnished, and I liked the fact that I was given a suite, so I didn't have to have my laptop in the same room in which I slept. The bellman who checked me in was very helpful in telling me what I needed to know. The hotel seems to suffer from that same disconnect between technology and its understanding by staff that affects so many Trkish hotels. There are emergency call buttons built into the room -- though I didn't push them, the system kept going off. The reception desk kept calling to tell me to push the reset button, which I did, but it didn't help. They'd send someone to do it, but that didn't help either. Very annoying. I asked for a wakeup call but didn't receive it. Finally, the shower in the bathrooms has one of those glass doors that doesn't cover the opening, which meant that the bathroom got flooded every time I took a shower. There was a drain, but the floor was built flat, so the water didn't flow into it. Further, breakfast starts at 7 which was too late for me to partake of it on both days. I tried to get the 10€ charge removed from my bill, but no luck.
I loved the room size which was big enough for my family (myself + my wife + our kids). Also the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I think the value of the room cost is high.
Excellent room, got upgraded to a suite
very good hotel hospitality, service, cleanes, friendly staff transportation avaliable
Room wide space, comforable room, City overlooking, Reception services, Welcome compliment (fruits) telephone did not work for first night, electric kettle of tea is needed in the room. Away from old city, no shuttle services between the hotel and european side of Istanbul.
calm and quiet
Nice hotel, Spacious Room, Wonderful Breakfast
The staff were all very friendly & helpful Smoking in Public areas of the hotel & eating areas
Location The staff (especially the reception/front desk) and the price was extremely expensive also- the room had no windows!
Lobby and Breakfeast The Lamp does not work, rooms are really small, TV deos not work
Location is magnificent , rooms are so clean , kind hotel labour . And most important think is silence . Some construction view for renovation is looking bad .
Staff is friendly and the location of the hotel is great.
Nice view from seaview room on the Bosphorus and Prince Islands. Breakfast is ok. They are currently re-building the hotel partly, which means that you have the idea of living in a construction area.
I have hosted our international clients at this hotel and they were very happy about quality and ambience.
only the staff were not so good trained. they did not treat the customer well.
It was the only good buisiness hotel in the particular vicinity It was a little noisy outside my room with street noise from local cafe's on Saturday night
Old, very hot rooms. Airco: insufficient. This Hotel is not recommendable
The attitude of the staff from Day 1 right until the conclusion of our stay. They could not do enough for us and this was delivered in a friendly and relaxed manner.
It was a comfortable hotel. Good size bathroom for Istanbul. Ac worked well. Friendly staff. Staff often hard to find. Very Business man oriented - felt a little uncomfortable as a solo female traveller.
Good service, clean, excellent position - quite close to the ferry and other means of public transportation, excellent wireless connection and fair tv service in the room. Comfortable rooms and good bathroom.
Good location in Kadikoy, clean, quiet hotel. Not very good organization, but the hotel staff was trying to compensate. They can improve room maintenance and English knowledge of the front office desk.
Just opened small tidy hotel with modern equipments on asia side, next to ferry station. A lot of cafes and restaurants around. breakfast could be better
The Parkhouse Boutique Hotel & Spa is brand new (2 weeks as of now) and looks the part in every aspect. Sparklingly clean, comfortable, and great value for money. The staff were the best I have experienced anywhere. Mustafa, the owner/operator, was exceptional. I was extremely sick during my stay and he took me to the pharmacy at midnight and offered to take me to the doctor the next day when my condition deteriorated (I don't speak any turkish and the locals speak no english). Would definately stay there again and strongly recommend it to others. The breakfast could have been slightly improved - admittedly I ate in the last 5 minutes of service.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms and the whole hotel are very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is ideal for people who want to be close to public transportation (boats and busses) and yet away from the more touristic European side of the city.
poor brekfast and thin walls
Staff speaking English Language. cleanness , romantic.
Wonderful staff, ideal location in a great part of town and excellent facilities!
The location was very good, it is close to the bus terminal from where buses leave to the airport Sabiha Gocken and also close to the ferry terminal, to take the ferry to Sultahnamet. Shops are within walking distance and i's a lively environment with lots of shops and restaurants. The concierge was very helpful and gave us lots of information.
Good location Sauna and jacuzzi cold, cleaning could be better, hotel price is too high for what you get
Good situation. Spa was not working at all (only cold water !!). Always had the impression to disturb the staff. Not possible to close the window in the 1st room, and no window in the 2nd one (wich smelled smoke!!). Ridiculous breakfast. This hotel is not what it pretends to be : it's not a spa hotel, and it's not a luxury hotel !! Nothing works correctly in the rooms (window, tv, ac, toilets and shower). I wouldn't recommend it at all !
This is an excellent hotel to stay in. Right from the time we entered the hotel, we were happy with all the facilities that they provided.given that we were there with 2 kids, the manager Mr. Mustafa advised us on a better room choice. The staff is friendly and can understand English. The rooms are very modern and very comfortable. Just one aspect, while booking, please note the phone number correctly. I had a problem to connect to the hotel.
Staff was very helpful
Location was great and easy to find. All ok.
Nice modern/simple Hotel located close to restuarants/shops, friendly helpful staf Beds a bit on the hard side.
Location for buses and Ferries was excellent, restaurants, bars, shops and cafe's right on doorstep, although just set back enough from the main street so you could get a good nights sleep.
I used the hotel for convenience to the Tango Festival I was attending. The festival provided a shuttle to this hotel. The matress was very hard and the room decor was dated. The bathroom however was updated. I had to ask for an extra sheet and blanket as they only provide a bottom sheet with a thin cotton throw which was a little unusual for me but maybe this is the way in Turkey.
The triple room is a dream, a dream for only 100 euros / night
Everithing was unexpectably excellent. Especially cleaniness of the rooms was extremely perfect. I was better than 5* hotels. The food(breakfast) is poore. Really.
The affable personnel Convenience of an arrangement, near to quay and quay, that conveniently for walks is possible to get easily in the European part of Istanbul, a lot of cafe and restaurants beside. Маdо......... I like Маdо..... Half-lives for ice-cream in Мадо. The order of meal in number on Sunday is impossible - the cook has a rest..... Rather it is not convenient. Number in the minimal style only for one person. It not a double. To live together in number, where a toilet behind a glass door at a bed...... Forgive, but not up to romanticism when in a toilet it would be desirable
They made an abuse in using my card account. Two days after my arrival they asked me to sing a paper so they can charge me for the whole amount (I was going to stay 8 more days). I didn't agree with this procedure and I said that I would pay the bill at the end of may stay (as I did everywhere else) and didn't sign their paper. Despite this they charged my bank account without my approval. I consider this beeing an abuse.
The position was very good in center of Kadikoy which is reacheble with every bus departing from Sabiha G. Airport with "Kadikoy" on the bus indication sign as it's the final stop. It's also only two steps by ferry boat pear for crose to european side of Instanbul (Instanbul center or Besiktas in only 20min) which I suggest for save time and money. Room really small but I felt the overall value correct for what I paid.
