Pros: Nice views from room, owners very nice and helpful and spoke English, good base for visiting caves
Pros: We're a family from a very big city and got a bit scared when we arrived. There's only about 200 houses in the village, a small shop that carries some groceries and that was it. No atm, no restaurants. Within an hour we forgot the hectic citylife when we went out of the gate of the backyard. The view is totally freaking awesome!!! The appartment we rented had 2 bedrooms and a shower. There's a kitchen for general use. The garden has a fireplace, a bbq, kids toys, a slide and a swimmingpool. We spent three nights here... wish we stayed three weeks. We ordered a breakfast for 2 days. Bread, boiled eggs, cheese, jelly, ham, fresh fruits, yoghurts, cornflakes, juices, tea. Plent plenty plenty! Awesome stay, awesome Lady of the house!
Cons: We wish we've could have stayed longer...
Pros: The host was really nice. Even though his English was not perfect, he took the time to find the right words and make sure we understand.
Pros: Brilliant position to explore Moravsky Kras. Property has an outdoor seating which was so lovely to enjoy evening with friends. We opted for breakfast which was fresh and plenty. Very helpful advice from the owner.
Pros: Very good place
Pros: The bathroom is really nice. There is a kettle in the room as well as some plates and mugs.
Cons: There is one shop in the neighborhood open till 4 pm I think. We arrived later so we wanted to order a pizza from a restaurant and they didn't agree to deliver it as they couldn't really speak English.
Pros: Very clean and spacious (it looks quite tiny on the picture). Close to Macocha, it took us 15 min driving. 5-7 min driving to nearest restaurant.
Cons: On Booking it was mentioned that we don't have a breakfast while it was actually included.
A stay at Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace places you in the heart of Brno, steps from Zelný trh Underground Labyrinth and Old Town Hall. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great location, nice vintage interior, fair price.
Pros: A beautful art-deco hotel in the center of Brno, with the view on the most important monuments of the city. The room was large, the bathroom as well and although the hotel is on a market square, there was practically no noise from outside. The breakfast was very good, only the selection of coffee ("just tea or coffee") was too simple and the waiting time for it was quite long
Pros: The view from the window is awesome!!
Cons: • Shower hang on the wall too low, totally uncomfortable. • we constantly heard our upper and side neighbors • the air in the room was terrible, and the smell too. • furniture isn’t modern, I wouldn’t say it is five-star condition, but probably it is a kind of style. • breakfast - nothing special. Just normal.
Pros: Centre position
Cons: The hotel looks abandoned as if nothing has been done for many years to make it comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Resembles entrance to the office. No room service. We arrived at 10pm after 1 thousand km drive and they couldn't even offer a cold plate. Bathroo. Was narrow like a corridor. Absolutely not 5 star. Normal 3star hotel
Pros: Booked last minute and the staff were excellent, very accommodating. Lady at the front desk couldn't have been nicer, and even gave us a free room upgrade since the computer system was having a bit of trouble. The room was very clean and well isolated, couldn't hear any noise at all. The toiletries were excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choices. Overall, nothing to fault.
Located in Brno, Maximus Resort is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Brno Reservoir and University of Technology Brno. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very good resort with great restaurant
Cons: To access the wellness facilities wasn't an advantage as hotel guest. 4* spa resort without access to indoor swimming pool
Pros: Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere and the wellness center was a huge bonus. A perfect all in vacation location. Only downside is some rooms have no air conditioners so check before you book if this is a requirement. Great restaurant and good food. Another downside is if it’s busy hard to get the reservation you need for amenities so recommend booking early. Also not all of the staff spoke English fluently but still managed okay.
Cons: Not all rooms were air conditioned. If there are other events hard to take advantage of all of the great amenities like bowling.
Pros: This was my second time staying at this hotel and it is a wonderful place, comfy, clean and lovely spa. This time I stayed with my dog and there was plenty of room for him too. There are 2 choices of restaurant setting and I choose the one with the outside seating as its a bit more relaxed, though I think the food might be the same. Overall a really great place to stay
Cons: The location is a bit out of the way and you nee to drive or have a long walk to any other nice restaurant. However its a very nice walkd
Pros: Nice atmosphere, quiet surroundings.
Cons: Little crammed, access to wellness is not included in the price. No elevator, no air conditioning.
Pros: The rooms are really nice and clean and the staff are polite and helpful. The 3-star standard rooms do not have airco and for 26 degrees hot nights in the summer it is a must. The 4-star rooms have airco. The Spa and sauna section is really worth it if it works. Most of them were functional, so we had a great time. 90 minute access card is a bit too little for how much is there in the spa section, good the massage is not counted in. I liked that even if there were an issue with the fact they did not have the room we ordered, they upgraded us for one night and gave the possibility to cancel the second night for free. We were on an European tour and could easily change destination. The breakfast has a lot of choice for all the tastes.
Cons: When the problem with the transfer of the order from booking was noticed by the property, we were not informed and originally downgraded (we ordered an 4 star one-bedroom suite with airco - downgraded to 3 star triple room). Thanks to the fact that the young lady in the reception everything was changed in the end for the better, but giving the late time we arrived it was not a nice thing to go through. The restaurant personell speaks only Czech or German - not very impressed with that.
Pros: - WELLNESS, the best I've ever been and therefore I'm coming back 2-3x a year - location, near the water, nature, great for walks
Cons: - restaurant not open during lunch time, only after 4 pm, and the menu wasn't so great, really small choice of dishes - no minibar, room fridge empty - TV signal not working properly, it wasn't possible to watch anything

