Best Jandía hotelsShow all
Nestled on the beach, this Pajara hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Matorral Beach and Las Gaviotas beach. Punta Jandía Lighthouse is 1.5 mi (2.4 km) away.
Pros: Direct on the beach. Good choice of food. The free entertainment in the evening was very good.
Cons: All pretty minor points. Finding a parking spot for our car was a bit challenging at times. Lines for coffee at breakfast due to these fancy machines. A few pots of good old fashion filter coffee would cut down on some of the traffic.
Pros: Food was nice for the first 4 days but the quality went down the road once hotel was fully booked. Very German oriented hotel and the whole attention is for German guests.
Cons: All inclusive package does only include food and a room. You have to pay extra for everything. Only cold outdoor swimming pools and darts are available for free.
Pros: The proximity to the beach was amazing
Cons: We saw two huge cockroach
Pros: Everything was great. The restaurant offer a lot of choice and animation staff was fantastic.
Pros: The entertainment team are a credit to hotel, huge effort made by the team every day, with lots of enthusiasm, in particular Manu, Vladimir, Talia, Soto, Mirko and DJ Kennedy, plus rest of entertainment staff and the waiters were brilliant.
Cons: Twin beds and poor Wi-Fi
Pros: It was a resort of tremendous scale. There were 3 iberostar there. All bar and restaurant was good. And most staff were friendly and helpful except the female staff who cooked the egg in the morning. I stayed 5 nights and I think it was very comfortable. The beach in front of the resort was perfect for a walk.
Cons: The pool was very cold to swim and there were a lot of older people there. I think the price is not affordable. The food was great, but after 3 days, I was sick of the food so I barely ate them except beer. The unlimited beer was nice for me (all inclusive), but the show at the bar in the evening was a pity. A lot of people left their seats in the middle of the event.
Pros: We stayed at star prestige rooms and we loved the star prestige swimming pool and view from the room and infinity pool. Beautiful grounds and very relaxing atmosphere, great selection of drinks and snacks for all incl. We loved the beach, it is just a short walk away, amazing location really.
Cons: People smoking around the pool area and on bar terrace, there isn't an area designated for non smokers while the entire outdoor place is for smokers including balconies, so when you open the door in the morning a wave of smoke is the first thing you smell. I was told by the staff this is Spanish law, that in all open space areas it is allowed to smoke. I feel like hotel could definitely have some rooms and areas around the pools for non smokers/people who do not want to breathe smoke all day long. While there is literally huge choice of food, the taste is mediocre at best, food was the weakest link at this hotel. I feel like easy steps could be taken not to have rump stake turned into rubber and chicken completely dried out on thinner side and raw on thicker. The ingredients used were good, but often the food was dried out, burned or raw or meat turned into rubber - also had to put salt and pepper to almost everything to make it edible. This is at total contrast to what we have experienced at other Iberostar hotels, we didn't feel this was good value for money! And I wouldn't be comfortable recommending this hotel for all incl. to my friends.
Pros: Everything was excellent. Super helpful and friendly staff, delicious food, great location, plenty activities for children.
Pros: Reduced use of plastics, for instance they provide a glass bottle of mineral water every day. They don't use single use plastic cups... Wide variety of choices for the buffet.
Cons: Would have been even great to reduce the viennoiseries options and have pizzas instead for breakfast buffet. Not enough power plugs in the room.
The IBEROSTAR Playa Gaviotas Park is a cosy hotel where you can have the holiday of your dreams next to the beach at Jandía, a spectacular expanse of sand that’s 25 kilometres long. It’s a very cosy hotel for couples and families with children. There won’t be a dull moment during your holiday. Its complete leisure and entertainment activities guarantee wonderful moments for young children to meet other kids: laughing in the Miniclub, playing in the children’s park, taking a dip in one of the five pools and playing sports. Meanwhile, the older members of the family can make the most of their holiday and relax in the SPA Sensations, go for a bicycle ride, reduce stress with some yoga classes, play tennis or practice some water sports, among other activities. Everyone has a wide variety of rooms and suites with excellent installations and with comfortable services, as well as a buffet restaurant with show cooking, themed dinners and three bars.
Pros: Open enough for children use.
Cons: A bit if a long walk to the beach
Pros: Everything was perfect, the food the staff the facilities.. the location is really good but if you want to explore a bit the island it’s not really convenient as it is located completely south, i definitely would go back to this place!!
Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: Evening buffet a bit pizza pasta and limited proper food
Pros: Location is good. Very good variety of food options.
Cons: Very crowded, noisy environment, lots of young children. Outside lunch restaurant closed 4/8 days we were there.
Cons: That booking .com booked 2 rooms and wouldn't sort it out the check in lady saw it was an error and only charged me for one
Pros: Good drinks in all inclusive, but the food could be better. Few healthy options. Animation team is very fun, the resort has many activities scheduled during the day, which is a plus.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the property was fab, the food was amazing.
Cons: Would have liked tea and coffee making in room,
Cons: No iron and iron board
Pros: Exceptionally clean, great staff.
Sol Fuerteventura Jandía is just 150 metres from the spectacular Jandia Beach and next to the Jandia leisure area with varied entertainment options, shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, among other places. Among its services and facilities, Sol Fuerteventura Jandía provides different dining spaces, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, Internet corner with 4 computers and supermarket. This is one of the hotels in Fuerteventura that Meliá offers in a privileged environment of Canary Islands known as European Hawaii. A perfect place to enjoy practicing water sports and its endless beaches with family or friends.
Pros: The best features for us was the spacious apartment and beds were big enough to have a comfortable sleep. The decor is not so modern but the proximity to the beach was just minutes away and we could enjoy walks by the sun at all times ! All inclusive was very good. We also like the fact that it is a quiet and we could have a relax time there.
Cons: Bathroom was big but decor is a bit old fashioned.
Pros: swimming pool area is quite nice. We loved that they had a cat shelter.
Cons: Focused on mass tourism old property
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: Place was good apartment was nice
Pros: A big variety of food! Spanish omlette is perfect!
Pros: Any comments are irrelevant as the resort closes on 30 April 2019 for complete refurbishment. This information was provided by reception staff. It is close to lovely sandy beach. It is somewhat sheltered by the strong prevailing northerly winds that seem to start by mid-morning every day
Cons: An old and tired resort. Quite noisy from the Spanish clientele, but an interesting experience for 2 nights
Pros: Really kind and helpful staff. Everything was taken care of.. The place was run like a well oiled machine. Very slick. The restaurant had a great selection at the buffet.
Cons: Sometimes the food was not warm enough. There is no 'town' so to speak, so you're pretty much restricted to the resort. There is no 'culture'.. But thats not why one would holiday here. Its just a great resort to unwind and relax.
Pros: Clean room. Receptionist was really friendly. Nice choice of foods for dinner for reasonable price.
Cons: It is a holidays resort and as we were here out of holidays season, the price for apartment without breakfast was little bit too high comparing to other apartments on Fuerteventura, where we stayed in.
