Friendly staff Very poor facilities for a 5 star Hotel. No Gym, pool or exercise related facility. No bar, can only get a drink from a vending machine or one of the many resturants, which lack atmosphere. No water/nothing in the fridge in the room and extremeley smalll bathroom.
Convenient airport location
It was very clean and comfortable. It is so close to the train line and the airport. I dont have anything bad to write
Close to the airport
Courtesy and assistanc eprovided by front desk staff.
It is very convenient. I can walk to the hotel from the airport.
Very elegant and comfortable. Hotel staff very kind and gentle. A bit expensive
The location above Namba station was excellent. The hotel staff weren't always so helpful (front desk/bell desk).
Great service and fabulous location
wonderful location of the hotel, easy access from every where
Executive rooms with inclusive full service, business facilities, breakfast & evening cocktail lounge Located into Smoking Room on arrival & having to pay an upgrade fee to locate to a No Smoker
Location, room size relative to Japanese standards Fee for internet access, expensive breakfast
well equiped, employees are professional and service minded
For the hotel like Swissotel should include wifi internet service and free of charge but you have to pay and expensive.
The hotel was excellent, modern, high-end rooms that you would expect from a Swissotel with excellent views over Osaka. The hotel was and right on top of a Subway station and a major shopping and food precinct right in the heart of Namba. If I return to Osaka I will absolutely stay here again.
The staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful with tourist information and all of them spoke excellent English. The room was amazing. Very clean and all of our needs were met beyond exception. An excellent experience and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
very nice hotel, clean, kind personnel. very comfortable bathroom. nice view to the city, although the castle view room doesn't offer a direct view to it (you have to bend your head quite much...). The hotel is close to 2 railway stations and one subway station, close to the castle and to the aqua-bus (right in front of the hotel). Personnel in the Four Seasons restaurant not english speaking and not kind with the clients...
Close to castle and good views - close to station also Had to pay large fees for everything extra ie internet and fitness facilities
Old room, accessories, location of the room etc, far away from a 5 star hotel.
The Guest Relations were very helpful in providing maps to places I wanted to go. They would checked for information from the internet and made sure we knew our way around.
Location is great! Front desk staff always has trouble with reservation. I've stayed here several times and it's always a problem at check-in.
Friendly staff, great lounge on the 35th with live music.
how all the staff were willing to help at all hours of the day and their english was superb!
Great location for a great hotel Wifi not complimentary. At a rate of $17/day I think it is too expensive...
The location was great and the breakfast was excellent. No free wi-fi, and the fee to conect to the internet was such a rip off!!
Friendly staff, excellent service, not to expensive, great loacation
Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff. Good value. Will use the hotel again. Shower/bath arrangement not typical for western traveler. However, completely acceptable
The room is really big compared to the other japan hotels. The decoration is modern and the bathroom is so big !
easy access to shopping and only few minutes walk from subway station. will definitely stay in this hotel again..........
I loved the location of the hotel. Being close to all the food and shopping of Dontonburi. There wasn't anything specific that i disliked during my stay.
The location of the hotel is great, so it allows you to do alot of things The staff in the reception, they were very complicated, regarding payments with a visa card
This was my second stay at the Cross Hotel and would certainly stay again in future, Very convenient location, clean rooms and facility, The hotel restaurant and bar staff were outstanding. Awesome pillow's, so good I bought one use at home,,This was my second stay at the Cross Hotel and would certainly stay again in future, Very convenient location, clean rooms and facility, The hotel restaurant and bar staff were outstanding. Truly fantastic location in terms of access to nightlife and hundreds of bars / restaurants close by. Very convenient to Namba main station and metro. Good size rooms , very clean and lovely bathroom. Although not cheap - great value for what you get, reasonable breakfast cost and no hidden charges.
Although the chapel on the 22nd floor was a little kitschy, the hotel was grand, clean, and had great views over the city. It was difficult to find the entrance the first time. The is a subtle entrance where you take an elevator up to the main lobby on the 22nd floor.
Very nice hotel! Great staff, very clean, and within walking distance to Dotonbori and tons of restaurants and shops! They validated our parking fee as well! Very happy!