Pros: Breakfast was excellent with variety and healthiness. Amazing hotel and location with excellant views of the city.
Cons: A map of shuttle drop off and pick up locations was needed. It was great they had a shuttle to downtown and the show.
Pros: New, modern, very well designed and furnished, spotlessly clean. Very polite, helpful staff who all appeared happy to work there. Quiet room, huge bed, clean crisp bedding, good facilities and a great view.
Cons: Room was cold, I could not see an obvious way to heat the room. Only 4 english channels on the tv and all were news programs. Main complaint would be the shower tap control, it was very stiff and difficult to turn on and off.
Pros: Room fridge very useful Courtesy car also useful
Cons: Access to a washing machine & drier would have been very useful

Cons: Nothing special.
Pros: Very good place with free private parking and beautiful park This hotel is comfortable for staying with a pet.
Pros: Quiet place. Free & spacious parking. Comfortable bed.

Pros: Friendly staff. Center is about 30 minutes walk. Plenty of breakfast
Cons: The room was extremely hot, the air conditioning couldn’t cool down the room. The tram was noisy.
Pros: Very cozy hotel, nice garden, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Convenient location - close to downtown, parking places near to the hotel.
Pros: The rooms were clean and the breakfast was decent. Free parking was useful.
Pros: Good location, quiet place (if you have a room with windows to the courtyard). Nice and polite hotel managers. Possibility of late checking (even though it costs 10 euro). Parking spots in front of the hotel. Perfectly suits for comfortable overnight stay. Perfect quality for the relatively small city like Brno. The hotel is well maintained and clean, feels like it's in very good hands.
Cons: I didn't like breakfast here – too basic and not really tasty, even though the breakfast room is interesting and nice. One lamp in the room was broken (glass itself) that is kinda dangerous (room 2.3, table lamp).
Pros: It's very conveniently located for the expo grounds. We went there for a concert and if they ever host any concert there again, we'll be sure to stay there. Rooms were spacious, very reasonably priced late check out. Good parking right out front. All good.
Cons: Nothing to fault. Great little hotel. Don't let the name or anything throw you off, this is a proper hotel, we really loved it. Fear not and book it.
Pros: Very clean. Really fresh breakfast.
Cons: Lovely staff!
The Barceló Brno Palace is an urban hotel that boasts a perfect location in the centre of the city of Brno, capital of South Moravia. The main tourist destinations such as Špilberk Castle and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul are at a short distance from the hotel.
Pros: location, breakfast, personal of the reception
Pros: Very lavish
Pros: Opposite an Irish club that ROCKS until 6am. Restaurant vegetables Findus frozen selection. Hardly any staff and those that there are don't know things like how to get an extra teabag.
Cons: Whoever graded this hotel has never seen the inside of a 5 star place. The lift is nice. The gym has one bike, one treadmill, is subterranean, and all the weights are missing. It is dreadful. One side of the hotel is so noisy no one can sleep. We managed to get moved but that involved a HUGE downgrade of room. Would never stay there again and would never recommend.
A stay at VV Hotel B & B places you in the heart of Brno, within a 10-minute walk of Zelný trh Underground Labyrinth and Brno National Theatre. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: bed, room,
Cons: location is a bit hard to find,
Pros: Excellent location 5 minute walk from the main station, immaculately clean, good breakfast and excellent value for money for this stay.
Cons: Hair in bath on arrival. Despite the fact that on arrival it was stated that only 3 days instead of 4 days stay and are reduced accordingly, the full amount was then charged. That is not acceptable. Breakfast was very simple.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly, the hotel is well situated with it's own parking lots, that means a lot in this area in the center of Brno. The room was clean and great, with TV and all, breakfast was awesome too.
Pros: Polite and helpful staff, close to town and train station, clean, comfortable beds. Great breakfast and Prosecco (what a bonus)
Cons: We couldn't fault this hotel

