Pros: Great breakfast and comfy bed, friendly people
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful location but do ignore the dog who is secured by a chain but will make his presence known. Alain knows how to look after his guests and makes the best breakfast ever. Fresh everything and hand made fruit salad. Home made plain yoghurt. They make a fuss of you on a tray !!! If you think it's chalet then rethink that. It's like a tardis !!! Large room with very large shower room, toilet wash basin. Plenty of room for your luggage and bits. TV the lot and even good internet. You can hear the peace cos there's nothing else to hear !!!!
Cons: You'd be scraping the barrel to find anything you didn't like but if pushed I'd say there was a bird outside in a tree that was singing a bit loud !!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B is a very private property. We were shown an absolutely charming room, fitted out as a library, on the ground floor with a huge bathroom. You could walk out across the lawn to a lovely view of the river. Our hosts were very gracious, treating us to a sumptuous breakfast of cheeses, homemade yogurt and jams the next morning. Although we did not use it, there was a beautiful pool in the yard as well. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. We highly recommend.
Cons: We were a bit confused when we first arrived. The iron gate entrance had a very tiny sign which we finally discovered, telling us to call a number to obtain admission.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This lovely house is situated on the very banks of the Loire, a few kilometres north-east of Sancerre. Although close to the centre of town, the house is very secluded and very quiet. Moreover, it is filled with wonderful treasures from around the world. In the absence of the owners, (away on holiday), we were looked after wonderfully by Anita and Bruno, who regaled us with a creole meal from Reunion. This is a truly delightful place to stay for exploring the region; please see the attached photos! Thoroughly recommended.
Cons: In terms of the property, there was nothing to fault; yes, it was that good! However, be warned that restaurants in the town are few and far between and generally quite modest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious accommodation. Comfortable and welcoming
Cons: Loved everything

Pros: I thought this was a hotel or place with multiple rooms, it’s actually a rented room on an old farm house. So lovely and peaceful. You’ll need a car though, taxis are very expensive and hard to come by. Brush up on your French, as the owners speak very little English. A translation app came in handy!

Pros: Sooo lovely & quiet! Fantastic for star gazing as negligible light pollution. What a delightful BnB, your own private self contained space with all you need to prepare a meal for 2/3. (15 mins drive to the local new Super U) Phillipe was a most helpful host, and we had a lovely breakfast prepared for us and delivered on a tray to our accommodation at a time requested by us. This was my husbands favourite accommodation in our 10 day trip... for its peace & quiet, and facilities. High praise indeed!

Pros: The property was beautiful. Lots of grassy area for our 5 year old to run and play. Our room had a terrace out back that was wonderful.
Cons: Everything was great. We did not realize that we could only pay in cash until we were leaving in the morning. We had to drive to town to get cash and bring it back to pay. Cash only was stated in the small print of a drop down menu on booking.com but it took me a bit to find it even after knowing it was there. I think it would be helpful if cash only was stated in the main property description since this is so unusual.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent croissants in the morning - truly the best I've ever had. Lovingly baked by the hostess herself. The location was ideal for touring the area and there are walking trails and Loire beaches right outside the door. Parking was not a problem. Good selection of restaurants close by. Rooms beautifully furnished and the friendliest host and hostess imaginable.
Cons: It was perfect! Nothing to criticize!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: good quality price
Cons: a little bit loud in the morning - checking only possible after 3 pm
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Have stayed here several times and have always been made very welcome by the very helpful proprietor. Rooms are very well appointed and each is individually themed. Great location on the banks of the river Loire just a 15 minute drive from Sancerre and surrounding villages with all their wineries. 2 good restaurants next to the hotel so no particular need to go further afield for dinner - and breakfast in the hotel is very good too.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice old building and nice room. Good location by the river. A number of restaurants very close incl opposite on the river
Cons: Nothing really
8.8 Excellent
Pros: breakfast excellent value and a hostess to look after the customers
7.1 Good
Pros: The location. Very close to Sancerre and Pouilly. Breakfast is ok. The value for money ratio is very good though.
Cons: Despite the river side location, no river view as the view is blocked by a shabby restaurant. The hotel is outdated and lacks a terrace and a bar. So there is no space where you can relax.

Pros: Cute couple of owners. They are great and intilligent people. He is a doctor. She is a housekeeper. But they are both very kind and well educated. The only minus that they don't know English enough good and the internet is awful. If you need internet it's not a place for you. If you need anything other, all is there very cool. :)
Cons: Internet is bad.

Cons: Trying to find the address unfortunately their address is the same as a near neighbour where our satnav sent us first and both addresses are rural France!!(up small lanes) many near eating places closed in the evening

7.1 Good
Pros: Very hospitable welcome and the bed and breakfast is located in a quiet environment not too far from Sancerre and Bué, which was the purpose of our detour. Bonuses for kids are definitely that they can go and see the animals and there's a playground with a bouncy castle. We had one of the 2-bedroom suites on the upper floor, which was ample sized and comfortable. The breakfast is served downstairs and it was delicious, offering also local cheeses.
Cons: It was very hot that day and there is no air-conditioning, so it was quite hot in the room. Luckily we had anti-mosquito ointment so we could sleep with the windows open. During the night we heard mice in the roof, which I guess is not abnormal in a farm environment and when we mentioned this at breakfast they reacted friendly to this remark. Unfortunately one of these crawlies managed to travel with us in the course of the next day and popped out of our backpack during one of the stops. As you can imagine, this gave us quite the scare.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Having cycled 90+ miles and arriving a little later than expected, I was met by a friendly, helpful lady who showed me to the block of rooms where I was the only occupant at the time. My room was clean & a good size with a small shower room & toilet. There was a communal kitchen area with fridge available for guest use. Also a lounge area with TV & tables. The lovely lady opened the farm shop for me & guided me to some great goat cheeses (the farm's speciality), bread & local beers for my evening repast which I took at the outdoor seating area overlooking the orchard and fields. Breakfast was great & plentiful taken in the pleasant lounge.
Cons: The room had a shuttered window which unfortunately let flies in by the score so much of my evening was spent ridding my room of these annoying creatures before getting any sleep. It also meant I was unable to get any ventilation in on a night with overnight temperatures into the 20's c.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice for kids! Attentive staff, idyllic place, sensational breakfast!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was our third visit and the welcome was as friendly as always, beds are really comfortable and breakfast is simple but filling, especially if you like goats cheese which comes fresh from the adjoining farm.
Cons: Nothing
