Location is unbeatable . Rooms are beautiful ; spacious, modern, and clean. This is practically a brand new hotel. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is recommended ,Location is unbeatable . Rooms are beautiful ; spacious, modern, and clean. This is practically a brand new hotel. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is recomm Rooms can be a little noisy because of location and the way our rooms was right by the elevator but nothing to really worry about.
Location was fantastic. Hotel was clean and well-maintained. View of the sites was excellent on the front side of the building. View on the back side of the building awful.
Location and friendly staff. Good value for the money. Room for breakfast a bit small but breakfast itself okay. My only recommendation is to label the different food items.
Hotel Sapphire was nicely situated in the sightseeing area of Istanbul. The hotel was lovely, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. The tram is very near by, so it's easy to get around the city. The only downside is some of the nightlife spots are best served with a tram ride, and the tram stops running at midnight.
location. close to touristic sites. nice 3 start decor. pillows were too high.
The room was very clean and the staff of the hotel is perfect. Moroever the location was also good and the price was fare. Despite the fact that the Hotel is located in the centre of Istnabul it was very quite in the room.. No complaints, everything was perfect
the staff at the hotel were very hospitable and took care of all our needs from baby food to transport, they were fantastic!
This hotel is a very good choice. Tha hotel staff is very helpful and nice, rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty and abundant. The hotel is only five minutes walk from the main attarctions of Istanbul (Topkapi, Aya Sofia, Galata Bridge), so I can recommend to everybody to choose this hotel. You won't be disappointed. And last but not least the hotel has a very good transfer service from/to the airport.
Everyone on the staff was very friendly, accomodating and efficient. They all spoke excellent English and none made us feel uncomfortable about not being able to speak Turkish. The hotel was clean and modern. The location of the hotel to tourist sites couldn't be beat. I loved everything!
the staff was really nice, professional and efficient. Although the facilities are a bit rundown, the hotel is clean...towels and sheets smelled good. Harum at the front desk, made sure everything is in order and that we had nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work! The bathroom is quite dilapidated.
Everything......particularly wonderful staff who went out of their way to help in everything- they stayed up waiting for us when we arrived at 3am, then they went to enormous lengths to get the hire car we wanted and had the car delivered to the hotel. Not only the service but they spoke impeccable English and very courteous in every way. Nothing
The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. The hotel was in an ideal location for walking or getting the tram to all the tourist sites and had the added bonus of a swimming pool and sauna to use after a day of exciting sightseeing and shopping Loved it all.
Breakfast was excellent. Smaller room with no view
The Staff is very helpful and smiling all the time.. The location is ideal for visiting the old city... The breakfast is great.. The room was a bit small, but was comfortable.
Staff was very accommodating. No
Beautiful hotel. Great location short walk to the best sightseeing.
Excellent location, cleanliness and generally cheerful and helpful staff. Breakfast offered good choice and plentiful supply but offerings became somewhat monotonous over time. Room was somewhat small and lacked closet/cupboard space. Transit service to airport and 'new business area' was unreliable.
Best price-service ratio
Super location, short walking distance to so many spots. The hotel is first class. Spendy, but worth it because the location means you can really just enjoy the sights without so much hassle with getting around the town.
This hotel was my first experience with a Four Seasons Hotel and certainly worth the expense. The staff were welcoming and accommodating to me on an individual level. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The food was out of this world. A great hotel in a great location. It's the place to stay if you want to treat yourself!
A very nice location + a very friendly staff.The Hotel is small,but nice The rooms are too small+description is wrong:rooms are not suit.for 4 persons,even for 3 pers.not comfortable(Suites).Rooms are looking to a wall,at least the suites.
The staff were very friendly. i felt like home. The hotel is in the middle of all attractions. The hotel is small compared with the pictures on the site
the staff was very friendly and this nice hotel is located in the most interesting place of Istanbul, near ayia sofia and blue mosque. And with great connection with other places such as Grand bazzar and the taksim square.
The location Next door construction
staff service / welcome
Hotel well located. Spacy room. The hammam does not work. You can not use the spa when ever you want. You have to book before, you can not share the hammam with other people.
Location, clean room and good beds, private use of sauna, friendly staff, spacious room for 2 persons The room in the first floor was sometimes quite noisy, in the room was lack of wardrobes especially with shelves, the lights with the key card was hard to put on, it would be nice to have some variation in the breakfast
Friendly staff. Accomodating. Extremely central location for Istanbul. They tried to push a tour on us but it wasnt too bad. Overall very good people!