Pros: Nice small hotel with large rooms, clean and with very friendly personal. Really ok if you don’t want to look out of the window. On my side was only windows of a construction building. Right to a large shopping mall. It was a nice stay for two days.
Cons: The View out of the window but it’s ignorable.
Pros: Great staff, big clean room, private parking. Perfect for me.
Pros: It’s normal hotel
Pros: Nice, big room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast.
Cons: It would be nice if guests could leave their luggage there after the check-out, however, they only have a space for one suitcase or so at the reception. As for the location, it is a bit far from the city centre and buses later in the evening are not very frequent, but otherwise everything was ok.

Pros: We got more than we expected - simple but nice interior, super clean, delicious breakfast.

Pros: Perfect location, clean, comfortable, there is everything you need (include washing machine). Supermarket is just 100 m away. Good cafe at the same building (the reception is located in that cafe).
Cons: Pillows are very uncomfortable. Noise outside (but the hostel provides earplugs, which are very useful)
Pros: We liked the staff and the location. The way they treated us and the privacy in the shared rooms
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean hostel. Extremely good location! It's located right in the middle of the old town! Gave us a guidebook about Brno.
Cons: There's only one bathroom + toilet, not really a big issue but I had to force my partner to come out from his shower because i needed to use the loo urgently. Would be something really awkward if it was someone else in there.
Pros: Everything, one of the nicest hostels I stayed at worldwide. Beautiful decor, central location, was lucky regarding other guests in the 4bed room/flat unit, very relaxing easy stay
Cons: Bells from the nearby town hall every 15min,but that's not hostel's issue at all, that's the downtown location
Pros: The best experience of staying in hostels.

Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Bad quality at bathroom

Cons: Customer service at the reception, providing informations to the guests
Pros: Comfy bed, nice modern bathroom. Very tasty breakfast, small but quality variety. We tried the restaurant for dinner and had burgers and ribs and the meals and wine were delicious.
Cons: There was a lot of noise from the room next door. The soundproofing should be improved. The guests were not noisy, they just had regular conversation and watched TV, but we could heare everything.
Pros: Very interesting design of interior
Cons: Almost perfect, but missing desk in the room(the one I had), so I couldn't do any laptop work in the evening.
Pros: Underground parking. Modern room. Some rooms with great view. Professional receptionist. Good breakfast. Little further from city center, but price is reasonable.

