Pros: Excellent food (yes, the eggs were excellent as well).
Pros: An extremely nice place. Historic building. Interesting classic interior design. Very kind owners. Excellent breakfast with good coffee.
Cons: It could be a bit warmer in the rooms.
Pros: Nice rooms, comfortable and clean. Beautiful decor. Good size. All rooms/windows have mosquito screens. Overall very nice hotel - I would highly recommend!
Cons: Young professional who was doing the role of receptionist, the waiter and the breakfast cook had bad attitude. She was brisk, short and curt. I wish the owners would hire somebody nicer. Be aware - the large rooms are actually not larger. All the rooms in the hotel are about the same size.

Pros: I loved their comfy beds. Best sleep I have had in ages.
Cons: It was a bit weird to be asked to pay the moment I walked in, not allowing to at least take luggage to the room.
With a stay at Hotel Amazonka Conference & SPA in Ciechocinek, you'll be 14.8 mi (23.8 km) from Dybowski Castle and 15.6 mi (25.1 km) from Rynek Staromiejski. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. This hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Well presented, clean facilities, nice and friendly staff, comfortable room.
Cons: A little bit too far from town centre
Pros: Spacious room, very close to a nice public park where it is nice to go for a morning run or walk.
Pros: Good location
Cons: The twin bed is quiet small. I could not felt asleep..
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Rooms were nice. Hotel was well maintained.
Pros: Hotel was clean and warm
Cons: Staff - bad service, not interested and not engaged staff in the restaurant. They do not understand what the service in a 4-stars hotel should look like. They have problems speaking English. They are not informed about hotels packages.
Pros: Great hotel with wonderfully friendly staff and a great restaurant. Though the bed was small, it was very comfortable. Well designed room and a good breakfast. Secure parking. Great stay, would definitely come back.
Cons: Road perhaps a little noisy but hardly the hotel’s fault!
Pros: This hotel is wonderful, even though i'm a demanding person :) One of the few places i wish to visit again! We had a peaceful garden view room, in the morning birds were singing. My impressing is total comfort and no concerns at all. LIKES: - convenient parking - cosy lobby - extremely clean - the room content & design - breakfast - bed, sleeping conditions
Cons: DISLIKES: no shelf under the mirror in the toilet
Pros: Great staff, superb room and service! Highly recommended!!!
Pros: design of the room
Cons: no music in restaurant during breakfast , very poor breakfast menu, no elevator in the hotel
Pros: Rooms are new and modern. Air con and fridge. Bed comfy.
Cons: The air con made the air very dry, so we switched it off, and slept with the window open. The next day there was a wedding at the hotel. Our room overlooked the smoking area, with loads of noisy guests. It was impossible to sleep with window open. Even with window closed, we could not sleep, due to the bass from the music. At one o'clock, we decided to pack and leave the hotel, and drive home. There were no available quiet rooms. I can't understand why the hotel book private guests in these noisy rooms. The weeding people should be given these rooms next to the ball room. That was not a good weekend.

Pros: Nice hotel with air condition. Private parking. In the center of Ciechocinek. Good beds. Small, but good breakfast.
Cons: Instruction how to find the hotel and parking. There should be a fridge in all rooms.
Pros: Very clean place with friendly and accommodating staff, conveniently located. I would recommend this place anytime.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Very good location. Attractive hotel. Good breakfast.
Cons: The bed could have been more comfotable.
Pros: Modern small hotel in the center of Ciechocinek. We have stayed here before. Air con, parking, great beds, great breakfast. For the price we got at booking.com, vs value, we have to give it top score.
Cons: This time we had a comfort room, and that didn't include a fridge. However, we could rent one for 15 zloty pr day. So that was ok.
Pros: The płace is very nice, clean and comfortable. Very good location. Good food. Everyone on front desk really helpful and nice people!
Pros: My normal accommodation in Ciechocinek, was full, so we accepted a good offer here. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel and the parking place. A instruction how to find the hotel would be useful. Hotel was a surprise, nice, comfy rooms with air con and good beds. The included breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly. For the price we paid, I have to give a top score.
Cons: Instructions on how to find the hotel..
Pros: Really nice hotel for a price/value ratio, with nice rooms interior, free parking and wifi. Great breakfast. Spotless clean.
Cons: The owner seems overprotective and it looks like he's cheap: mentions the air conditioning and opening windows way too much, and passive-aggressive note that you should put on your plate only as much as you are able to eat. Intentions are good, but the way it is expressed, not so much.