The staff and the location. The room was fine as well
good quality for given price. Was only due to the low season I am affraid.
Location. Nice amenities. 3 star at best. Dark rooms, dogs welcome you at front door. Taxi can't easily get in because it's a very busy and crowded street
Sorry it was bad
modern and new look. spacious and well furnished rooms. central location
The hotel's staff was truly exceptional. Words cannot do justice to the unique treatment I received at Sura. I felt more like family than a guest, and I would go out of my way to stay here again. Thank you for creating such a great team! Awesome location!
Excellent location, very closed to metro.Excellent breakfast, good restaurant.Room and bed linen clean.Free drinking water. worn carpet
1. Excellent decor and interiors. 2. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Guest Relations Manager at the reception (A lady) helped get us a very nice room. 3. Bellboy, was very courteous & helpful.4. Great hammam experience at the Spa. Breakfast was just about okay, but nowhere near the standards of the overall hotel.
Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms Nothing
The staff were pleasant. The room was small but comfortable and airconditioned. The location was central to historical sites and close to tram stop. Breakfast was an expansive and good buffet. The shower in the room was unsuitable for anyone who is less than agile. A two foot step up between glass sliding doors into a mini bath with seat and nothing to grab a hold of.
Nothing The reservation should be service mind and practice english.
Excellent location near two light train stations. Lovely view from the hotel terasse. Prof staff! 3 star hotel, not 4. But nice to the price! It might be the same old breakfast we ate three days in a row? It didn´t look like they throw the old stuff out. Especially the cheese didn´t like to be at the breakfast table 3 hours everyday in a hot room (20-30 degrees). They should throw the food out after 3 hours in a hot room and place new everyday. Or put the food some cool place. The air con was noisy! We preferred to turn it off and sleep with open window. The gin+tonic was almost warm. They should use a fridge for the booze and ice cubes.
Great location and good Turkish breakfast. Friendly staff. The 'suite' was a small ordinary sized room. Asked for a double bed and non-smoking but received a twin smoking room (but fortunately this did not smell of smoke.)
The location of the hotel is great: 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
breakfast and locatıon the shower
I only like their breakfast. I hated a decore and room colors. Shower head was falling down. I ask for non smoking and the room smelled smoke. I was on top flower and barely could see water.
It is a good hotel in strategic position, near tram stop and very easy to find especially when you arrive from the airport. You can reach Haya Sofia and the Blue Mosque in few minutes. Staff is good and they speak a good English.
Clean rooms, good variety at breakfast. Air conditioning. Taxi service. We asked for a breakfast as we had an early flight, we were told we would get a sandwich but nothing appeared.
the reception staff were very helpful the evening restaurant manager was inadequate but the food was good
very small rooms, durty, unfriendly hotel staff
location and ease of travel to tourist sites air conditioning unit very noisy and next to useless
Wonderfull locationPlease write at least 15 words Taxi cab
The guest relations officer, Ozlem, was particularly attentive. When I became I'll she was exceptionally kind and went out if her way to help. The other staff were also kind. The shower was unable to deliver consistent waterctemperature. Either scolding hot or very cold with tmrw of being just ok.
wireless connection to internet no tourist map
breakfast, hotel location relatively poor privacy in telephone calls received by the hotel reception.
Had a gym, nice spa, great view, unbelievable and helpful staff The two twin beds pushed together with separate blankets (minor)
Personal care of the staff, the location of the hotel and view from the rooftop are just great
Personalul e amabil, hotelul e curat, locatia e buna Camerele sunt cam mici (am stat la o tripla), masa nu e prea variata pentru un hotel de 4 stele
great location, clean there was a wedding party on saturday night. They appologised for the inconvinience but I couldn't sleep that night.
Staff were so friendly. Also very helpful when it comes to ask about touring the old city and visiting attractions. Roof top restaurant staff were also very nice to every guest, they even celebrated my birthday with a surprise cake at the morning buffett without us telling them. Reasonable prices at the spa, restaurant and the airport transport service was 5 stars. Hotel location was so convenient to everything in that gorgeous old city ; all within walking distance.
Great value for money. Unbeatable location. superb view from rooftop restaurant nothing to dislike.
