The only positive thing was the bed which was quite comfortable.
We arrived at 6 a.m. at the property. On booking it was specified the desk was opened 24 hours to take the luggages. When we arrived it was night and there was no one at the hotel, everything was closed. We waited 2 hours outside with our backpacks in the dark and it was also really cold. Around 8 all the other hotels were opened and we had to ask them where the staff of our hotel was. We had to wake them up as they were still sleeping in a room. When I called the manager of the hotel to complain he hang up the phone while I was still speaking. We left the documents for the check in and only around 3 p.m. when we were going out for a walk the manager told us that we had to check out as I had Italian passport and the government doesn’t allow italians anymore for coronavirus in a very rude and impolite way. I tried to explain that I came from the UK as I live and work there and I was already in India for 15 days. He told us it was not his problem where to stay and he didn’t helped us to find a solution. We felt really bad and not welcomed. At the end we had to find ourselves a local hospital. They issued a medical certificate and we were allowed to stay. In the room we found a big cockroack walking on the floor. In the toilet’s roof there was an hole where pigeons could enter, also the shower was broken. We reported it to the manager several times, he told us that he would have called someone to fix it but no one came and we had cold shower for 3 days. I would not recommend this hotel.
Super friendly staff always happy to help. Great location and wonderful view of the fort.
1) The rooftop view of the golden Fort accompanied by strong winds. 2) Clean rooms and helpful owner.
Nothing that comes to mind.
Nice and helpful staff. Good English. He can also help with tours or car rent with excellent price. Really nice location, close to the fort. Clean & big room with comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean as well. Definitely worth the price!
The photos in booking.com are not correct. The first room staff showed us was different but at the end they give us the deluxe suite