Excellent service from Concierge and front desk staff. Convenient location to OCAT, JR Namba Station and local subway lines. Walking distance to Dotombori, Shimsaibashi, and other shopping streets. Good local restaurants in alley ways close by.
Excellent service .. I forgot my passport in the safety box They contacted me directly and asked me how do I want to receive it.
concierge is very good no welcome fruits, nobody helping to open heavy entrance door, poor choices for breakfast. At least for New Year they could do something nicer for breakfast.
Conveniently located by the subway station Friendly, English speaking front desk Great lobby and hotel facilities You get what you paid for! The hotel lobby was so nice that I was very disappointed when I got to my room. The carpet was sticky and towels were stiff. The room was pretty run down and I felt like it was not the same vibe I got from the hotel lobby. However, for how much I paid, it was well worth the location.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was clean and quiet. The room was disappointing. The beds were very hard and the room was all the way on the other side of the building away from the elevators.
+ Stayed in the 41st floor of the hotel... Amazing view. + A/C button on the control panel near the beds was also a heater! (Warm & toasty) + Was always greeted with a nicely made bed and replenished amenities. Drank roasted green tea every morning during my stay. + Convenient location! JR and subway lines are a short walk away from the airport! + Remember to check the drawers! I missed out on wearing a hotel yukata to sleep. + Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, as well as other amenities included in the room. + Comfortable beds! - I paid a price that was a little higher than advertised. However, the price is still good and I wouldn't mind staying here again!
The location. Close to the train station Had to take smoking section
Nice rooms, strategically located, very convenient and close to everything. None
The hotel is in the Osaka railway station which is very comfortable. The shopping center is located around the station. Perfect for a short stay where you have direct access shopping, transportation, restaurants and amusement. The rooms are more spacious than an average business hotel in Japan. I had a nice view from my hotel room. Most rooms are located on 20+ floors. You could hear some street noise from the amusement area, but it was still okay for me.
Located above railway station. Also high enough to keep above city noise so a good sleep.
The location is really convenient, and there is free internet facility at the hotel room. The room is super small, smallest hotel room I have ever been, lucky it was quiet modern and clean, although I would have preferred Hilton if I knew it was just across the road. Also while there was free Internet, the PC was super slow (My room was AMD 1 Ghz with 512MB memory)..
Location at Osaka JR station very convenient
Hotel staff are well trained and they communciate with each other well. They are efficient and at the same time hospitable. Great location for those travellers, using railway or bus connections to other cities. No individual safe deposit box in room. No business centre facility.
Room was nice/clean, great view, connected to main train station. Staff were very helpful (accidentally booked in a smoking room, they found me an alternate, non-smoking room despite being very full).
the comfort of the bed
While it is a little removed from the main streets of Osaka, it is within walking distance to many places to eat. We loved the traditional bathrooms. Seems a little far from main streets that have attractions, bus/ train options and food. This is a plus for quiet though.
Property is nice great staff. Rooms are very small. No air conditioning is a definite minus. 75 degrees outside and only option is to use the heat. Very noisy but hotel staff was accommodating to move room.
Free bus to station partly compensated for distance. Lounge prices were excessively high: 1300 yen for a cup of coffee (3 times the Starbucks prices), but there is nowhere else to sit to conclude a short business meeting.
When you arrive at Universal City, you simply have exit the station and you are less than a minute from the hotel. Then to make it better, you are just across the from the park. Food, staff, and area were great. Bed a little hard, it is to be expected. Very easy to get to the aquarium and huge ferris wheel (only 10 mintues by ferry, which is across the street). Truly enjoyed the hotel and because of this, we were able to enjoy our time in Osaka.
The location can't be beat if Universal Studios is your destination. It is also right next to the Universal City train station. The lobby is grand and swanky - reminded me of the recent Great Gatsby film. You can buy your Universal Studios tickets and Express Passes at a desk in the lobby. We were not able to check in early, but they did hold our bags, and even delivered them to the room when we came back at check-in time. The breakfast buffet is expensive; it is not included in the room price.