Friendly staff. Location was okay but the traffic to the hotel was not allowed. I have walked 5 minutes to the hotel. They sent a guy to help me. Room was too tiny. Small. Bad design. You have to take 10 steps down from the door to the bed. It looked like a grave.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, immaculate, and nicely decorated.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for sightseeing with everything beingn within walking distance of the hotel.
Excellent location. Staff very helpful.
Hotel location is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful, hotel rear terrace charming space. Hard beds, poor bathrooms, patchy house keeping.
very friendly service in the bathroom, the water ran out of the shower, the toiletring wasn't well attached
The room was very clean and the hotel staffs are very kind.
Great location. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast as well.
Excellent location for visiting the main attractions, right next to Hagia Sophia. Friendly staff and decent breakfast Room was pretty small.
A great restaurant that prepares Ottoman palace cuisine. The location is amazing! Easy walking distance to all major Sultanahmet landmarks. The staff - they were always cheerful and helpful. My room was a bit small.
the location the shower leaked all over the floor
The location is excellent, most of the interesting places are within walking distance. The hotel staff were very helpful & polite. The rooms were cleaned regularly every AM, our room was always clean, neat & tidy everytime we returned to hotel after the trips. Nothing
The staff were outstanding. The rooms were very clean and the location was excellent.
The service of the staff was perfect. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food. The location was very convienient. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We found the double bed slightly on the small side for two people.
The hotel is in the center of main touristic places in Istanbul, the tramway is easily accessible. Also walking to any of these touristic places is possible. The breakfast is very good, and the receptionists are very helpful.
The hotel is fairly new and the rooms were nicely decorated with modern facilities. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, giving advice and assisting with bookings for tours. There was a complementary airport pick up service and we were greeted on our arrival with a small gift. When we left we were presented with another gift and, as we had to leave before breakfast, sandwiches had been made for us to take with us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located. A 10 minute walk will take you to the main attractions of Topkapi Palace, Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque, or to the Galata bridge and the ferries for the Bosphorus in the opposite direction. It is very close to the metro (tram) line, too. Although the windows could be opened and there was air conditioning, the room tended to be hot at night. There was also some noise from adjacent rooms. The sound on the TV was intermittent and this continued during our stay of a week.
Excellent breakfast choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good central location Booked double room, but were initially given a twin. We were immediately found another room, but this did smell faintly of smoke.
Cleanliness, staff courtesy, facilities provided (Including Internet/Lift), Location (specially for Tourists) Nothing that I can think of.
Staff was extremely helpful and polite, rooms were very nice and clean, great location Did not pick us up a tthe airport as requested
We enjoyed the hotel, the friendly staff, the nice rooms, excellent breakfast, great location, .... I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Istanbul! We have visited all tourist locations in the old town of Istanbul by foot (5 min for Aya Sofia, Egyptian Bazar and Topkapi, 10 min for Blue Mosk and Grand Bazaar). This hotel was the perfect location for our city-trip and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The only thing that could be better was to have a nice terrace. However, as the location was so excellent, this is hardly a complaint.
Location is perfect The bed too small
Location, rooms, breakfast and the stuff what made me and my wife to stay there for many times over and over. There is nothing to unlike
The hotel is very conveniently located in old town. It's a walking distance to many major attractions: Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia. The hotel staffs are friendly. Breakfast are nice. The manager, Enver, had went out of his way to help us to get a taxi on Friday afternoon. (Unlike the other 4 star hotel, the staff has left us on the street and wish us luck after fail to get a taxi for us) We will definitely recommend this hotel to all of our family & friends.
staff was very kind
The hotel is a really nice place. New design and interior look very fine. The hotel staff is extremely polite and ready to help you with your most unusual requests. The hotel has an optimal location - close to Sultanahmet and Grand Bazaar, it is surrounded by many lovely restaurants and cafes where you can taste "delicious substance" of the Turkish cuisine. And, of course, we enjoyed the price of accomodation in this facility. 1. The breakfast might be a bit more diversified. Last year we had better breakfast in a hotel that was worse than the White House. 2. We expected a better room service (I don't understand why charladies folded towels that were hung to dry; and sometimes they tried to enter the room when there was a "do not disturb" sign on a handle of the door). Though this point is not critical. 3. Sound isolation should be better. However, I suppose it's an ordinary "drawback" of many Turkish hotels.
Staff, location, room were fantastic!!! The breakfast could have more variety from day to day but all the hotels had the same breakfast.