Cons: The take from me money the said you most pay at hotel places a bit return to my account the money which bookin occupated it Sent trttt
Pros: Exellent location, Compact but comfortable room,Delicious breakfast, excellent /Professional staff. Free entry to stylish swimming pool , jacuzzi and steam roomi is a big bonus compere to other -cheeper accomodations .
Cons: I Enjoyed my stay throughout - no complaints!
Pros: .salt water pool .location
Cons: .breakfast - much lower standard then last visits, stomach problems afterwards .staff - unfriendly .bathrobes - once again a hassle and 4 visits gave no results, have to bring your own .restaurant - closed during the week, the cafe with bad service .too hot in room, single beds joined which split apart
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic
Pros: amazing breakfast, location next to the park and close to the centre, the quality of the service; clean rooms. Excellent spa and very good physiotherapy in the clinic on the same premises. It was a very good short holiday.
Cons: beware of rooms next to the airco ventilators outside - very noisy, but our room was changed upon request; loud music in the steam room (which is in 'silent zone' in the spa!), but also switched off upon request; Prices are western European, but the standard and comfort very high. Minuscule fitness room (apparently there is a bigger next door, but closed)
Pros: Service of stuff and excellent food from the restaurant!
Pros: It was fine
Cons: The room was quite small and leave not much space for a usual suitcase. Furthermore, I don't follow the idea of a common balcony.
Cons: maybe the staff in the restaurant at the breakfast should learn some foreign language. Otherwise everything perfect!

Cons: Bit removed from town, but what is there in Wloclawek to see? Sound insulation not great; heard Polish hilarity from next door till 2 AM.
Pros: The staff were very accommodating Had dinner 2 nights there and was delicious
Cons: There was no complimentary soap or shampoo but there was a Lidl up the road so we didn't mind
Pros: Very good location (close to river bank and to the downtown), large parking lot, comfortable bed and very tasty meal in the hotel restaurant.

Pros: I chose this, the only publicised hotel-style accommodation in the small rural town of Aleksandrow-Kujawski in Poland because of it's proximity to the railway station on one of the railway lines running between Warsaw and Gdansk. Literally 2 minutes walk from the station, there is also a small mini-supermarket very close nearby. The very large room with double bed was very warm indeed but with easily opening windows and an adjustable radiator was soon at just the right temperature. Bottled water is provided, and the room was quite modern with a very uptodate bathroom with shower. I paid a bargain budget price of £22 per night including a fairly substantial continental style breakfast, so got a budget style hotel. The staff were quite friendly though I suspect a little under pressure to fulfill many roles. I imagine the hotel is mainly for business travellers as breakfast was a bit of a solitary affair at a little before 9 am though I think the hotel is very quiet off-season and there is little in the town of tourist interest. The railway station is currently undergoing renovation but a peep through the old booking office doorway reveals a spectacular once extremely gracious and elegant expanse with high pillars etc and gorgeous lofty ceiling plasterwork reminiscent of a room in a palace in an imperial bygone age. Overall I was pleased with my stay and at the price paid - with an upgrade to bedding and just a touch more emphasis on customer care, this hotel might easily aspire to a 5 star rating.
Cons: Aware from other reviews about the issues in finding the reception, I just used what appeared to be the front door and went through the restaurant and was soon checked in. What appears to have perplexed other travellers is the fact that the original period building at the front is connected by a first floor passage-way to a new extension. This means walking up a flight of stairs then down again, and there is no lift. The other ( initially bewildering ) option is to arrive and walk down the driveway to the rear of the hotel to the car-park where there is another reception desk which may or may not be manned. This - if you are staying in one of the ground floor extension rooms - means no stairs, though you need a pass-code to access this entrance which is given on arrival. The only negative comment I must make is that the bed appeared to have been hastily pulled together, with carpet in need of vacuuming and a plastic bag full of empty beer-bottles left in the room. I imagine this may have been because I arrived on a Sunday afternoon but as the hotel had been advised of this is not really good enough. Normally I would significantly downgrade my rating because of this, and also the fact that the mattress was not very comfortable being a quite thin foam affair with ridiculously over-sized pillows. I have had experience of other small town hotels in Poland in the past where the emphasis on quality is still far behind that of the cities and is somewhat reminiscent of former Communist times where the customer was of no significance. Comment has been made about noise at the weekend so I imagine Friday and Saturday nights can be quite lively as the restaurant may be the sole centre of formal social life in the town. I hesitated about giving a 4 star rating, but because cleanliness and sleep comfort are paramount when staying away from home, the rating has had to be 3 stars so that other potential visitors are aware of potential shortcomings.
Pros: Nice selection of breakfast items. scrambled eggs and bacon tasty. Plenty of fruit and other offerings.
Cons: No face clothes in bathroom. Shower was a little small. But great water pressure.
Pros: Fantastic food range, delicious Polish specialties. Room specious and worth the money.
Pros: Large room and clean.Very quiet village and not so far from Torun.Delicios breakfast.
Pros: All was amazing. Specially fantastic breakfast. I reccomend staying there. Super nice service, great chef, couldnt be better.

