Peace beds need new mattresses
Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Good information folder in room. Relaxing atmosphere. Excellent food No tv in room
Friendleness of the staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast (which is rare in hotels}. We are planning to return in october.
Sight seeing and walking. No
Generally quiet and peaceful but less rural than anticipated Veery noisey children of other guests in the public rooms, particuilarly the dining room at supper on Sat 22 Mar.
Well appointed with interesting architectural features. Breakfast wa excellent. Good selection and well presented. However the evening meal was of mediochre cooking and expensive.
Just chilled out drank and ate! No it suited what we wanted at the time
The friendly and extremely helpful staff did everything they could to make our stay memorable, including upgrading us to a superior room. Beautiful, calm surroundings and the super menu choices.
Very remote, yet in breathtaking location, with beautiful grounds and pool. Fantastic restaurant and breakfast. An unforgettable place. Some problems with portable ac units, sometimes rooms were not at a comfortable temperature
Een echte aanrader! We zijn er onze vakantie gestart (upgrade van de kamer als "honeymooners") en we zijn op het einde van de vakantie teruggekomen (en kregen als bedanking een fles chamagne).
Good all round hospitality. The road to it!
Peace and quiet
The guys who own the hotel were really friendly. The food was also great. A nice, quiet getaway. Would certainly recommend.
It was a very comfortable hotel with excellent food and a lovely, quiet mountain location with fantastic views. The owner was friendly and flexible and nothing was too much trouble. A very relaxing place to stay, with good walks starting from right outside the hotel. No.
We enjoyed the quiet and the rustic nature of the hotel. It was friendly and home-like.
We liked everything. This hotel is an absolute gem .David and Ivan run a rustic, rural haven that manages to incorporate a certain cosmopolitan panache rarely found in Andalucia; they have their own Art Gallery... David will source the most appropriate guide for your requirements..and almost anything else you may need....even before you know that you need it !!...Ivan will cook food for you that you will remember for the rest of your life..don't leave without tasting his glorious deserts.Take a look at their website for a full view of all the imaginative extras that are available.Unlike most other hotels I stayed at during this trip, David and Ivan provide Tea/ Coffee making facility in your room..Fabulous food, views, conversation,+ b and l This is not really a negative..but...the road that leads to Bandolero is not for the faint hearted and only the passengers can admire the stunning views from that road...unless you pull over..if you can. The trick for the driver is to look well ahead around the winding mountain road and if you spot anything coming your way look.. For a stopping point...even if you have to wait 5 mins it is worth it.There are large numbers of Ravens to be seen soaring and croaking above this road ..so well worth the endeavor.
The owners are lovely. very friendly and helpful.
David and Ivan were very friendly and hepful. It is in a quiet location in the hills south of Ronda. The restaurant food was excellent and well priced. The pool was very welcoming at the end of the day. There was no air-conditioning and it was very hot during our stay. A fan was provided but it still made sleeping difficult.