The friendliness of the staff , the position , the cleanliness all made for a great stay.
Beautiful boutique hotel located near several of the historic buildings in old Istanbul. Amazing staff!
The hotel was pristinely clean, was within easy walking distance of all attractions yet located away from the press of traffic and crowds, and the staff was outstandingly competent, friendly, and helpful. I liked everything (which is a rarity with me).
We liked pretty much everything, from the welcome Turkish Delight and juice, to the Valentine's candles, wine and flower petals waiting in our room, to the breakfast overlooking the Istanbul skyline and the Blue Mosque, to the friendly staff, and finally to the goodbye gift and single rose (which my daughter still has). Not a thing!
The hotel is very new, clean and nice. The staff was very helpful, they give answers for all the questions. The location is perfect, every important sight is in a short walk. Thanks for everything.
Very cooperative and helpful staff, prompt service, hotel is centrally located with good eating joints nearby.Need to mention name of Mr.Cazer on reception who has been an extremly good host.
We found this hotel very convenient to restaurants and the many old city attractions. The staff and all amenities were very good and we would stay at The White House Hotel again.
The staff very helpful, close to sightseeing, very comfortable Everything was great, the only thing which could have been improved is the shower drainage
location is perfect - very calm street food in the morning
The staff was very accommodating and tried very hard to help us in any way they could. The hotel is only 5 months old and working hard to complete the furnishings and decoration... there were a few things missing, i.e. a comfortable chair in the room. But they told us everything was ordered and on the way.
Personnel, small, but cozy room, convenient beds, clean bathroom too big space under the entrance doors which causes quite disturbance in the morning, especially when the neighbour leaves his room or the cleaning lady sweeps the gangway.
This hotel is brand new (literally just opened) - rooms are comfortable and clean. There's a flat screen tv w. over 600 channels in the room. The breakfast is a continental breakfast. Staff always very helpful. The location is perfect as it is literally just off the Topkapi palace - perfect for sightseeing (walking distance to Ayasofya, the Blue Mosque, the grand bazaar and various restaurants). Excellent value for money.
Location is perfect, you can get anywhere you need easily. Very good staff, always ready to help you.
An excellent breakfast, and also wonderful dining facility in the evening.A great location and close enough to walk to the Grand Bazaar and the mosques. No complaint at all
Raymond Hotel was the one of the best hotel we have ever stayed in Istanbul. We stayed like two weeks and that was brand new hotel. Ofc there was some lil problems in first week but they fixed all in second week. Also whole hotel staff was really helpful when we had problems. About room; we stayed in top floor which was like penthouse. And room was big enough. You can also watch the stars and sky while laying in your bed. About cleanliness; i think we should specially thx to housekeeping staff. They were so polite and helpful. Cleaning was perfect. About breakfast; We can say breakfast was really delicious and everything was fresh. Until now we never spent that much time in breakfast hall. You should definetely stay there. - If i stayed one week i could write something here but as i said before they fixed everything. I can only say; if they put tea bags & sugar to room, that might be nice. Also kettle was little slow.
Verynice and clean hotel, small rooms but very nice....... close to everything and the staff sre helpful.....Iwill back there anytime. The toilet smell a bit but its only it the bad point on there.
It was nicely located, staff was pretty helpful and it is a good place to spend a weekend. Renovated, in fact, new rooms and new furniture. I in fact stayed a week, we had two rooms booked, one single and one double. The windows in the single room were looking into some yard and there was a constant noise, day-and-night, so you can't sleep with your window open. So mind that while booking. The other room had a heater leaking, they couldn't fix it right away, so just switched it off and it was not the perfect solution in terms of warm towels and temperature in the shower room. Floors in the rooms were also not very clean - however everything else was good and clean.
The location was great and directly in the old city center! The room was clean and cozy, the breakfast was versatile and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Raymond Hotel!!! The room was a bit small and the safe was not working.
I was extreemly honored to be the first guest in this great hotel that has a great location, just 5mn walking distance is enough to reach all touristic places in istanbul... Raymond Hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff were very friendly and professional specialy Mr. ADAM the front desk manager, he made you feel like you were the only guest, everything requested was done and everything went to plan even you do not to worry about the transportation just rely on Mr. ADAM. Raymond hotel will remain always my sweet home in istanbul.
Location,Clean.Parking outside of the hotel without any charge.