Pros: I really enjoyed the historic setting of the property and the interior. Everything kept to nice, comfy standard. It also felt like I’d traveled in time and found myself at the beginning of past century! Very nice. Food was good and plenty. Staff/owners very helpful, nice and polite. Thank you for making my one-night stay enjoyable.
Cons: The bed was comfortable enough but a bit out of the decor and I hurt my sheens a couple of times on its low and edgy sides. Also, unfortunately it goes the same for the shower entry, right in front of it there was low ceiling that I bashed a couple of times.
Pros: Historic architecture. Traditional Polish breakfast foods. Owner hospitality. Location by a park.
Cons: The bed in our room was large enough but could have used more support. Or just a couple more pillows to pad my back.
Pros: Beauty and lovely quiet location very nearby to main attraction of the resort. The building remains with original old fashion great design - wooden floors and stairs, furnitures. Original architectural Tyrol style very rare in this area. Wooden facade and huge wooden balconies. Romantic and stylish place for historical objects lovers.
Cons: Very narrow parking places required guide by the owner. BTW the owner is quite sarcastic and not really polite with specific sense of humor. Breakfast was included with total room price, but very poor and monotonic: every day few slices of sausages or smoked ham, 1- 2 tomatoes, slices cheese or cottage cheese. Last Sunday served extra 2 boiled eggs garnished by... ketchup. Not possible to order scrambled eggs if boiled eggs are already prepared. No juices or mineral water as standards for breakfast, no yogurts, cornflakes or musli, no vegetables, no fruits. The costumers are limited to have breakfast as per ready owner's set only. Water in the shower medium worm usually. And the biggest surprise: the clients are NOT ALLOWED to bring to the room any own soft drinks, juices or mineral water. All MUST be buy in the hotel bar/ restaurant only. In the end, when I'm just published my 3 stras rate and opinion at google maps, I've got immediately text massage and email notice from the owner, that by his mistake I had paid wrong bill belongs to other client (?) and I have to send addition payment to his account within 48 hours!!! Hard to understand wy I have to pay now addition transfer fees for not my fault, and how is this possible that I had paid wrong bill if I have had asked for check out one hour before I left hotel.
Pros: Very warm atmosphere created by hosts, they have always time for conversation. Nice place to stay for those who are in romantic mood.
Cons: Shower cabin is very tight.
Pros: The overall atmosphere.
Pros: Lovely location and delightful decor of antique furniture. Delicious breakfast different every day. Nothing too much trouble for staff. Family run business welcomes guests as friends.

Cons: Heating reduction in bathroom was not possible, it was extremely hot and as we were with our little son we couldn't open the window to lower the temperature.
Pros: - Good breakfast during the weekend, average breakfast on Monday (they took away the coffee machine for some reason)
Cons: - Would have been nice to be informed that the place will be hosting two LOUD weddings night after night and the restaurant will be closed. - Spa closed at 5 pm on Sunday. So much for "conference and SPA" in the name - Chicken farm next door. Not bad if you are a chicken fan. - Extra charge (PLN 30/ night) for pets.