Pros: The staff were terrific and helpful. Parking was very convenient. Access to roadways simple if you arrive and depart by car. A short taxi ride to the old town. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Not really walking distance to the old town, so if you have to use a taxi be prepared to be ripped off. The taxis were absurdly expensive for the distance and time to the Old Town (Center). About $8 to $9 for the 5 minute, mile and a half journey. Of course, this not Holiday Inn’s fault, but just fair warning.
Pros: I like to location, the parking service.
Cons: Since I was travelling for work, my work required night shifting coverage, when I was coming back to sleep there was alot of noises in the corridor from the cleaning staff in the morning, talking loud even when I had the tag on the door to come back later etc.. The other thing was so annoying the room that I had was seperated by a door while I could hear the people next to me yelling screaming. It was so annoying and bothered me the whole night! I hope you will take this note into consideration and make sure you won't reserve the room that I was having the room number was 531, thank you
Pros: Great breakfast and friendly staff, free parking
Cons: Beds very small, only two pillows for four people, bath not clean with black hair in the tub
Pros: Everything was great
Pros: Good option for people travelling to south of Europe. Testy breakfest.
With a stay at Hotel Royal Ricc in Brno (Brno-střed), you'll be steps from Old Town Hall and Zelný trh Underground Labyrinth. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Good location; friendly staff
Pros: Location great
Cons: Close to bars & beer garden! Had to keep windows closed because of noise late into the night.
Pros: Really great location in the center of town. A close walk to the castle on the hill, and to the 2 main squares. Hotel itself is really cool looking, and very small. They give you a glass of local wine at the move in, which was nice. Breakfast is good with a pretty good selection.
Cons: Some of the hotel windows face the courtyard with bars, so it's a bit loud at nights, but it dies out quickly. So keep that in mind.
Pros: Location, friendly staff, accommodation
Pros: The hotel is right in the pedestrian zone on the Cabbage Market. The furnishings are quite unique, the breakfast is super.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like about this hotel
Pros: Great location. Excellent breakfast. The building, which is very old and has retained some traditional architectural features. The windows and ceilings are really beautiful
Pros: Location/ Breakfast is ok.
Cons: We ordered a room in the description of which indicated that its size is 20 square meters, that it has a bathrobe and slippers, as well as tea and coffee facilities. In fact, it turned out that a room measuring 10 square meters (so small that the suitcase had to be placed in the bathroom), a coffee machine is present, but coffee is for money only, and there is no tea, bathrobe or slippers at all. When we contacted the reception we were told that we have a very good bathroom instead, and everything that is missing is only in the delux rooms. Well, in addition, it is very stuffy on the stairs and in the elevators, there are no air conditioners there. A huge problem is with parking. To enter the hotel, you need to break the rules of the road and go under the sign "pedestrian zone" and hope that the police will not stop you. It is still impossible to drive up to the hotel itself, since the road is blocked by a barrier. so the closest point in 50 meters. Then the porter should come and repark the car. In our case, it simply was not there. And if you have a lot of luggage ... It's all very far from the declared 4-stars and certainly not worth the money we paid.
Pros: Beautiful lobby and breakfast room
Cons: Room was small and overlooking a beer hall below. Heard noise until late. If opened the window, which we had to one night due to A/C not working, then you smell smoke from the beer hall. Also the Hotel says they have a restaurant but they don’t.
Pros: I booked one night as a gift to a newlywed couple. The staff in the hotel was maximally helpful with pre-arranging all our demands and the couple itself enjoyed it tremendously.
With a stay at Hotel Pegas Brno in Brno (Brno-střed), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Mint Master’s Cellar and New Town Hall. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Limited parking is available onsite.
Cons: Arrival by car - very complicated, instructions not quite clear.
Pros: The breakfast was varied and tasty. Room was spacious and clean. Free beverages was a nice gesture too.
Pros: Very central to sightseeing places. The receptionists were very helpful and kind. The breakfast spread was good. Everything was exceptional.
Pros: Easily reached by tram 4 going left from major interchange in front of train station. Location is fine with a micro-brewery Czech eating house/pub 'Pivnice Pegas' on the ground floor (reception via lift to level 1). Handy for the trams 3, 5, 9 that travel in the direction of Villa Tugendhat, a late 1920s commission for architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
Pros: Room and breakfast
Cons: Could not find parking lot from description. So stayed about 500m on different parkint lot witch cost me extra 20 euros
Pros: Excellent location .Good breakfast.
Pros: The receptionist was so very helpful, despite our language barrier. Even helping me get tea at 11pm. Breakfast was great, our room had a little terasa to sit and drink our complementary beer on. Hotel restaurant was delicious, but make a reservation!
Cons: The semi-covered smoking area at the entrance was kind of annoying to have to walk through to enter.
Pros: The location was amazing, you step out into the pedestrian zone of Brno. The staff even arranged that I could drive my car right up to the hotel to unload. The room was big and airy with air con and was spotlessly clean. The hotel has it's own little brewery beneath and has a long history. It is a great place, I thoroughly recommend it. Thank you to all at Hotel Pegas.
Pros: Hotel in the center with parking browery tavern and restoran priceless

Pros: Nice and clean room. Quick and easy check in. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: Sound isolation of the room migh be improved.
Pros: The hotel was comfortable, the room was spacious
Cons: I was really disappointed that booking.com did not state clearly that the stay did not include breakfast. We had to pay additional 6 euro per person for breakfast.
Pros: It was clean, breakfast was good. Not far from city center.
Cons: There was no private parking but a lot of space to leave the car in the street. There were some cameras around the area but I still was a bit afriad to leave the car there.
Pros: Very beautiful place, great location.
Cons: Light was not working in room number 5. No one was there when we arrived even though it was before 21:00 (check in closing time according info about hotel)
Pros: Large rooms with comfortable bed and bathroom, all clean. Breakfast was very good!
Cons: I expected reserved parking place, but the parking lot was on the street and it was full at our arrival. We arrived at 21:30 and nobody was there, so we received information about how to enter (code for keys) by sms, which was clear but a bit unexpected. One of the reasons we selected this place was that a restaurant should have been open until 22:00, but it was closed, however in the neighborhood there were other restaurants available.
